The worst point was that the garden was in building. Few menage in the kitchen. The best, near the centrum , calefaction and new furniture in the apartment.

Una experiencia poco confortable

No hay limpieza de habitaciones, el Check in se hace sólo, nadie acompaña desde la recepción hasta el departamento que está a tres puentes de distancia. No hay personal que pase todos los días para verificar necesidades de los inquilinos. El Wi Fi es malo y se corta permanentemente. Se solicita un depósito con tarjeta de 300 E. que despés no de reintegra el cupón por lo cual se desconoce si se cobra algo o no. Conclusión: Buscar otro.

Buen apartamento para estancia familiar.

En todo momento Short Stay Group se mostró muy amable con nosotros, ofreciéndonos todo tipo de ayuda e información. No hubo problema en hacer el check-in en su oficina del aeropuerto antes de la hora establecida. El apartamento está situado en una zona muy buena y tranquila, bien comunicada con cualquier punto del centro, tanto por tranvía como incluso andando. El apartamento está muy bien equipado, con todo lo necesario para cocinar. Si acaso, la única pega es el tamaño, demasiado pequeño. Estuvimos 4 personas y no cabíamos en la mesa a la hora de comer, y las zonas de dormitorio eran muy pequeñas; además, como es un apartamento sin ventanas que se pudieran abrir (sólo la puerta de acceso) y con un lucernario en el techo que recibía todo el calor, resultó un poco asfixiante por la falta de ventilación, aunque esto se debió también a las altas temperaturas que hubo en los días que estuvimos (se solucionó en parte gracias a los dos ventiladores que había en el apartamento). En general, muy satisfechos. Demasiado caro, sin duda, para lo pequeño del apartamento, pero cierto es que en Amsterdam cualquier apartamento u hotel es carísimo, así que tampoco nada fuera de lo normal.

Sleeping with the Lights On...

Have you ever wanted a permanent night light if your room, the size and color of an emergency exit sign? Well, this is your place. In case you forget where the door is in the small, studio apartment, the management (or likely local building code organization) wanted to ensure you were completely safe. We taped a pizza box and a scarf over the sign to make it dark enough to sleep, but definitely an annoying part of the apartment. The shower also had a bad smell. We had a maintenance guy throw some chemicals at the bathroom after day one. After another 36 hours or so, the smell came back. The place is not the finest establishment, with water marks on the walls, patched holes not painted, broken TV, insufficient utensils (we were given only one spoon), and old furniture...but the price was one of the more affordable places in the area. You get what you pay for.

It is not bad considering the locations but it could be better on cleaniness and the amenities part.

Nice location but uncomfortable in summer

Location was great in a beautiful neighborhood. The apartment was very quiet being within a courtyard. The apartments really lack air circulation and light as the only way to get either in the apartment was to leave the front door open which in the summer isn't ideal with the bugs but was way too hot. Windows in bedroom are hard to open as the beds block them.

As Advertised / Really Comfy

The garden apartments were as advertised. Very clean with some supplies provided. The staff communicated well and were very responsive.

Emplacement idéal. Commodités correctes. Pas d'aération / tres tres chaud a l'intérieur.

Very bad experience :(

Really don’t recommend!!! I stayed there with 3 of my friends, On our first night there we got robbed! We were sleeping and some one got in to our apartment, opened the safe, stole all our money and phones. The owner didn’t even care and nothing was Done from his side to assist us. We come every year to Amsterdam but something like that never happened. They opened the door and the safe while we were sleeping. Very terrifying experience.

Cozy and quirky

The apartment is very cozy and quirky. The bathroom had a slight smell (they came to fix it, but it came back), and the entrance could use some remodeling. However, I would recommend it for a family traveling together.

Private and quiet during 3 day stay. Good facilities especially shower.

Nice Location

The hotel is in a great location, walking distance from many restaurants, coffee shops and public transportation. The check in location and the apartment were a few blocks a part which made checking in with luggage a bit of a hassle. Check out is easier since you can just leave the keys on the table. Our biggest complaint is the smell from the bathroom, our bathroom smelled like a porta potty on a hot summer day. When we walked all the way back to the main hotel the woman stated that they were sold out the next day so we could not change our room. Someone came to assess the issue and just dumped some chemicals in our bathroom, it masked the smell for the first night but the smell returned. Also the room was dusty with some spider webs. Our TV didn't work and they were able to fix it the next day. Over all we were satisfied with the location of the apartment but nothing else. I would not recommend staying here.

The apartment is not big and there where a lot of noisy neighbors, and picking up the keys at a different location was a pain when you have luggage

Just right in size for a family of four, well designed and comfortable within walking distance of main tourist areas of Amsterdam. Perhaps more cooking items (varied pans, oil, sugar, salt, cleaning surface cloth, etc) would be ideal

Nice location & clean- very warm & stuffy.

The apartment was in Avery good location-approximately 10 minutes walk from the centre of town. The keys have to be picked up at a different address (3 min walk away) as advertised within the booking confirmation. The apartment was spotless and had just about enough room for 2 x adults and 2 x teenage children. The stairs up to each bedroom were extremely steep and would be a serious worry for any parent with young children. In addition the shower drained very slowly so the wet room/bathroom easily flooded. The best advice though is to not book these apartments in the summer-as others have said, they are unbearably hot and no windows open. Our apartment was very very warm in late October with the air temp about 10C.

We had a nice stay at the Allure Garden Hotel Apartment. Even though we arrived late it was no problem to get the keys and the staff was really friendly. The apartment was in a good condition and surrounded by a nice neighbourhood ! 10 min walk from the city centre. We would book the apartments again :)

I would stay again

The area is very safe. The tram is only a few blocks away. The space is a bit tight but its modern and clean at check in. The only con is that it does not get cleaned on a daily basis.

Um pouco sujo e não tão bem localizado

O apartamento foi bom para 3 pessoas e um bebê. No entanto, havia até bituca de cigarro no sofá cama e o aquecedor de ambiente do banheiro não estava funcionando. A localização também não é das melhores para Amsterdã. Mas o tamanho do apartamento, as instalações, as camas, o banheiro, eram muito bons.

Cosy apartment but l bit noisy on first night and would benefit from instructions in the apartment, TV which is properly tuned in and air con.

Small apartment, noisy and very hot (May 2018)

First the good bits: ok location, fairly quiet area and only a few mins walk to the zoo. Easy enough to get trams to all the main parts of Amsterdam. It's clean and modern with modern appliances in the kitchen area. Now the not so good bits: I know it sates the apartment is compact but it really is very small. The very steep steps make it difficult to get bags or suitcases upstairs and when we stayed the weather was very warm which meant the apartment was boiling hot. There is no aircon in the one we stayed in. We opened the windows (as much as was possible, which wasn't much as the bed is in the way) at night but the apartments across the courtyard have aircon and the expelled air blows out directly across and is very noisy, which means you then have to close the windows and get even hotter. The caretaker guy said he would ask the residents to turn it off at night but don't think he did. We stayed here with children and they struggled to get to sleep at night as there is a fair bit of noise from people sitting outside drinking and smoking. It is a mixture of people that stay here and one night the apartment next to us appeared to have invited about half a dozen people round for drinks/smokes. The entrance from the road is easy to miss but if you look for the building site nextdoor, you will find it. This didn't cause too much disturbance by the way. Wouldn't stay here again, mainly due to noise levels at night and no ability to cool the place down.

Cosy accommodation in a brilliant location

The accommodation was cosy, ideally suited to the four of us stopping there and the location was ideal as it was a short walk into the centre of Amsterdam. The seating area outside was a lovely addition, but could perhaps do with a couple more chairs. The only down side was the lack of air conditioning as the bedroom area on the mezzanine level got quite warm. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful throughout and have responded to and questions quickly and clearly. I would definitely recommend.

Not suitable if you like an early night.

The appartment itself is attractive, quite spacious, with a glass roof under trees. There is everything needed in it, and I was brough an extra duvet when I requested one. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. However, people in the surrounding appartment were noisy and even when they tried to be quiet we could hear every word from the inner yeard, which is pleasantly designed for conviviality, so residents do use it to drink and smoke and talk. One day We were woken up before dawn by drunk residents banging and shouting just ourside our door .What I thought would be a quiet place for older people turned out to be used by large groups of noisy youg men . However they were gone on our last night and we did sleep , inspite of The bright EXIT sign over the door which keeps the room in almost daylight . The bed was confortable, but the bedding didn't look or smell very fresh, the heating was perfect, the room kept at all time at a pleasant temperature. Not quite the standard I had expected.

Small but perfect location

Small living space but bigger than a family hotel room. TV was only analogue but Netflix was HD. Location pleasant easy access to central Amsterdam within 10 15 min. Would recommend .

Gutes Hotel in der Stadtgegend

Man kann alles zu Fuß erreichen und hat alles um sich. Die Lage ist der komfortabel. Das Zimmer ist sehr bescheiden aber schön und reicht perfekt für einen kuerzen Aufenthalt.

Amazing hotel.

Had a problem paying the deposit when first arriving as my card got declined numerous time as I didn’t let them know I was in Amsterdam so they thought was fraud. Women as the desk couldn’t have been anymore helpful and understanding. Room was absolute stunning, not what I was expecting, couldn’t doubt the staff or the hotel at all. Highly recommend!!

Lovely stay

Lovely stay in this apartment. The apartment itself was clean and warm, and secure access to end the apartment complex. The apartment was quiet and very comfortable. There isn't much storage space, but that was not a problem for a short stay. The location was convenient, with easy access to trams and a short walk to Rembrandt Square. It is about a 30min walk to the Central Station. This is not a touristy area, but there are restaurants and bars within a 5-10min walk, and a great bagel place close by for breakfast (also cooking facilities in the apartment). The staff at check in were friendly and helpful.

Lovely neighbourhood away from the crowds

There is no on site check in so you have to go first to the Hotel Allure to get your keys. It's about 10 mins walk. The hotel staff were very nice and most helpful. The apartment itself is on quiet residential street near one of the canals and the area is lovely. Away from the noise and biz of central I found it peaceful and realaxing. There is a good supermarket not too far away and a nice selections of cafes and restaurants a few minutes walk from the apartment. A local coffeeshop nearby has friendly staff and is very quiet. I really liked the apartment as it was clean and comfortable. The only negative thing I can say is that it's pretty small and the bathroom/showeroom is tiny. Apart from that I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would definitely stay again.

Accommodation was poor, apartment was dirty and for the price I paid it was well below what I would have expected. It was a reasonable size and not too far from the main tourist attractions butI would not stay here again due to the filthy conditions

Nice location, compact loft but windows don't open

The apartment was in a great location -- close to the Amstel River and the "girdle" of canals in the center of the city and easily accessible by public transit (Metro and tram). We had 4 people in a loft apartment during the summer. My biggest complaint was that none of the windows opened, so the only way to cool off the place was to open the front door (although they did provide a fan.) The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was nicely equipped for a small space. The Apartment Manager was really nice as well.

Apartment style in quiet neighborhood

There were definite positives and negatives about our stay in this apartment style hotel in Amsterdam. The location was a quiet neighborhood with short walks to metro stops, grocery and coffee shops. The complex is about a 5 min or so walk from the hotel where you check in. Check in was pleasant, however the staff that takes care of on sight issues is not quite as friendly. We stayed in the Daisy building of apartments, which open into a small courtyard linked to all the Plantage apartments available. The courtyard itself is cute, set up with many small tables. The unit itself was in good shape, however we were unaware that there was no AC. With the high temps during our stay, we were quite miserable unfortunately. There are no opening windows for ventilation (only the front door), only skylights with shades, and the shade over our bed was missing. So not only could we not get a breeze, but the sun shown in all day. We had to leave the door open to try and keep the place as tolerable as possible, but during our stay loud groups of younger customers were making use of the courtyard for partying and smoking a lot, so it was difficult. The place was cute and maintained well, if our stay would've been during cooler temps I feel we would've enjoyed it much more. Beds were decent, bathroom large, small efficient kitchen...very steep narrow stairs to loft beds above. We would recommend for a quiet neighborhood feel, just not during hot weather!!!

Bon hôtel agréable et à 1,5km du centre ville ! Personnel Super ! La maisonnette est bien équipée mais point négatif la climatisation ne marchait pas, assez contraignant avec les pics de températures ! Rapport qualité/prix plutot correct !

Wir haben für insgesamt 4 Nächte ein Apartment gebucht. Leider hatte es in dem uns zugewiesenen im Durchschnitt 28°C, keine Fenster (Apartment Bamboo 1). Und das bei Regenwetter und 15°C Außentemperatur. Der Grund dafür konnte angeblich nicht gefunden werden (Heizung war aus). Ach auf eindringliches Drängen haben wir den Manager nie zu Gesicht bekommen und erst nach 2 üblen Nächten bei 28°C wurde uns ein anderes Apartment gegeben. Hier bestand das Problem dann nicht.

Nära till centrum, nära till kommunikationer

Ett fint hotell, lite dålig städning, urdålig ventilation i rummet, ej öppningsbara fönster. Men jättebra lokation, nära till tramstation, bara några stop till centrum med tram. Lungn och fin område.

Comfortable apartment in friendly neighborhood

Although not luxurious, the apartment was comfortable and met our needs. However, there is no way to close off the 2 bedrooms from the living room/kitchen. So if anyone is talking or cooking or watching tv, the people in the bedrooms can hear and not sleep. The neighborhood is full of good places to eat and easy to get to trams to anywhere in Amsterdam. If traveling with children, the zoo and a park are very nearby.
