Amaroo Holiday Park

Designated smoking areas are great but ashtrays need emptying. Restaurant wasn’t open and I was not told there was a cafe otherwise I would definitely have gone there. Room was clean but needed a little care. Looked a bit tired. Pool closed at 7pm. Why? Tv didn’t work and there wasn’t any instructions on use. More information would be helpful in the welcome pack. Loved the location and staff were friendly

Absolute Jem in the heart of cowes! Can’t get a better location with a more friendly staff or management. Perfect for families, great bbq facilities and cute pool for the kids. Coles is 2 minutes WALK! Designated parking for each cabin.

We stayed two nights at an Ensuite Cabin. The cabin was tidy and provided everything we needed for our short stay. The beach and restaurants are around the corner.

The Park Manager was very helpful to enable our stay was positive

Easy walk to shops, restaurants & the Esplanade. Accommodation was very clean & had all we needed for our 1 night stay.

Amaroo is perfect for my family of 5, with child and teenagers. It is clean, comfortable and even though we had to check-in late, we were given clear instructions on how to access our unit. Had trouble w starting fire on stove, but a staff came in to help even though it was after 8pm. Really appreciate the help! Will return. :)

Great cabin with all facilities

The little cabin we had was nice, clean and had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. It is a 10 min walk into Cowes for lots of dining and drinking options. There is a Cole’s round the corner too for groceries. The game room wasn’t much use as the pool table was missing most of the balls and the ping pong table had seen better days.

Safe and convenient location

Highly recommended! Conveniently located close to a cafe, coles and various other shops. The room was very clean and had the basic necessity. Staff is warm amd helpful. The property is well maintained and clean throughout. We enjoyed our stay. I would definitely rebook when we visit Phillip Island.

Fabulous stay. Everything was in immaculate condition & staff was extremely friendly & accomodating . Excellent location as within walking distance to centre. Also great breakfast onsite at Mon Dieu.

Bungalow dans un camping très calme. Bien équipé et impeccable mais exigu. Le bungalow est divisé en 2 appartements. Nous n'avions pas de voisins, nous ne pouvons donc pas nous prononcer sur l'isolation. Il y a un supermarché Coles à 200 m à pied. Centre ville et bord de mer à 10 mn à pied.

Et forfærdeligt ophold. En plastik plade der natten lang hamrer mod bygningen og holder folk vågne. Et brusebad hvor vandet ender alle andre steder end på personen, der tager brusebadet. Varmt / koldt vand delen fungerer heller ikke - enten brænder man sig - ellers er vandet iskoldt. En lille hytte hvor taget er så tyndt, at bare en fugl sætter sig på taget kan det høres tydeligt - overalt. Personalet går tidligt hjem - kl. 16 - og derefter er der self indtjekning - det går nok, men her er det virkelig besværligt. Vi mindes ikke nogensinde at ha overnattet så dårligt et sted

Staff where amazing. Very friendly and accomidating. located a short walking distance to shoppimg centers, restraunts and beach. On campus laundry for guests with washer and dryer and clothline - especially convientiant when totties keep wetting themselves

Friendly staffs and everything pretty close. Close to Coles with you want to grab anything and just make at your place or if you want to have your meal in town everything’s is pretty close and walk distance.

Quiet location but 5 minute walk to everything

Very clean but expensive considering no facilities. The pool was closed and the games room was locked with no one able to advise a code to use. Won't be coming back.

The cleanliness and there was everything u needed in the kitchen and bathroom. The only thing I didn't like was the couch, the springs under neath made it very uncomfortable so when u sit u would slide into middle. And I think the tv was in the wrong spot. Other than that it was perfect

Great cabins, close to the main shops & overall very good location. Really nice staff & great communication. Stayed for 7 nights and in that time had the towels replenished once. It would have been good to have towels, toilet paper, tea etc replenished every couple of days, and a sweep of the floors done once would have been good. I appreciate it’s a self contained unit but felt we got less value for staying a longer period. Otherwise everything about our stay was spot on! Would recommend

Our stay was delightful. The unit was as described clean and very functional. The inclusion of some cutlery, plates, glad wrap and washing up clothes etc was a very nice extra. Staff were very helpful, park was lovely and clean and quiet. Would highly recommend this park to everyone.

Small camp site well located, close to shops but still quiet.

We stayed 2 nights in one of the relatively new Studio Villas. Very comfy and well appointed. Park is ideally located close to shops etc. Very good Korean dining next door. Overall a great place to stay.

I liked the convenient location as it was close to the towm Centre. The staff were friendly enough and they offered a nice Korean restaurant on location. There wasn't clear communication on the room service as if we ought to get our own towels and things like bin liners when the original ones needed replacing. Overall the accommodation was good.

Nice service. The receptionist was eager to introduce activities for tourists like me.

Self contained room which was great value within walking distance to cowes restaurants and shops. Had everything you need to cook meals in the room and also had a camp kitchen area for bbq. We arrived really late on a cold night to a preheated room with lights on. This was so appreciated!! Thanks for a great stay

It was very good only 1 or 2 things that could be improved like they have a picture of a restaurant on the map but it is not in use and if the managers could let the people know there are no water restrictions as there are timers in the shared accomodation.

The park is very quiet and clean. We were accommodated when we asked about trailer parking. The park is very close to supermarkets and the main street.

Everything was great , staff were very friendly and helpful The only thing I wasn't happy with was the shower, it was alittle cramped.

The homestead felt like home, the bedroom was large as was the lounge and kitchen

Front desk Lady was very helpful, friendly and polite, when I asked her about the latest time to arrive penguins parade, she also gave me hints where to stand to get the best spot to see the penguins coming back from sea, she also have upgraded me to a standard room which have my own bathroom , I am so happy what she has offered, this holiday park is really top value, also the room is very clean as well. Thank you so much again the front desk lady.

The studio cabin was quite sufficient but really made it so that I never want to visit Phillip Island again. I don't mind small but what is the point of travelling anywhere to have a break, in our case, we took the scenic route back to Melbourne from the Gold Coast.... if one can't do something after 8 pm?! The town Cowes only had cafes, supermarkets open after 8 pm and that meant that it was a pain that the pool and the game room was closed after 8 pm. Netflix also did not work. We hooked up the computer and fortunately had an HDMI cord to use our own Netflix. So we watched a movie before going to sleep and getting up early to travel back to Melbourne. But we could have watched Netflix at home. The holiday park is sufficient for most people, I guess those with kids who tire themselves out during the day, but not those who need a little more after 8 pm. It is walking distance to some nice cafes, restaurants and the beach. This is a stopover and sleeping cabin only for the sophisticated traveller on a budget.

Good location, friendly staff and clean room

Service counter lady is friendly and bothers to explain attractions in Phillip Island unlike many that we met in other hotels and holiday parks. Room is small but clean. A short walk to Coles supermarket and the beach. Short drive to penguin parade and koala conservation centre.

The welcome at the reception desk was first rate, very warm and enthusiastic. The villa was excellent with everything we needed supplied and all furnished to a high quality. Importantly the beds were very comfortable and lovely crisp linen. Unfortunately we only had one night here, and would have lived to stay longer and explore the surrounding area more. Would definitely return.

Better than I expected

Everything is excellent, specially the nice hospitality of your staff, and the welcome fruit on front desk! My booking was a 2 bedroom Superior Queen Villa, actually a modern style cabin. It is a very new and clean villa, just the bedroom are too tiny and no space for baggage storing and using. The kitchen is especially excellent, well equipped, good for family cooking! Toilet and bathroom are clean and well decorated! Living and dining area are enough spacious, parking is convenient, very closed to town center, a big Coles next to it, lots of restaurant nearby.

Great Location. Walking distance to all restuarants and shops. Managers were very pleasant and helpful. Stayed in Deluxe King Villa. Very dusty and kitchen items need to be improved. No Pasta Drainer No coffee sugar Overall all good

Everything we needed close walk to beach, shops.

The studio we stayed in had everything we needed very neat and tidy within walking distance to shops and a nice walk to the beach I was very impressed and will be coming back soon with the rest of the family.
