We were there for a hospital visit, which was only 5 minutes away. Our accommodation was clean, furniture was a little dated but certainly OK. Very satisfied and would stay again.

Stay was pretty good. Rooms weren't that clean and the drains stunk but staff did give us a diffuser to drown out the smell.. House keeping staff were nice. And they let us check out at 12... If bedding was cleaner I wouldn't have a problem staying therw again

The staff prior to and on check in were good and easy to deal with. The room was a disgrace. The carpets look filthy & are stained. The leather (gross) couch is extremely worn and the surface flaking off. This room is for 4 people but there are only 3 seats in front of the tv. There is limited kitchenware for food preparation. I am unsure if the apartment was actually cleaned as there was hair all over the balcony, there were used dirty tissues between the bedside table and the bed in the smaller bedroom. We were not provided the correct amount of towels in the room. When one of our party when down to ask they were accused of not looking and had the customer service person talking to them while eating their breakfast and with a mouthful of food and blaming the house keeping staff. We also didn't hear from the house keeping staff our entire stay nor did they ever provide housekeeping while we were out, even after reporting the filth found in the room. There was also no apology for this or attempt to fix/clean it. They advertise that there is daily housekeeping. There was a concern with payment at checkin. We were told the best way is to just book direct & also it's the cheapest. We booked WOTIF because it stated QB. Their website & other booking sites state DB beds We actually had more like 1 DB which was comfy and one KG which was hard as a rock. It was also cheaper through WOTIF. We would not stay here again. Poor impression of G/stone for our out of town guests.

Disappointed in this property. Furniture was in poor condition (worn down), carpets were dirty and bathroom fixtures in poor condition. Shower worked well though. Was supposed to receive code to access property after hours and did not. Without phone service, we had to beg a passerby stranger to use their mobile

Check in was quick and easy. The staff were very welcoming.

The property was not well stocked. We had no dish cloth or any way to wash dishes or clean kitchen. No oven mitts, had to use a bathroom towel. The desk lamp was broken and sagging down. The patio had obviously not been cleaned and had a thick layer of soot on all the patio furniture. Hot tub was cold. Not great value for price unfortunately.

Spacious and conveniently located. Had everything we needed, was clean, and comfortable.

New year visit

An email was sent to us but as we had already left home we did not receive it and consequently did not know where to get the keys from. Luckily there was someone else getting their keys and I asked if there was one for Gowman and they said yes. The bottom of the shower curtains were dirty and there were dirt spots on the carpet. The room was spacious and so we had plenty of room to move around. The bed was comfortable.

The Property was in a great location to the main street and restaurants etc. Booking was easy online with Wot-if and check in was very professional. Unit was the two bedroom style and very clean and tidy. :}

What a fantastic large apartment. Better than expected.

So disappointed with our stay here. We arrived on a Sunday and the front desk was closed. We called to get access to the lock box to get our cards. The unit was large which was the only good thing about it. First of all, it smelled horribly. It was SO bad we had to open all window. Secondly, the place was not clean. There was gunk on the kitchen appliances, the bin in the toilet was rusted and mouldy, carpets were soiled in some areas and the window coverings had splashes of something (god knows what) all over them. We immediately called down to the office and was left on hold for almost 10 minutes (even though they answered right away when we first arrived). We tried again with no luck. I sent them an email letting them know we were not happy with our room and we’re hoping to get a different suit, but received no reply. Because we were just passing through and just needed a place to sleep for the night we toughed it out. I would definitely NOT recommend this place. The smell lingered in our luggage for days. Quite disgusting. For the price we paid, we definitely felt ripped off. Honestly, the worst accommodations I’ve ever stayed at. No exaggeration. I would NOT recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Very Good quality unit, quiet and well maintained

Generally good but requires maintenance. Entry door had electronic key removed and required manual key. Balcony door had no latch - would have been an issue with younger children. Bathroom door did not latch or lock had to place luggage behind door so that our teenage daughters had some privacy.

The property is located within walking distance to the CBD of Gladstone, Dining is within the CBD. Property was clean and presentable

modern rooms and everything close by

I understand it was a public holiday but some personal engagement would have been nice. $500 for two nights and we didn’t see or speak to anyone from the property. That said, the apartment itself was faultless, very clean and comfortable. We will come back and recommend.

Great clean place and plenty of room for 6

Could do with a few updates like the Bins and toilet brushes were rusting and the showers need to be cleaned in the bases properly. Bottle open for the kitchen and fill the ice tray when doing the room service. Additional pilow for the main bed as well would have been better than the one.

Family of Four staying for only one night. 2 Bed apartment was ideal and staff at reception were really helpful with advice for eating dinner. They even offered to drive us to the closest supermarket. Recommended

The managers are more than helpful. Due to unpredictable weather we had to change the dates twice, we are very lucky to have find a place that agree to accommodate us. Thank you.

After check in we went to our room when we walked in the stench made us walk out again and complain,long story short the rubbish bin had not been emptied in 16 days.Moved to another room but was very unclean and dirty.

The layout of the apartment was spacious and the location was central to the main Street. The apartment was dirty and covered in dust on every surface. It was in need of a proper clean. The skirting boards were covered in dust, the dishwasher, washing machine and dryer all had ingrained dirt.The carpets were very old and stained. We had to ask for someone to come and vacuum the carpet and floors as it looked like they hadn’t been cleaned prior to our arrival. The light in the kitchen didn’t work but was fixed promptly once we let reception know. The walls were all marked and in need of a paint job. The fans were covered in dust. The bathrooms both had dust stains on the floor. The furniture had seen better days. All in all the apartment definitely needs some TLC. The pool was green and unusable. The carpets in the hallways were stained and dirty. When we arrived we were given a room and when we opened the door we were both shocked as it had not been cleaned and there was dirty linen on the floor and the apartment had not been cleaned. We went back to reception and were offered another room. I will say the man at the front desk was very accomodating and helpful. The motel is let down in its current state by bad house cleaning and is in desperate need of a revamp.

Great place to stay very clean & comfortable & good location.

Very disappointing!!! Compared to the photos on Lastminute.com the place is so old the carpet had stains everywhere there was peanut shells on the floor and under the lounge. Going off the photos when we booked we there was a nice view off the balcony, our view was of the driveway and we looked directly into the house next door so we had to keep the curtains closed so they couldn’t just sit there and watch what we were doing.we actually decided after being there for about 30minutes that we would just stay one night and keep driving. We asked the lady on the counter if there was any chance of a refund but she said it’s out of her hands as it’s through Expedia which I guess is fine we should have just booked one night. Over all very disappointing would never stay again or tell anyone to stay there.

Easy check in after hours, fantastic location, great rooms

Easy access to the property (as we were arriving late Sunday afternoon). Easy check out. Great location, easy walk down to the harbour.

When we arrived in our room, it felt like I was getting bitten, I then at times could see little bugs flying around. That night we could feel bites and the next morning we were covered in bites. The other issue that we had was that our bed sheets smelled like deep heat, I am hoping that there were clean sheets on our bed. Nice clean rooms and close and convenient location

The room was in need of a good clean, filthy carpet, worn almost ripped couch and I’m not sure the sheets were clean. The bed wasn’t made properly, no sheet on the bottom half of the mattress.

Unpleasant Experience Again

We traveled far and arrived at the hotel tired. Check in were the worst I ever experienced in 30 years. I had to provide credit card details AGAIN and my drivers license, I was expected to download the new government COVID app without glasses or my apple password handy, and fill out the 'new' government COVID forms online - which are pages and pages of nonsense to read through. I expect a way better check in for the price we paid! At least prepare the guests on what will await them at check in. Entering the room was another disappointment since the carpet throughout the room is stained and unsightly. Wednesday morning our bed sheets were just loosely thrown over the bed, not tucked in nor were our towels changed, and the Thursday morning the bed sheets were again just thrown over the bed loosely and not tucked in, and towels weren't replaced. During our stay we pulled the armchair away from the sofa and discovered an empty Corona bottle and a blue M&M (photo attached). On our exit we left the room tidy, thrown out our bin and washed all the dishes - more than what the hotel staff did during our stay. During the following year we expect to be traveling to Gladstone twice a month and expect to stay over on average 96 nights a year but unfortunately we stayed at this hotel before in 2017 and had a similar experience, therefore won't make a similar mistake again nor will our company and the company my husband work for book anyone in at the Gladstone Central Plaza.

2 bedroom apartment spaciuos room beds super comfortable. Only downside spa is a bad condtion looks green didnt use and the bbq was locked as being a public holiday no staff on to be able to unlock. Other then that we had a great stay

The room carpet is terrible dirty. Room is not clean every day.

GCP contacted us the day before our stay asking for a rough checkin time. When we told them we would be there way before the normal 2pm they advised us to call in when we got there and if our room was available we could checkin early. This was great as we didn't have to spend time waiting around. The apartment was clean, milk and cold water were in the fridge ready for us and reception were very helpful.

Adequate accommodation without being amazing. The 2 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms and a kitchen was adequate in every way without being amazing. Nothing to complain about and would stay here again if I need a place centrally located for a reasonable price without any luxuries or view.

Was awesome service & a nice place fir myself and family to stay & great fur the kids they loved it.

Unfortunately our allocated room had not been cleaned at all- unmade beds and towels on the floor. We were assigned a new room however it was far from apologetic. This is a tired hotel- could do with a good scrub!

Short Stay

1 night in the 2 bed and 2 bath. Hotel details say the reception operated until 7pm but when we arrived shortly after 6pm the front door was locked and receiption closed. However, when I called the number as directed for after-hours check-in the process was fairly simple and staff very helpful. Once we got to our room the door to the second bed and bath was locked and so on the phone to after-hours reception again. He was back on site in no time and sorted that out for us. Nothing special about the rooms, it was a place to sleep for the night. The carpets are badly stained and in a bad way, the room also had a really strong bleach smell that lingered for most the time we were there. We bought take-out (close to restaurants) to eat and found the cutlery and plates weren't cleaned well from the previous tennats. The card reader on the door was quite temperamental, had to tap the card in the sweet spot before it let you in - just had to keep trying.

Ideally located close to the Centre of Gladstone but not too close. Room spacious. Would have been helpful if both my partner and I had double pillows each as the ones which were provide were a little too thin. Room could have done with being a little cleaner as there were toe nails around the main living room

Things in the room were broken like the alarm clock and and desk light, and down by the pool the toilet build was rusty and broken with a big chunk of rusty metal sticking out and i was worried my kids would get cut by it. We ended up leaving a day early.

Good central location. Comprehensive briefing from reception about facilities etc. Carpark roof clearance looked pretty tight for larger vehicles. Floorcoverings in rooms tired

Room wasnt very clean and is a bit run down. Foxtel TV had majority of channels unavailable. Location was good.

Ok the property was fine as a rep I was only after a one night stop. But I would poss not book again as this property only had one bedroom units and there was no tv in the bedroom. Maybe I am a little different but I suspect not in saying after a full day of sales calls I li,e nothing better at nite than to;relax on my bed and watch tv. This was not possible at this property

Wifi signal wasn't the best. Aircon in the loungeroom was a bit noisy, but the bedrrom aircon was quiet so no issues sleeping. Room was modern, kitchen area very clean and useful. Relaxing atmosphere

Great Choice in Gladstone.

Excellent choice. Very comfortable and we'll appointed apartment. One nice touch to note they have ALL Fox Sports channels available in the room which is very unusual. Would definitely stay here again next time I am in Gladstone.

Close to everything. Quiet had everything we needed for our stay

Older property. Convenient location. Starting to look a little tired. Fridge was not working when we arrived. An attempt was made to fix it, but this was to no avail. Pricing definitely on the high end compared to similar properties in Gladstone.

The overall apartment was great. Beds weee super comfy. Great wifi. Just a suggestion that the cleaners checknthe fridge before leaving as the previous occupants left items in there.

Our three bedroom apartment was perfect for us six adults and everything we needed was available. Fantastic facilities available for use also - pool, bbq and entertaining area. Just perfect.

Check in was fast and receptionist was lovely! Apartment was very spacious and airy! Clean bathrooms and comfortable beds! Great location. Wifi was ok. Only downfall was that the kitchen floors and carpets looked and felt dirty. They need a good clean!

We were pleasantly surprised with our stay and ended up staying there on our trip back again. Rooms are very spacious and equipped with all that you need. Price was also fairly reasonable. Would definitely stay there again if we visisted Gladstone.

Room was good but let down by a few failures

Nice room with good a/c and beds. Unfortunately not enough cutlery for the four of us. Dishes and cutlery were dirty. Extraction Fan in kitchen was not working.Washing machine was hooked up incorrectly (hot was cold and cold was hot - I had to swap the hoses over). Great place but would be better if the small details were good.
