Good pool. Good bathroom. Other than that unit was dirty, everything was sticky and bugs everywhere inside, Old and dated with rusted fridge, everything way past it's used by date. Also a long way from dining options.

It was very clean, Bed not comfortable & awful pillows. No front window blinds and outlook both front & back awful. Manager was very nice.

Easy access to the apartment with good sized parking areas. Bathroom is on the older side and could do with retiling around the shower. Bedroom was neat with clean sheets, kitchen and lounge was good size for two people and able to cook decent meals in. Overall a good stay.

My friend and I were just looking for somewhere to lay our heads on a girls shopping trip. It was a little frustrating to find the 2nd bedroom locked, however they came and opened it up for us within about 30 mins. We also had some bulbs replaced in the lamps, with no hesitation at all. It was clean and tidy, and good value for money, however the beds were not as comfy as we had hoped.

Unit was comfortable and clean. We didn’t like having an upstairs unit though. Lighting at top of stairs wasn’t on.

The Apartment was adequate but tired and in need of updating. Some spots hadn't been cleaned properly eg cobwebs round the window in the bathroom and door bottoms. We had to kill roaches in the bathroom and kitchen. This was compensated for by the warm welcome, the great location and the especially helpful manager.

Extremely spacious 2 bedroom apartment with a large balcony, full kitchen and living area. Very deceiving from the outside as it looks like a tiny motel room but inside it's amazing. Quiet area.

A full roll of toilet would of be great to start with not less than a 1/4 of roll

Didnt like the

The stay was alright. But kitchen intensials was dirty. Once the toiletpaper, laundry liquid, washing up detergent was empty. You HAVE to buy your own. The lady was at our door telling us fo departure right on 10.00am and i DIDNT see her do it anyone else on there stay.

This property is in a convenient location. Roomy, great kitchen. Bigger pillows would be a bonus. Bed was comfortable but pillows too flat.

Our stay was ok. Rooms are tired. Beds were old and uncomfortable. Couch was dirty. Had enough cooking facilities. Kids went in the pool then had a shower so their towels were saturated, I asked for another couple of towels and was told that because it was a short stay (2 nights) and we booked through EXPEDIA she couldn't give us any as it would cost them money. We could pay $30 for more, hire pool towels or wash the ones we had and pay for the washing machine and dryer.

Nice large room,clean,nice balcony, good bathroom and kitchen.

It had been renovated, the bedding was excellent, it was very clean, and was very quiet.

We thoroughly enjoyed everything

Unfortunately our unit was next to Reception area which affected the privacy and quiet.

A great part of the world but this is not a place I would recommend to stay while visiting. The property is very run down & in need of some maintenance & modernisation. Our room was not cleaned & frankly unhygienic considering the things we found on the floors. The bathroom was filthy & with no extraction fan, which contributed to the state of the walls. Kitchen is not a full kitchen & there were no teatowels, very limited dish cleaning utilities (cleaning up was not important here) or cookware. We were sent to the BBQ area to cook our food, which was okay, but not very clean either. Only upside. The kids enjoyed the pool. Unfortunately we didn't enjoy our visit to this establishment.

Room is advertised as self contained but didn't have an oven. Only 1 bedroom was air conditioned. Price for room was high considering condition & location

what I like most here is that kids can stay free..close enough to the beach and self contained.

Spacious, clean, big fridge with freezer, nice and quiet.

Adequate accommodation for sleeping and preparing basic meals. Had most of what you need. Our room had no outlook so not somewhere to hangout and enjoy the environment. Although it is priced accordingly. The grounds and common areas, laundry etc could do with some TLC. It was a bit noisy with some of the permanent residents starting noisy vehicles and stomping down the external stairs near our bedroom. The lighting in our particular room was terrible, particularly in the kitchen. Could do with a couple of additional central lights.

Whale watching stay at Hervey Bay

Had a good stay, units are in a very good location with very good restaurants near by. Couple of issues with the refrigerator being old and very noisy. And the tenant in the next unit could snore for Australia. Unit however was very clean and comfortable if basic.

Enjoyed the warm welcome and having a "feel at home" apartment as a base to enjoy a mini break at Hervey Bay.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, large apartment, huge veranda, very close to the beach. A wonderful home away from home. Gary was a great host.

Just a lovely property, great location, good amenities and friendly staff. Manager even allowed us to use his onsite parking so my hubby could put the boat in the under cover carpark...brilliant!

Recommend. One bedroom apartment - kitchen includes all you need for a long (and short) stay.

Large rooms and a comfortable bed. The pool was clean and refreshing. The apartments are not five star by any means but provided reasonable value for the price we paid. Host was friendly and helpful.

Great place to stay nice and comfortable very clean only couple of disappointing things were it was a smoking but in the ashtray and the milk they leave in the fridge was out of date by month.

The unit had everything you need, clean and comfortable tbe only negative was the hot water would come and go when having a shower.

Location was great being one block from the beach and esplanade. Short walk to esplanade, cafes, restaurants, food stores and other retail shops. Short drive to larger shopping centres and more restaurants if required. Gary and Sue were very helpful with directions on whale watching and places to visit in the area. They couldn't have be more helpful to us. The apartment we stayed in was great, had been refurbished recently and could be either a one or two bedroom apartment. We chose the one bedroom, which meant the second bedroom could stay locked and we didn't have to pay any extra. What a great option for guests with larger families. The apartment had a full size fridge, gas cook top, microwave, deep sink with tea towel etc., plates, glasses, cups, cutlery and much more. The entertainment section had Foxtel, DVD player, CD player, TV and good WiFi. Plenty of double power points throughout, comfy lounge, also dining table and 4 chairs. A large patio area also with outdoor table and chairs off the lounge. We could not fault the apartment we stayed in, it was great and we would definitely stay there again, hopefully for a bit longer next time as we only stayed for 3 nights.

Paid $138 for a Sat night stay. It was clean, functional & fantastically located, just two blocks from the beach & near great cafes/surf club etc. wouldn’t holiday here, but perfect for an overnighter in transit. Older style with new parts eg bathroom sink/shower screen etc, so totally comfortable.

Liked the pool and proximity to the beach. The apartment had a nice kitchen and bedroom layout. All the needed items for a comfortable stay.

Foxtel had movies and sport channels to plus a place to sit and watch. Near to good restaurants.

Arrived early but our hosts were very accommodating. Pleasantly surprised at how spacious and and clean it was. Not far to shops or restaurants. We can’t wait to go back. Thank you Sue and Gary.

Somewhere to stay

The facilities were clean, but basic for a self contained apartment ( small, and no oven) . The mattress sagged in the middle and the pillows were terrible. The floating timber floor in the bedroom bowed, and creaked when walked on. The shower was impossible to get to an acceptable temperature, the instant gas was either too hot or too cold (mixer tap). The Foxtel and TV where okay, but it was impossible to get channel 9. I was told that channel 9 was not generally available in this region, but when staying in a subsequent apartment the next night, channel 9 was fine . There was a fee for using the laundry shared laundry, but in our subsequent apartments (cheaper price) there were a free washing machine and dryer in the apartment.

Apartment Hotel next to Beach

This a a really nice place to stay clean spacious and comfortable. We had a two bedroom apartment for two days. The complex layout was two blocks consisting of ground and first floor all with covered parking, each apartment is fully fitted with everything you could possibly need including a TV ,/satellite system. The location of the hotel is 5mins walking distance from the beach.

An excellent stay, loved the proximity to the beach (only 1.5 blocks)' the pool and having a full kitchen. Quiet and clean. Value for money.

A clean comfortable apartment in a quiet location.

We were in a ground floor one bedroom apartment and I couldn't fault the comfort, cleanliness and facilities in this apartment. There was no noise and it is an easy walk to the beachfront and some shops and eateries. It is also an easy drive to get to the main areas of Hervey Bay, supermarkets and other restaurants near the marina and jetty areas. I would stay here again for sure!

Warm, friendly welcome by Manager. One block back from the beach, the room on the first floor was clean and comfortable, with a good balcony. Although you could hear some comings and goings of guests, it was a quieter location being off The Esplanade. No views, however that was reflected in the reasonable rates. While we didn't utilise it, there were booking facilities at the office for whale watching, tours, etc.

Motel nära stranden och gångavstånd till flera bra resturanger, liten pool på området.

The couple at the office were great, very helpful and good for advice on the area. Made my daughter and I feel really welcomed. Will definitely stay there again

Would not go back

The facility was unkept and the carpets in the room needed cleaning. The office hours are short and getting help after hours cost. There were lots of extra charges for things most hotels provide for free.

Quiet, clean and friendly

I was in Hervey Bay for work. Arlia Sands met all my criteria. The room was clean and quiet and one block from the Esplanade. The owners Sue and Garry were friendly and ready to assist when required. I would definitely stay again and would recommend it to others.
