Commendable accommodation

Amazing stay! The room was more than a room - more like a small house, complete with a kitchenette stocked with essentials, tea, coffee, and drinking water, and with a washing machine/dryer and laundry detergent. The space was immaculately clean, walkable, and has good AC. The staff was nothing short of helpful. Would absolutely recommend staying here.

Öncelikle iletisim konusunda oldukca ilgililer. Ev 1 de aile olarak konakladik olanaklar konusunda herhangi bir eksiklige rastlamadık. Temizlik konusunda oldukca yeterli ve mutfak donanımlarında tam anlamiyla hersey düşürülmüştü. Kaleici mevkisine yakin konumu oldukca keyifliydi. Oldukca guzel bir aniya ev sahipligi yaptilar. Ali bey ve tesisi icin tesekkurlerimizi sunuyoruz 🙏

Amazing stay

I can’t ask for any better hotel experience than the one we had in this hotel, first we got upgraded to the biggest house in the hotel 3 floors and a terrace without paying any extra, the house had all the facilities you wish to have , complete it hen with coffee machines, dishwasher, microwave,toaster, beautiful dining sets and cups, iron, extra winter bed covers ,washing machine and all the detergent needed, the house is very clean , organized, beautiful, Mr Ali was very welcoming and friendly,he made sure we had an extraordinary stay and so it was. The location is in the heart of the most important area in Marmaris city center, everything is a walking distance from the hotel.it was the best hotel I stayed in for awhile.I highly recommend it to everyone

Otopark sorun ama yine de çok keyif aldık

Odanın temizliğinden çok memnun kaldık. Otopark genel olarak bir sorun, otelin olduğu yere araç girmesi mümkün değil. Gelmeden önce Ali bey bilgileri paylaşıyor, otopark için yardım isterseniz mutlaka bilgilendirin. Barlar sokağına yakın olduğu için gürültü olabiliyor ama bizi etkilemedi. Kale tarafında evler birbirine çok yakın olduğundan biraz havasız olabiliyor ancak yine de biz genel olarak çok memnun kaldık

After a few hours at Oda 8, my spouse announced "this is my favorite hotel in all of Turkey". We have been living in Turkey for two years and have traveled all over the country, so we have many hotels to compare this one to and it absolutely comes out on top. We only booked Oda 8 for one night, as we were only going to Marmaris for a boating trip, but when we arrived we were so upset we weren't staying longer. Oda 8 is perfectly located, adorably decorated, and has every amenity you need during your stay. The manager, Ali, was kind, helpful, super communicative, and speaks excellent English. If you are going to Marmaris, don't stay anywhere else. We highly recommend this place.

We loved watching the sunset from our roof top patio. The apartment was massive and nice to host our friends who were also in town. Lovely quaint restaurants very close. Perfect!

Loved 8ODA. What a beautiful place to stay. Close to restaurants, marina, shopping and you can walk forever along the water. Ali was very accommodating and always happy. The rooms are very spacious and beautifully decorated. I would stay here again forsure.

Wonderful characterful traditional house in old Marmaris town with spectacular sea view terrace and charming manager. Only stayed one night before sailing charter. Wish it had been longer.

Very helpful and enthusiastic manager. Great location ( tip - it up some steps , easy to find once you realise) and the room we had was very spacious ( teenage daughter downstairs/ parents upstairs! and good wifi )

Charming little property set in the castle area surrounded by little restaurants and local craft shops. The cottage was very nicely decorated and furnished. I highly recommend this as a place to stay in Marmaris.

Çok iyi lokasyon, tertemiz, pırıl pırıl bir otel ve hizmet

You can’t park near the house. It’s hard carrying the baggage to the house. The decor is very nice. It’s near the shopping area.

Aile seyahatimizin sonunda daha önce hiç gitmediğimiz Marmaris’e de bir gün ayıralım demekle başladı her şey. İnternetten yaptığım araştırma esnasında rastladım bu güzel otele. Fotoğraflarına hayran kalmanın yanı sıra okuduğum güzel yorumlarla rezervasyonumuzu yaptık. Sonuç; otel fotoğraflardan çok daha güzel, kendinizi masal diyarında gibi hissediyorsunuz. İkramlar, aparatların dizaynı, temizlik, eşyalar her şey o kadar yüksek kalitede ki. Sadece bir gece konakladığımız tatilden bu kadar mutlu ayrılacağımızı düşünemezdim. Otel Marmaris Kalesi’nin hemen yanında. Merkez çarşı, restoranlar, yat limanı iki dk mesafede. Hiç araç kullanmadan Marmaris’in en merkezi yerlerine kolayca ulaşıyorsunuz. Otelin güzel konumu ve tüm güzelliklerinin yanı sıra Otel yetkilisi Ali Bey’in yardımseverliği, mekan ve gezi rotaları önerisi, müşterilerine olan ilgisi de bizleri oldukça mutlu etti. Marmaris’e yolum düştüğünde tercihim kesinlikle tekrar 8 Oda Boutique Otel olacak. Sadece yazın değil, kışın da tercih edilebilecek, çok şık, çok güzel bir otel. Kesinlikle tavsiye ediyorum.

Eski marmaris evleri deneyimi

Odalar çok güzeldi. Odaya hediye şarap gönderdiler, çok sevdik. Tam eski marmaris evleri. Tek kişilik yatak biraz sertti ve çok hareket ediyordu. Onun dışında çok memnun kaldık

Die Unterkunft ist sehr zentral gelegen. Die Unterkunft an sich ist mut viel Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet, die beiden Terassen sind traumhaft. Ali von der Gästebetreuung ist eunfach spitze, hat uns super Tipps gegeben und war auch immer für uns da. Er wollte immer, dass wir uns wohl fühlen und war sehe hilfsbereit. Als 4 köpfige Familie ist diese Suite perfekt, die Kinder haben ihre Betten im Erdgeschoss im Wohnzimmer, wir Eltern hatten uns Zimmer einmal die Treppe rauf, die Zimmer werden nicht durch Türen getrennt, sondern durch die Treppe. Das reicht aber vollkommen aus, um seine Ruhe zu haben. Einzige Kritik ist, dass die Santitäranlagen und die Betten schon sehr alt sind. Die Unterkunft muss bis auf die Küche einmal komplett renoviert werden.

Beautiful well equipped apartment in Marmaris. Very well situated, close to bar street (but not audible), and also close to the marina for boat trip depatures.

It is a beautiful boutique hotel in the middle of the old town with unique decoration. The view to the sea and boats is amazing. Good beds.

best place ever

Great place to stay - everything thought of - into detail! We stayed for one week and had a realy great and relaxed time;

The parking was dufficult to figure out since we drove in at night the first night. However we were able to call Ali and he showed us where we had to park a couple of blocks away.

Picturesque but impractical

Upon signing in the lovely manager Ali helped with my bags & showed me around, the apartments are very picturesque I booked the white antique house which doesn't have it's own terrace but has most of the shared courtyard..... Or so I thought after settling in & unpacking I decided to go sit in the courtyard which I was told was mostly mine. Throughout the days I stayed I was greeted by complete strangers in the courtyard that wanted pictures(this is the downfall of staying in such a picturesque apartment) I also had others who shared the courtyard on my side constantly which made my feel as if I couldn't use it. Unfortunately I was the only person staying for longer then 2-3 days (I stayed for 10 days) so there were new people always arriving most of which weren't quiet & respectful of others trying to have a relaxed holiday. The apartment itself was so impractical I couldn't use the kitchen as there were ants everywhere.. I ate out anyway but it was a problem even when making a coffee. I actually fell down the stairs during my 1st day due to the stairs & banister not being safe & secure, I ended up spraining my ankle quite badly which meant I wasn't able to walk around like I'm used too. The only good thing about these apartments was the location, very central & they were furnished to a high standard but unfortunately it doesn't make up for all the downfalls I experienced while here & definitely not worth the money just for the location.

Beautiful property, beautiful people.

Operators were delightful. Two different men, both more than hospitable, nothing too much trouble. Fun place to stay with everything you could need - we would definitely stay here again. They even gave us chocolates and wine - why doesn't everyone do this? :-)

Charming Place

This has to be the most charming place I've ever stayed at. Get several couples to rent the place.

Uncomfortable experience

The suite we got hand a bug problem. Our towels were not being properly replaced. The access to the hotel was difficult. The service was not up to the expectation of what pictures and reviews we came across.

Excellent location, close to shops, bars and restaurants. Staff pleasant. Ali particularly helpful. No hesitation to recommend to able bodied people as many steps.

A wonderful place in a fantastic location with a warm welcome.

The Best Stay in our 2 weeks in Turkey

Ali and the staff provided excellent service. A truly wonderful experience in the old town of Marmaris. Can't wait to come back again.

Незабываемый отель... в самом "сердце" исторического центра Мармариса... рядом с крепостью и яхтенной мариной... А какие красивые улочки к нему ведут.... как в сказке... Очень продуманно, с любовью, обставлены комнаты.. балкон... терасса... а на кухне и в ванных столько посуды и прочих нужных мелочей, благоухающих кремов, пенок.... что создалось впечатление, будто приехали в гости к хорошим друзьям.... Хочется еще и еще вернуться...

全てがフォトジェニック

家族4人で宿泊しました。ロケーションは抜群で、近くにレストランはたくさんありますが、私たちは近くのマーケットで食材を買い、キッチンで夕食、朝食を作って、海の見える素敵なテラスでいただきました。マルマリスのボートツアーも最高に楽しかったですが、8 oda homesでのんびり過ごした時間は、本当に素晴らしかったです。

Gerçek bir butik otel

Marmaris Kalesinin içinde son derece zarif döşenmiş ama aynı zamanda fonksiyonel iki katlı bir odasında 1 gece geçirdik. Çocuklarımız odaya tek kelimeyle bayıldılar. Kalenin içinde yürüme rotasının üzerinde olduğu için gece biraz konuşma gürültüsü olsada, burada konaklamaktan aldığımız keyfi azaltmadı. Tekrar kalmayı kesinlikle düşünüyoruz.

Superb location

Everything was wonderful from the front desk guy Ali, the room amenities and location inside a 14 th century Castle wall ( built under the reign of Mehmet the conquerer). It was spotless and very cute. I only have 2 criticisms; the air conditioner blew straight at the bed and was very intense, not really being able to be turned down in intensity. The other was were that the pillows on the bed were hard and flat, which I hate. Over all a great property you should stay in!
