The self contained cabin was a lot bigger than I expected for the price. Great location walking distance from Porepunkah, and great access to Mount Buffalo as well. Highly recommend

Pet friendly, great for our dog.

Nice, clean and new cabin. We had a wonderful stay

Close to Mt Buffalo Dingo Dell and Cresta Vally and ski hire; staff are friendly and accomodation is clean and sufficient.

We stayed in a deluxe family cabin. Everything was great. My only complaint would be a resident's loud music who lives 2 cabins down from us.

The 2BR unit is clean and amenities adequate.

Easy check in, comfy cabin

Good for riding the bike trails. Good food options a short walk in town.

It was just a very nice place to stay and good value for mony.

Overnight stay

Just what we expected- a clean spacious cabin. No restaurants nearby could be seen as a difficulty

Big problem. As with many people no power at all. SO....bread roll last night, no cup of tea, no shower, all in the dark, window was left open so water on floor beside bed., no TV, no breakfast, so we left at 7.30 am.

Great, convenient cabin location

It was a beautiful spot beside the river. Cabin was comfortable and covered our needs adequately. Wasnt happy at being contacted by the park after completing (and paying) our booking online advising we had to pay extra as we were travelling with a small dog. We booked the dog friendly cabin. We stated we were two adults and one dog. Booked and paid - then had to pay more. Seems unfair and no point in booking online for dog friendly accommodation.

Awful! The Receptionist was so rude, unhelpful, and unfriendly. The worst customer service that I have ever experienced. The gas for the stove and oven were both not working properly. No wifi connection during our entire stay. I would not recommend this place.

Simply beautifully situated. Very well run and quiet. Reasonably priced.

The park is set in beautiful and peaceful surroundings. The best thing was that when we arrived at 9pm at it was freezing, our cabin was toasty and warm. The staff were friendly and helpful.

It’s a perfect location for Autumn and staff is very kind and helpful which reflect very much culture of Bright Perfect destination for family

Glamping tent was superb & ideally located along the river. Perhaps a small milk in the fridge, and matches to light the candle would make it perfect?

A very nice park in a beautiful location in a great part of the world. A fantastic place to get away and just enjoy and listen to nature!

Foot Of Mt Buffalo

Ideal spot at the foot of Mt Buffalo. Very clean and ideal for a weekend away.

It was great, except that it was very muddy because of the rain and no good place to park the car next to the cabin.

Wonderful location & great place for kids. Cabin had everything I needed & staff were helpful.

Adequate

Adequate for the price and served its purpose but would not return. Happy to pay a bit more and have everything in order . Opened two kitchen cupboards which promptly made contact with floor as bottom hinges not secured to cupboards. Wanted to flip some eggs but no utensil . Not the end of the world but it did say all kitchen / cooking gear supplied and I’m sure someone has a check list to tick off before next guests arrive . Pet friendly = yapping dogs so will stick to “ no pets” accommodation next time .... not the parks fault tho !

Good location, nice people. Toilets and cabin a bit tired.

My stay was brief but I would like to come back and stay longer. I rented a budget cabin which had everything I needed. Very comfortable. Thank you.

Beautiful new cabin at the foot of Mt Buffalo

Property is well managed, the cabin was ready earlier than expected and was very clean and comfortable. Location is perfect if you want to explore Bright and Mt buffalo. We enjoyed our stay and will visit again.

Close to lovely river.

Cheap for a quick stay. Bed is uncomfortable. Great spot on the river close to Victorian alps.

Good place to stay even for more days

Good place to escape hot summer in the city this is my third time to stay in this caravan park and i will recomanded to my friends because les than one hour from here is Mt Buffalo,Mt Hotham and Falls Greek and Bright is les than 10 min drive

A good value stay for a weekend to the snow. We were able to easily reach both Falls Creek and Mt hotham. The staff were nice and the room was comfortable.

Good place to stay

The place is very accessible. It's tidy & spacious. The kitchen is well stocked. Though it rained the whole time we stayed but still we enjoyed our stay. The staff are friendly & approachable.

Clean and comfy accommodation in a great location

Stayed in a deluxe cabin that could accommodate five people in two rooms. Has an ensuite bathroom and an open plan kitchen fully equipped with crockery and utensils including an oven, microwave oven, four plates gas stove, kettle, etc. Double bed in master bedroom has electric blankets. Linen and soap provided. Living room has flat screen TV and DVD player, and split system air conditioning unit. Very impressed with the cleanliness and tidiness of the place. Simply a modern hotel but in a caravan park setting. Love the hot showers.

Lovely place to stay with family. Owners must have been burned in the past - documentation skewed towards excessive.

Good cabin and quiet location

beautiful location located 10 mintues from Bright

lovely friendly staff. clean tidy rooms. cabins are super cute and homely we absolutely loved it. the only down side was not having a bathroom in the cabin, perhaps more accurate photos of the rooms? other than that a solid 10/10 highly recommended we will be back for sure :)

Porepunkah Bridge Caravan Park still a Great Place

This is our second time there and now with new owners it remains a fantastic place to stay, close to the river a short walk into Porepunkah and 5 min from Bright a great place to base yourself and explore .We mostly spent our time mountain bike riding around the many trails that area and kayaking in the river

Quiet spot with friendly staff

Came to Porpunkah for a bit of R&R, just looking for some quiet time. Found that exactly, couldn't recommend this place more highly and will be bringing the family back here!

Porepunka bridge caravan park

Lovely place with stunning surroundings. Great service too. Close to everything with walks and a quick ride into Bright. Lots to see and a great place to relax. Very family friendly. Would definitely stay there again as it was a great base for exploring the Victorian Alps.

We stayed at Porepunkah bridge caravan park recently and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful surroundings,clean,great river access and pool. Its a really beautiful part of Victoria...well worth a visit.

Perfect base from which to explore the towns of Poerpunkah, Bright and Wandiligong by bicycle, suing the wonderful rail trail.

Quiet, simple location near beautiful river

Really happy with the service of this park. They were always accomodating and helpful with requests, and attended to problems efficiently. Enjoyed my cabin and the parks location by the river and it was very spot.

Porpunkah Bridge Caravan Park

After having a fall ( not on the property) the managers of the caravan park went over and beyond their duties. they drove me to the hospital and took good care of me. thank you so much for all your help, it was much appreciated.

Room was small and compact which took a bit of getting used to but was not bad. The main problem was the bed. Woke up every hour, literally because I kept checking the time, and ended up with muscle aches in the morning. Slept on both bunk and normal bed and both were pretty uncomfortable. Still, good location and amenities were alright. Just lack of sleep.

Well furnished stand alone quarters

The accommodation was really nice, clean and very well furnished. Although the tele inside the bedroom frequently had static interruptions, over all - everything were perfect. The staff were very nice and warm from the moment we arrived and until we left. Kudos!!!

Lovely for an overnight stay!

Came in late accidentally, but everything was ready for us to go straight into the room. So awesome :)

This was a great place for my wife and three kids to use as a base for the snow and mountain biking around the Bright area .The cabin was cozy and warm even for winter and the staff were fantastic keen to get back there in summer .

Attractive caravan and camping park in an equally

We appreciated the welcome at the camp office and the setting of our cabin at an excellent rate.

Cheap, clean cabins.

For the budget conscious this is a great choice, especially if all you really need to do is sleep there at night. Kids bunks were okay for young teenagers but wouldn't suit someone tall. The pool was spotless and well shaded.

Perfect weekend escape

The owner met us at 2200 on a Friday night with a big smile and welcome. Good start. Had a nice cabin at a great rate and the parks facilities are top notch. The bathroom facilities are the cleanest and better equipped in the area. We will be back!

Easy access to Bright, Alpine region and surrounding areas for bike riding. Excellent rail trail - surface, directions and interests on the way.

Lovely location.

This was a very pretty park to stay in and the swimming pool and shower block very clean and well serviced. Overall it was a lovely place to relax in between our Mt Buffalo climb.

Comfy bed in Chalet 3

We knew we'd e arriving late, so we shot them a quick call. They were more than happy to assist and so our late check in was a breeze. The heater was on in our chalet, which made a nice welcoming. Clean and tidy. Chalet 3 was good, a not too far from ablution block.
