Wir hatten ein tolles, sauberes Appartement, wurden von Robin herzlich willkommen geheissen und haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Appartementhotel ist privat geführt, das strahlt die ganze Anlage aus. Die Zimmer sind mit allem ausgestattet, was für einem längeren Aufenthalt notwendig ist. Wprden jederzeit wieder kommen!

We would stay here again, but if you can manage some stairs I'd prefer the top floor. Having people above you can be annoying. The manager's we're friendly and very accommodating.The apartment was fresh with modern decor and beautiful gardens! Equipped with everything you need. A great, private pool and good BBQ area too. It's at the top end of the main street of Port Douglas. An easy, flat walk to everything. The beach is only 5 minutes the other way!

We had a great stay here to wrap up a month of traveling. It was quiet, and great location near shopping, restaurants, and the beach. Robin and Sonya, the hosts, were extremely helpful and all around great! Highly recommend!

Excellent accommodation in a great location. The apartment is very well set .up with everything that you need. Close enough so that everything is easily walkable. A great place to stay in Port Douglas.

Nice stay, great location, rooms a bit dated

Sonya and Robin are great hosts, always on hand to support, provide recommendations and quick to respond. Communal facilities e.g. pool, BBQs, laundry and great. Everything was spotlessly clean. The room was comfortable but on the ground floor quite dark and a bit dated. Great location to shops and restaurants, but being on the main road traffic is loud

This is a great location in Port Douglas - there is a basement car park for days when you are not driving anywhere as it’s walking distance to the centre for shops, restaurants, bars & the Marina. Sonya & Robin are lovely, helpful people and despite my booking confirmation stating otherwise, reception is open until late afternoon

Very nice apartment, and excellent communication from managers.

I especially liked the beautiful garden and convenience of the location which is close to the beach and main street where all the shops and restaurants are. Our apartment was well set up and comfortable on the ground floor with an outdoor verandah facing the garden.

Robin maintains the gardens and I must say they are very impressive. He was carving a old Palm stump to make a sculpture named Murray. Great job Robin.

Great location right on the beach & Main Street, lovely room, no kids

Sonya and Robin have maintained the place immaculately. Thier hospitality was impeccable and we would love to stay there again. This is the best spot to stay as it's a 60sec walk to four mile beach and is located right at the top of the street which has all the restaurants and bars. It is also at a major junction so lot of shuttles pass by frequently. I highly recommend this place if you plan on staying in Port Douglas.

The Port Douglas Apartments are located within easy access to 4 mile beach and the main eateries of the township. The Apartments provide a great base to explore the region.

Great position for beach and shops and lookout walk (recommended) - On the corner of main roads so traffic noise in peak season could annoy if patio door open. Unit was well fitted out with nice touches eg shopping bags, swap library. Washing machines and dryers on site. Roomy patio.

Cozy apartments at Post Douglas

It is an amazing little complex, very close to the beach and the main street with stores, restaurants and the marina. It is well maintained and has all the amenities necessary, not fancy but has everything one needs for a comfortable stay. The manager/owners are very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time.

Had a lovely stay - was greeted kindly - very helpful with our asks and loved our time in the apartment. It was nice to cook and have “comforts” of home with a living room and cable TV to wind down after a busy day!

On arrival was greeted by a friendly person which made us feel so welcomed. Show us to our room. Explained how things worked. Walking distance to beaches and was on the main street so made it easier. Would go back to this place again. Lots of room. Good Internet.

Great location and impeccably clean

We loved our week staying in Port Douglas Apartments. It is perfectly located in the main Street, but away from the busy end of town. It is a short walk to everything. This small block of apartments offers a comfortable home away from home, with a laundry, pool & BBQ area, and our apartment had a very comfortable bed a nice layout and quality inclusions. Managers Sonya and Robin are very friendly and helpful with tour ideas and local knowledge. The apartments are impeccably clean and well maintained. We were slightly disappointed the spa wasn’t heated.

We had a great time in Port Douglas. The weather was spot on, not too hot or too cold.

Port Douglas rediscovered

We had a wonderful time in Port Douglas over Carnivale weekend! The apartment was perfect as was the location. We will return to Port again as we have rediscovered it after a few years of not holidaying there. We would also stay a Port Douglas Apartments again. Over all great weekend!!

Large apartment with great location. Stayed here to explore the Great Barrier Reef. Port Douglas is closer to many sightseeing opportunities than Cairns. Very good price, great pool. Very quiet, central location on the Main Street in town.

Home feeling close to beach and Port Douglas cafes

Great hosts that enjoyed good conversation. Comfortable room with most of the things you have at home. Easy to prepare your own food in the kitchen or cook on the barbecues in the courtyard. Peaceful and quiet but the beach and the shopping strip are right outside. A much better experience than staying in a hotel. You feel like you are living in Port Douglas, not visiting Port Douglas.

Fantastic apartment complex for adults.

Absolutely the best position only 1 block from the beach and right on the main street at Port Douglas. The managers were the best, very friendly, positive and helpful. The room was great, bathroom had just been updated - so refreshing to find an affordable apartment with a good bathroom. The complex was neat, clean with all amenities for either short or long stays.

Port Douglas Oasis

Set in the most beautiful lush tropical gardens, Port Douglas apartments provided me with a quiet and comfortable get away. The location was fabulous. One way was walking distance to all the shops and great restaurants of PD. The other way was a few minute walk to 4 mile beach which I walked every morning. The managers Sonya and Robin were great. All requests were organised efficiently and with a smile. Definitely a place to return too.

Great for a quiet stay close to town and beach

The Port Douglas Apartments are great for singles or a couple. With it being adults only, the building and the pool area are nice and quiet. The apartment was lovely with an updated bathroom with shower and a reasonably sized bedroom with lots of storage and good bedside lighting for book lovers. The kitchen area was adequate but a bit cramped if you were planning on doing a lot of self catering. With a microwave, kettle, toaster and two ring hot plate it was fine for making light lunches or a simply dinner. With only a couple of plates and mugs to wash, it never seemed worthwhile to put on the dishwasher so a second dish towel for drying would have been nice. Having a recycling bin on the ground floor which you always walked past was great so could drop off any empties without having to trail down to the garage. There was a free laundry and a convenient tap/shower for rinsing off any sand from the beach. I loved the blinds on the balcony which could be open to enjoy the passing scenery or closed if you wanted some privacy. Sonya and Robin were very helpful and booked us on a fantastic sunset cruise with Indigo Sailing. One improvement I would suggest is to have some written instructions in the room on how to work the TV with its Austar Satellite channels and DVD. It took me 2 days to work out how to play a DVD and then I had no idea how to get back to the Austar channels. I loved my stay here and am sure I will be back.

Perfect location, friendly staff and very clean

Hotel owners were very lovely and helpful. The location is within walking distance to the beach, cafes and restaurants. Not luxury but nice and clean rooms.

If you want to be close to the beach stay here

found this hotel on the Internet and it was a great choice. From the moment we went to reception we were made very welcome. We were shown to our room which was a first for us. It was only a short walk to the beach, about 2 minutes if that. There was also an outdoor shower which was great to get the sand off before a dip in the pool. Loved that the room had its own bedroom and not stuck in the middle of the room. Also liked that it was kid free. Been there done that. Loved this hotel

We loved staying here, Robin & Sonya were great hosts! Enjoyed the self-contained nature of the apartments and liked the privacy of not having daily room servicing. Fantastic location right in town and 2 minute walk to beach. Convenient laundry facilities made life easy too. Great place.

Only complaint was the bed. Very hard & uncomfortable.

Great 3 nights fabulous apartment with everything you could need, Robin made us very welcome and explained restaurants and bars very close by. only thing potentially could have made it better would have been comfortable chairs on the deck.

We really enjoyed our stay - the room was beautiful, modern and very clean. Fantastic balcony with privacy shutters. Well equipped kitchenette with everything from champagne glasses to glad wrap, although our stovetop was very slow. Walking distance to pristine beach in one direction, and lots of shops and dining options in other direction. Would recommend going to the Sunday markets - great stalls there. Would also recommend a drive to Mossman gorge. The managers were very helpful in helping us book for tourist attractions. Will definitely return.

Nous avons séjournés 8 jours car le cyclone Debby a modifié nos plans. Appartement très bien situé avec toutes les commodités de très bonnes qualités, balcon etc. Je recommande fortement car les propriétaires sont à leurs affaires. En plus à 2 pas de la plage et de tous les services. Beaucoup plus tranquille que Cairns. Seul Bémol pas de lit king et wi-fi très déficient.

Faultless apartment

We stayed at Port Douglas Apartments for three nights. Location, location, location...walking distance to everything you need. Hosts were fabulous. The apartment was faultless apart from very slow internet. Would definitely stay again. Adults only was another holiday surprise.....being teachers it is nice to have that escape.

The apartment was really beautifull and I loved the location close to the beach for a morning walk. Sonya, the owner was so friendly and helpfull with my excursions. I wish I could stay longer at this apartment. I would come back for sure!

Off-season (Februar) ist in Port Douglas im Gegnsatz zu anderen Küstenabschnitten in Queenaland nicht alles geschlossen. Die Wege vom Apartmemt zum Einkaufen, Bäcker, Restauramts sind sehr kurz.
