what an absolute gem!

Cherry Plum cottages was an absolute gem of a fine! It was traditional, quaint and delightful set in its own cottage garden, overlooking a field of llamas. Sitting on the Veranda in the evening whilst having a barbecue was such a lovely experience in the peace and quiet of the countryside. The room itself was so very comfortable, clean and traditional. Lovely touches were left everywhere – sweets in a bowl, jams, honey and other condiments, biscuits and even a decanter of port!

Such a charming cottage, so comfortable just adorable

Dianne, the host was fantastic. They had a cancellation and upgraded us to the bigger cottage at no cost. Beds were comfortable and it felt just like being at home. After a few days driving the Great Ocean Road, it was just what we needed to kick back and relax.

What a gem! Dianne was a great host with impeccable communication and her love of the property is evident in the attention to detail she shows in the property’s presentation. Loved the quiet farm-like surroundings with a couple of beautiful highland cattle and a herd of alpaca. Situated only a five minute drive from town, you could definitely walk there if you wanted to. Loved our stay and hope to return someday. Definitely recommend this gorgeous property.

The cottage was perfect for us. We wanted a nice, quiet, warm (it was a really cold weekend) and casual weekend away. We got all that with some really interesting history thrown in. Great stay.

Beautiful Cottage for Family Stay

Was a wonderful place to stay with all the required amenities and a few little extras provided as well. Stayed here with my husband and 5 yo and it was perfect for us. We cooked one night and ate out the other, same for breakfast. The garden is lovely and we enjoyed watching the Fairy Wrens playing in the afternoons. At the end if the street is a mini golf course which the little one enjoyed and otherwise it is about a 10 minute walk or 3 minute drive into town. Definitely would stay here again.

We loved the cottage inside and out. Homely, warm and comfortable inside and with all mod cons. Beautiful gardens and very secluded. Diane was always very helpful and thoughtful during our short stay and provided us with lots of little extras like a high chair for our baby. Hope to stay here again someday.

Really helpful host. Excellent included continental breakfast plus chocolates and port. Well equipped with extra touches. Good selection of DVD’s, cd’s and games etc.

Heavenly choice in Port Fairy!

What a delight! We loved our charming acottage with its lovely garden and beautiful antiques and comfy linens and amenities. We were surrounded by historic buildings and nature at every turn—flowers fruit trees and birds and llamas. What fun! Thank you for a memorable and thoroughly delightful stay in darling Port Fairy!

This was the most charming cottage imaginable! Comfortable and cozy! The property manager was so sweet, leaving us milk, "good" water and everything we needed for a breakfast in the morning. From the bathrobes hanging in the closet to the cheerful fireplace, it was a wonderful stay.

Lovely cottage in a nice setting

Very cozy old cottage. One of two so good privacy. Nice quiet location yet close to town centre. Lovely host and good amenities. Our only regret was that we only had one night there.

Wat een mooi lief huisje en wat een fijne gastvrouw . Alles is mogelijk en alles kan. Wij vonden het jammer maar 1 nachtje te hebben geboekt . Een real Fairy!

L'environnement, le style so british de la maisonnette très "cosy", l'impression d'être un peu chez soi. L'extérieur et l'intérieur sont très soignés. Le seul bémol, il faisait froid...

Best Great Ocean Road stop over

Stayed at Cherry Plum Cottages during a Great Ocean Road trip. It’s hard to even describe how magnificent this stay was, we arrived a little late but we were still greeted by Diane, she made sure the heating was on to warm up the cottage.Everything was just spot on and so cosy. Would highly recommend, I just wish I could have stayed longer.

Awesome stay

Amazing BnB. Last stop of our great Ocean road. Host is nice to prepare everything is ready for us before reaching. Place is nice. You get to see alpaca as well.

An amazing property, clean and tidy and the hosts great to communicate with. Best finished with a glass of port on the table. would highly recommend and will stay there again.

Little personal extras like proving bread and milk, juice and cereals and different teas, coffee and chocolates were really lovely. Presentation and cleanliness were top notch! Then there was port to drink whilst sitting on the deck in the afternoon sun. Loved it!

Very private and fabulous hosts. Great welcome and all amenities shown to us on our arrival. Very generous breakfast package provided. Even asked about our favourite type of bread !!!!

Perfect cottage in Port Fairy

A picturesque little cottage just 3 min from Poert Fairy town centre. Diane, the owner couldn’t have been more helpful and her stamp was definitely on this perfectly presented wee self contained cottage. A perfect base for our day of exploring Port Fairy

Quiet and relaxing charm

Cherry Plum Cottages is a nice, quiet location. It is essentially apartment style accommodation with a charming, warm character. In addition, the facilities are such you could go to the supermarket, load up, put your feet up, and feel you are at home.

Loved it’

Only thing to add to the owners would be to maybe fix the kitchen window and front screen door as they rattled and banged all three nights. But we loved it!

Cosy cottage full of nostalgia

The friendly owners met us on arrival, showed us the impressive breakfast spread and recommended some activities in the town. They then left us to stay in this beautiful, clean, warm and cosy cottage. Highlights were the alpacas over the fence, complimentary delicious port and the delicious bed!

Country feel to this charming cottage.

Would definitely recommend this lovely cottage. We had a cosy night in this place with a fantastic attention to detail for comfort. We felt like we were home!

Hidden Gem

Booked this as an e treat after 3 days on the Great Ocean Road - it exceeded all expectations. Comfortable and quiet ambience in a historical country cottage surrounded by antiques. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

Beautifully decorated cottage in a lovely quiet setting. Attention to detail was impeccable from snacks, drinks, breakfast to heating, linen and a very friendly manager to meet us with great information and knowledge. All we had hoped for and more. Wish we had allowed for a few days stay.
