Ara di marte was a true experience. The residence is lavish and well appropriated. Extremely clean and well supplied with coffee, sweets upon arrival, and necessities. We received wonderful service by the staff members. Complimentary bottle of wine was waiting for us after check in. The location was near the Pantheon and the heart of the historic district. Walking distance to cafe’s and shops, in the hustle and bustle of Rome, but not loud. Our family of 4 had ample room to spread out our belongings and make ourselves comfortable. We loved our experience here and highly recommend to others. Be aware that there is no standing shower. Only claw foot tubs with a shower nozzle to hold while washing your hair. Apart from that, perfect stay!

Honeymoon paradise

My husband and I came to Rome for a week on our honey moon and I couldn’t have picked a better place to stay, this was such a charming place with charming and helpful staff, thank you for making our honeymoon so memorable!

The staff's response, the wonderful reception, the cleanliness of the facility, and the location were all top-notch and wonderful! I was disappointed that the elevator was small, but this is a wonderful hotel. Good location, within walking distance of sightseeing spots.

We stayed for six nights, and could not be happier with our choice of where to stay. Location, service, cleanliness, and comfort were all 10/10. Staff was welcoming, helped with airport transfer and recommendations. Thoughtful details like a very comfortable bed, steam shower, mini bar with essentials, and a choice of breakfast every morning. The gorgeous outdoor terrace was an added bonus.

In heart of Rome

Great service!! Reception was very helpfull and really nice. We left our baggage with her, while we went walking to attractions. Suites are beatufull and Locatel at the heart of Rome! Will stay again.

Couldn’t be happier with the experience! The location is fantastic – right in the middle of everything. It’s so convenient for exploring the city’s attractions, restaurants, and shops, all within walking distance. Despite being in a central area, the hotel is in a quiet and safe neighborhood with a secure gated entrance, which made me feel comfortable and relaxed throughout my stay. The best part of the experience was the staff. They are genuinely friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything you need, from recommendations to assistance with arrangements. It felt like they went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable.

Great place to stay; excellent location.

Overall, the room was amazing, and the staff extremely helpful and friendly. This is an amazing location near the EU Parliament building and is an easy walk to the Coliseum, the Vatican, Trevi Fountain and (basically) any other main tourist attraction. The only critique that can be offered is that the entrance is a little hard to find. It is advisable to call ahead for directions, even when you have the address.

Excellent hotel and friendly staff

Really cool boutique hotel with a great balcony and breakfast. The location is great and close to lots of great restaurants and attractions. The staff was amazing and helpful. We had steam shower in our room that was much needed. Would recommend for sure. The elevator is comically small but works if you don't want to carry your luggage up 4 floors of stairs. We would absolutely stay here again.

After reading other reviews about the property, I decided to book it. But it was pretty awful. I want to start by saying the staff was lovely and super helpful. There were just a lot of things that were off about it like needing a combination and several keys just to get into the building and then our room. When you enter the room you were in the bathroom. Not the bedroom, and to make it even stranger there was a massive 6‘ x 6‘ square Jacuzzi tub dominating that space. Just so weird. There was a nice little patio but the street was just too loud to sit there. The lights switches were in weird places and hard to find, some didn’t work so that was frustrating. No towel bars or hooks. It also had an odd step down to bedroom with mirrors (which was disorienting for the middle of the night pee ). so I would not recommend this hotel. Also, there’s massive construction going on in area around it so it was difficult to get taxis to pick us up or take us back. I feel bad as I never leave a negative review but the minute we arrived at this hotel we were bummed that we had booked it.

Overall great experience, small hotel with few rooms. Rooms were clean, spacious and had a big terrace.

The hotel was excellent! The location was great. It was in the center of all of the attractions, yet tucked away and quiet. The rooms were beautiful and very clean. The breakfast was delicious and delivered to your door. The best thing about this hotel though, is the staff! They were so friendly and accommodating. We loved it and will stay again if we ever come back to Rome.

Accommodating Local Hotel

The staff at this quaint hotel made our stay comfortable and stress free. I had a hard time making reservations at a restaurant that I could not reach by phone and they were more than happy to do it for me.
