La ubicación es perfecta. En 20 minutos llegas caminando a los lugares mas turisticas. Esta en el centro de todo y el personal es super amable. Volveria mil veces

Muy cerca del centro, cuarto amplio, limpio, desayuno básico, pero para mi estaba bien. Me quedaría nuevamente.

Habitación dentro de un edificio a que comparten varias oficinas. Pequeña pero con todo lo necesario. Baño pequeño con ducha solo para Petites. Te y galletas para degustar a cualquier hora. Personal amable y claro en sus recomendaciones para conocer los principales puntos de atracción Ubicación un poco complicada pero cerca de todos los sitios de interés. Desayuno básico: café muy bueno pero para estómagos fuertes, croissant delicioso y jugo envasado.

La experiencia en este hotel ha sido extraordinaria. Nos alojamos en la segunda planta, que según la chica de recepción, había sido renovada por completo. El hotel se encuentra en un inmueble antiguo en pleno centro de Roma. La ubicación es perfecta, porque está cerca de todo y se puede visitar toda la ciudad a pie. Solo cogimos el metro una vez. Además, da a una calle en la que no hay tráfico. El hotel tiene mucho encanto, porque es muy familiar. Las habitaciones son amplias y cómodas, cada una está decorada de una forma. El desayuno incluido se toma en una cafetería detrás del hotel, no el propio hotel. Es un desayuno sencillo con zumo, algo caliente y un croissant, nada del otro mundo, pero no está mal. Lo único "mejorable" de este hotel es que necesitaría un comedor. En nuestra planta había una terracita muy agradable donde podías comer y cenar si comprabas tu comida. El hotel proporciona tostadora, hornillo, cubiertos, plantos, vasos e incluso, cerveza, infusiones, y por las tardes, algo dulce para picar. Algo que no había visto en otro sitio y que me parece todo un detallazo, sin pagar nada. La limpieza es excepcional. El personal, atento y amable, nos explicaron qué sitios visitar en Roma sobre un mapa nada más llegar, nos mostraron las habitaciones, nos explicaron todo. A la hora de coger el avión, incluso se encargaron de llamarnos un taxi para que estuviese a su hora en la puerta del hotel. En fin, muy buena experiencia y recomendaría este hotel sin duda

La persona que nos atendió, Valerio. Un chico muy amable y atento. Nos aconsejó sitios turísticos que no debíamos dejar de visitar, las rutas más cortas para llegar a pie y qué líneas de autobuses llegaban a determinados sitios, dónde comprar los tickets para el autobús. El hotel era tranquilo, sin ruidos y cerca de las paradas de autobús y de la zona del Vaticano.

Una agradable sorpresa

El B&B Calamatta. Fue una agradable sorpresa en Roma . Esta ubicado en una area muy segura en el centro de Roma. Valerio es el mejor compartiendo buenos puntos turisticos, lugares de interes y ademas es muy amable. La casa de huespedes es comoda, limpia y agradable. Para el desayuno les recomiendo los cornetos rellenos de Nutella del restaurante de Mimo. Son los mejores!! Definitivo regresaria al B&B Calamatta.

Excelente ubicación... La habitación súper cómoda. Lo único no tan bueno es que el desayuno no era muy variado. Pero de todas formas lo recomiendo!

Muy agradable y acogedor.

El B&B está ubicado en una zona tranquila, muy cerca de todo.La habitación era grande y cómoda. El propietario fue muy amable, nos dio muy buenos datos sobre cosas que ver y hacer en Roma. Lo único malo fue que la conexión del WiFi era muy débil y se cortaba a cada rato, con lo cual era difícil utilizar la Internet, y que la televisión no funcionaba (Valerio consiguió arreglarla momentaneamente, pero a los 15 minutos dejó de funcionar definitivamente). Pero en general, una estadía muy agradable.

Great location but difficult to sleep

The hotel is very well located and the staff is amazing, always responsive and attentive to the guests needs and questions. The only but about this hotel is the noise that you can hear from the inside. Literally we heard the other room toilet and shower, and the cleaning boy at early hours in the morning.

Its was amazing. The most beautiful room with great coffee. Noel was awesome so friendly and he paid special attention to detail and the room was spotless. I highly recommend this place

Clean, but a bit worn out. The service was excellent, helpful staff. Negative: noisy. Not so much in the evening, but we were woken up by morning traffic and construction several times.

Perfect place and the sweetest people! Could not recommend more!

We really appreciated Pamela and Daniella's friendliness and information for surrounding sites and restaurants to visit. There was also a shared balcony on the second floor that was fun to use when you wanted to have a glass of wine or light meal. Location was perfect for us to visit the Spanish steps, Pantheon etc.

excelente ubicacion y servicio

We were welcomed by Pamela who was very friendly and showed us how to get to various places around Rome. She gave us a map and told us bus routes and how long walking would take. She was very knowledgeable. She let us know about the summer events down by the river with music, shopping, food… The room was clean with a little coffee station, plenty of towels and the AC was amazing!! Calmara BB is in an excellent central location, yet down a quiet street.

The room was very nice and the hotel itself is in a prime location to visit the countless sites located in Rome. Pamela was so helpful and I would suggest asking her for food recommendations as we got around to three of hers and were pleased with them all!

Our stay was excellent . Very friendly and helpful staff. I made an error with my check in date but luckily we were accommodated. Daniella and Pamela were awesome!!! They helped us make our stay very comfortable. Thank you ladies! The rooms were big and comfortable and very clean ! Bathroom is a comfortable size. There is a rooftop terrace you can hang out and have wine. The amenities were well thought of to make your stay comfortable. Close to everything ... restaurants, cafes, public transformation very accessible.

Was in a very central location and staff was always willing to help you out.

The B n B was good, room was adequate, shower small for most, breakfast not U.S style expresso and a crescent roll. You can not hail a cab you need to go to a taxi stand not very convenient, closest one is 20 minute walk

The owner Simone is very nice and helpful. It has great free breakfast. It is also close to a 24hr self service laundromat which is super convenient for travelers.

Amazing location. Walkable to all the main sights. Staff was very helpful recommending places to eat and ways of getting around. Really great stay!

This property is located in the best possible area in Rome, everything in walking distance, it was very clean and quiet, and the staff specially Pamela was very helpful and friendly. Absolutly a yes for the next time.

Customer service was wonderful!

This place made you feel like you were actually living like a local in Italy, as if you were staying at your nonnas place. The location is amazing, easy walk to Vatican Area only 10-15min walk. Easy to just find a Line Scooter using the app and use it to get around Rome. Best for people not staying too long but need a convenient and comfortable place to sleep

The water pressure is good, air conditioning is good, the location is good and the staff is too nice to provide me a portable fridge and let me store my luggage after check out

Perfekt boende i suveränt läge

Jättefint rum med badrum i perfekt läge i Rom! Extremt välstädat och välordnat på alla sätt. De ansvariga, inte minst Pamela, är väldigt vänliga och hjälpsamma. Frågor besvarades mycket snabbt och bra via Hotels.com eller WhatsApp. Stället som rek. för frukost (går att bet. på Calamatta om man vill) är mkt trevligt och bra. Vi kommer att välja samma boende nästa gång vi besöker Rom!

Loved It!

My friends and i had a great time! Great service and easy check in. Room was clean and everyone was so nice! Though it was across the river, it was still pretty close to all the action about a 15 min walk to the trevi fountain. Highly recommend.

Great value, great location

Amazing location, maybe 10 mins walk from the Spanish steps and metro. Very spacious room and also clean. Supermarked 5 mins walk away, and you could easily keep juice and other breakfast stuff in the fridge in the room. Would definitely come back again! Only thing I would have liked (very Small thing) was more knives, since they were often gone, when we ate our breakfast.

Séjour très bon à Rome. L'hôtel est très bien placé et la chambre est bien, lit confortable. Propre et les personnes qui gèrent le Guest house sont très flexibles, serviables et disponibles. Seul bémol s'il y en a un : l'isolation entre le couloir et la chambre n'est pas bonne mais c'est un détail

Toller Service ,tolle Lage

The position is fantastic, right next to the Vatican and within 30-40 minutes walk from everything else. Times aren’t flexible in terms of checking in or out, however the staff is very open. We had a flight change at the last minute and the receptionist was accommodating because we had to leave very early in the morning.

Хорошее месторасположение, пешая доступность до многих достопримечательностей. Хорошая ванная, чистое белье. Из минусов - портят вид обшарпанные тумбочки у кроватей, местами замаранные стены. В начале и конце этой маленькой улицы, на которой расположен гостевой дом, стоят мусорные баки, все время переполненные. И завтрак - большой минус. Во-первых, где-то в кафешке, во-вторых - "итальянский" - крошечный эспрессо, круассан из пачки и 100 грамм сока. За все время моих поездок впервые такое разочарование от завтрака.

Perfect stay

Little things like advice on what to visit, kettle and tea/coffee, cutlery and biscuits provided. Our room for 3 was perfect. Close to bus to airport too.

Good impression in Italy!

When I arrived @ night, I couldn't find the place easily because that was first time for me using google map to fine a place and I couldn't read the address with small letters without my glasses even I was in front of the door. Kindly, POLICE around there contacted the guest house for me so I could take a good rest of first night in Itlay!! The guest house is good to reach The Vatican and The Rome even by walk and the manager Valerio was very kind to explain many things including free enterance to get in "The Vatican museum". Happy staying in Italy and very nice impression to people!! I will visit again cause I missed many place to see and famous food. "Chiao" for now Italy~~^^

Highly recommended for a weekend in Rome

Had a great two-night stay at Guest House Calamatta. When arriving, we were welcomed by the friendly staff who suggested some good walking routes around Rome. Rooms were spacious and spotless. Location was great as well on a quiet street, a short walking distance to both the Vatican and the old city center.

Calamatta's staff is super friendly, nice, and helpful. We could not be happier staying at this nice hotel. The bedroom is cozy, elegant, and modern. Walking distance to Roma's center, Vatican, shops, restaurants, bars, grocery stores, and a park.

Location was amazing, room was comfortable and very clean. Pamela was a lovely host and made sure I was taken care of. I enjoyed breakfast down the street at Il Catanese. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Decent stay near the Vatican

This is probably the best located place we have ever stayed in, a kilometer from the Vatican and 3 km from the Coliseum. The room itself is quite pleasant and the bed is nice. The A.C. is old and it was quite warm so we did have a few issues there but we were out most of the day so it didn't bother us too much. The housekeeping was pretty fine and we had no issues there either. The room was kept clean and the bathroom was decent with the Roman bidet system but there was tissue paper as well. The only major issue we had is that we informed the reception (after many phone calls) that we would arrive at 10 PM. We were exactly 4 minutes late and he had left locking us out (this "guest house" is a B&B and located in a building that has a street facing door that was locked). Luckily some other guests were standing outside right then and they let us in. 15 minutes later the host walked in, showed us to our rooms and then left. We didn't appreciate that. The breakfast is also a joke. What they call "breakfast" is actually at a neighboring cafe and it consists of 1 croissant, 1 warm(ish) cup of coffee and 1 glass of juice. That's all there is to their breakfast! Despite these hiccups we could see ourselves staying there again if we visited Rome again.

Freundlicher Empfang, schöne und saubere Zimmer, tolle Lage. Das Bad ist etwas eng und das Frühstück mit Kaffee, Saft und einem Croissant etwas knapp. Dafür ist das Lokal (Frühstück ist in einem Bistro zwei Straßen weiter) schön und qualitativ gut.

Central location and very good value for money

We stayed for 4 nights (3 people). The location is perfect and the stuff is friendly and very helpful. The possibility for a pick-up service from the airport was great. Breakfast is just coffee and crossaint but it is a nice way to start a day and very cozy to sit outside at a nearby cafe. Daily cleaning and new towels which is great. Great value for money - highly recommendable if you are looking for a cheaper accomodation in Rome.

true 5-star stay

This was truly a 5-star stay - the most helpful welcome from Pamela, walking us through a map and giving great recommendations for neighborhoods to visit. Fantastic centralized location, lovely little balcony to enjoy a morning, nice room with character and a great bathroom; just a really great stay. Our favorite of the whole trip.

Wonderful Stay!

Great place, centrally located with very helpful staff and comfortable beds! Our keys would not open the door to the rooftop which was a little disappointing and the staff are only there between 10am - 4 pm. Overall we had a wonderful stay! We would definitely recommend the Calamatta!

굉장히 만족했어요. 우선 숙소 위치가 최고구요. 기본 셋팅과 룸크리닝까지 청결도 좋았습니다. 컵, 그릇, 차 종류 같은 편의용품도 잘 갖춰져있었습니다. 침대도 편안했습니다. 호스트와 직원들도 매우 친절합니다. 다음에 다시 로마에 가면 또 방문하고 싶어요

Impeccable! Situation idéale & quartier calme

Idéalement situé ds le centre historique, ds un très bel immeuble ancien, et dans un quartier calme. Chambre propre, tout confort, décorée avec goût. Grande salle de bain, impeccable, avec douche. Thé, café et biscuits à discrétion. Mais le petit déjeuner - léger (boisson chaude, jus et viennoiserie) est servi ds un café élégant situé à 5min. Belle terrasse ombragée à disposition des clients. Valerio était présent à notre arrivée et nous a indiqué sur le plan tous les monuments / sites et comment s’y rendre à pieds... Nous recommandons vivement le B&B Calamatta et y séjournerons sans hésiter lors d’un prochain séjour.

Location is Great!! Access to the major tourist sites was so convenient, * minute walk to piazza Navona. Very quiet location on a small low traffic side street near piazza Cavour and the Tiber. Our host was great and spoke perfect english! She arranged our Airport transfers including arrival and a 3:30 AM departure and they were flawless! The daily breakfast is provided by a nearby Bar/pasticceria and was great. The only negative that we noted is that the beds are FIRM.

Rome City Stay

City Center near the Vatican, Piazza Navone and the Pantheon area. Close to everything, Comfortable rooms, Bakery nearby provides breakfast, lots of good Trattorias and pizzerias nearby and a wine vending machine nearby for your unexpected party needs.

Wonderful stay - 100% recommend!

We loved our stay at the B&B Calamatta and would definitely recommend it! The location is good - it’s the north west of the central city, the other side of the river which meant it wasn’t really busy outside. It was close enough to be able to walk everywhere - we got a taxi once to the colosseum and that was only because we were running late for our tour! Njce restaurants and a few shops near by - and breakfast at the cafe was always good! Only thing I would say is the breakfast is only a croissant, coffee and small orange juice so we often paid for something more substantial. The room was clean and modern, with a comfy bed and great shutters to keep the room dark! Staff were friendly and very helpful - the advice Pamela gave us at the start of the week was priceless and we used the map she gave us every day. She also helped us book our taxi back to the airport when I’d struggled with the Italian! Lovely little terrace too - and a fridge with hot drinks available and biscuits put out everyday which was a really nice touch. Would definitely return and recommend the B&B!

위치가 좋았어요 바티칸 바로 옆이었고 친구랑 단둘이 머물기 불편함이 전혀 없었어요 조용하고 엘레베이터도 있어요 ㅋㅋ 영화에 나올법한 철로된 엘레베이터 수도관에서 물이 세서 화장실에서 방바닥에 물이 좀 고였는데 말했더니 바로 처리해줬고 직원인지 사장인지 모르겠지만 정말 친절했어요 ㅋㅋ 캐리어 두개 오픈해놓기엔 약간 좁아요 그리고 조식은 200미터쯤 걸어가야하고 빵에 커피한잔? 좀 부실했어요 . 그래도 가격대비 훌륭하다고 생각합니당

O quarto e grande, cama boa. Dois problemas e que o café fica a 600mts de distância da hospedagem em um café. E a taxa de turismo cobrada e muito alto 3,5 euros por pessoa por noite pra mim um absurdo.

Location perfetta, in pieno centro. Camera spaziosa (per 3 persone) e pulita. Ottima la colazione all'italiana presso un bar nei pressi di piazza cavour, convenzionato. Consigliato!

Personalet var søde, dejligt rent. Dog var der meget lydt, og døren til værelset kom der tydeligt lys igennem, nær lyset på gangen tændte. Derudover, havde ejer en hund, som vækkede os alle dage omkring kl.7, ved at gø utallige gange. Rigtig dejligt ophold, man skal dog ikke regne med at sove meget, hvilket er lidt trist, når man netop tager på ferie, for at lade op

Great accommodations the hostess was very helpful with her recommendations around Rome, great location.

It's a lovely place to stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was an old tradition room with a modern bathroom and really comfy bed. Location was perfect, we walked everywhere, no need trains or buses. We when we go back to Rome, we will book this place again.

Great location (10-15mins walk to most of the sites), super clean, and the best part: the kind and knowledgeable staff there (Valeri, Pamela....also Daniela who would bring her puppy to play with our toddler son)! Yes the bathroom is narrow but not a big deal. There’s a working elevator so taking the stroller out everyday was not a hassle! Super safe and quiet neighbourhood. Can take the Sitbus from to/from airport for 6 euros and only about a 5-10mins walk from the stop to this guest house. Also only about a 12 euros taxi from Termini train station and 20mins bus to the Colosseum. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again and recommend to others!

Nice place to stay

Good place to stay, central area, comfortable bed. Breakfast was poor wasn't a good deal.

The location is great, walking distance to everything! Staff was a late to let us in even though they said they would be there at checkin. The tile floors make the place extremely loud. You can hear everyone. This was problematic the first night when one of the neighbor rooms was up late partying. The following day we had a note saying we owed them more money?...never understood why. Finally, I setup a ride to the airport through the hotel. We got up and we’re waiting at 3am for the ride who never showed. After 30 min I called an Uber. Wasn’t an awful experience, just wouldn’t stay here again.

Central location

We were a bit dubious when we arrived at the guest house Calamatta but the staff were efficient and very courteous and helpful. The bed/pillows were comfortable, room adequate. No view to look at though. It was in a perfect position to explore the Sights and very close to the River and The Vatican. Breakfast was in a lovely cafe close by. We were more than happy staying there and would go again.

It was like having a mini apt. In Rome!

This is like having an apartment in Rome, with none of the hassles, and all of the joys! Great service, super area, wonderful bed and thoughtful amenities! Thank you Pamela so much for taking such good care of me. I will be back.....!

Rome visit

We had a lovely visit to Rome and the guest house helped to make that even better. Valerio was very helpful when we arrived and left and Calamatta is in a great position, although a bit noisy at night .

We found the room very comfortable for sleeping. The location was excellent, within walking distance of many sites in Rome. The staff was very welcoming and we loved the coffee bar where breakfast was provided. We would like to have had a few more toiletries and we thought the shower needed a little maintenance. Overall we would definitely stay there again.

Sentralt og relativ rolig.

Helt greit hotell med sentral beliggenhet i en sidegate med lite trafikk. Kort vei til alle severdigheter. Frokosten serveres på en liten kafe noen kvartaler bortenfor, kun juice, kaffe og croisant inkludert (men veldig godt!) og mulighet for å oppgradere mot tillegg. Felles liten terasse i 2 etg. Ikke det mest moderne, men helt greit!

Nice place but not clean

Good location, service and condition but the problem is the cleaning. Dust under beds and over lockers, dirt in shower, no new soap, toilet paper and problem with noisy guests (not youngsters).

Very helpful in showing us how to get around the city to the places we wanted to visit.

Excellent B&B, staff were great. Room and bathroom spotless. Great location, we would definitely return. My only note is that it was a tad noisy in the morning, as you can hear the comings and goings, traffic etc, but we are lazy on holiday and like to sleep in late

The location is walking distance to most attractions including The Vatican and to restaurants and cafes. Rooms were clean and the facilities were well secured. Safe also provided. The staff were helpful and went the extra step to explain the layout of the area.
