Agriturismo La Sovana

This place is stunning. The room is spacious, very clean. Breakfast and dinner were amazing. The owner and family are there making sure we have the best experience possible. Friendly staff. Can’t say enough, love love love my time there.

Wir haben diese Unterkunft als Zwischenstopp von Sizilien nach Hause gewählt. Die Nähe zur Autobahn hat uns gefreut, man bekommt dort davon aber nichts mit. Eine Anlage, wie man sie sich in der Toskana vorstellt. Die angebotenen Weine sind ein Träumchen, Preis-Leistung passen. Das Essen im Menüform war ebenfalls ausgezeichnet. Wir lieben Ruhe aber die Stimmung beim Abendessen war regelrecht beklemmend, mein einziger negativer Punkt aber ggf. lag es ja an mir/uns.

Este es un lugar maravilloso. Es una experiencia completa de agriturismo. La propiedad es preciosa tal como en las fotos. Solo se puede llegar en automóvil pero permite un descanso completo en un ambiente familiar. La comida es deliciosa! Totalmente recomendado.

This is a wonderful agriturismo and the highlight of our trip. Family owned with 3 generations on the property. Service, facilities, and rooms are excellent. Beautiful property. We will return.

Favoloso. Tanto spazio per respirare e godere di un bellissimo panorama collinare. Cucina di alta qualità che rispetta le tradizioni locali esaltando i sapori delle materie prime del territorio. Alta attenzione al cliente, con discrezione e rispetto dei suoi ritmi e del suo modo di interpretare il soggiorno. Ottimo posto sia per giornate di totale relax sia come punto strategico per gite alla scoperta dei bellissimi borghi e panorami della val d'orcia. Il ristorante solo per gli ospiti è un valore aggiunto non indifferente, che eleva l'esclusività del soggiorno. Personale gentilissimo, solare e disponibile. Ci si sente benvoluti. Ci tornerei subito!

La Sovana is extremely nice resort. Surrounding nature is fantastic with wonderful dinner.

My wife and I stayed one night here. And we had a memorable time here. The dinner, we made reservation by email in advance, was the most delicious meal in Italy. And the atmosphere was the best as well. We want to visit Italy again only for Sovana!

Lovely stay in Tuscany!

This hotel exceeded our expectations. It was so beautiful! The food was fabulous, the wine tasting was an added bonus and the grounds were wonderful for exploring! We felt very relaxed and at home here.

Koselig og intim villa i hjertet av Toscana.

Glimrende service og autentisk Toscana. Behjelpelige med alle spørsmål og fantastisk personell. Enestående mat og vin. Godt om parkering. Noe harde senger. Det vil bli veldig varmt på rommet til tross aircondition som man kun kunne stille på minimalt 23 grader celcius.

natura circostante incantevole !! l'area dell agriturismo é recintata e chiusa con un cancello. comodi parcheggi coperti! il cibo é di ottima qualitá e ben preparato unica cosa migliorabile l'attesa a tavola tra le varie potate troppo lunga ! le camere standard sono piccole conviene prendere quelle piu ampie ! interessanti escursioni nelle cittadine circostanti e un gran centro commerciale a 5 km !! soggiorno distensivo e molto piacevole.

Could be paradise...

The place is enchanting. Wonderful nature, peace, privacy. The property is nicely kept under the vigilant eye of the amazing Mr. Olivi, with great care to details. Comfortable room, though at 3-star level (sheets, towels, bath accessories). Food was OK, but it could (and should) be great to make this place really top-notch. In an Agriturismo, you expect to eat all natural and locally produced (even on site) foods. Breakfast in particular was not up to par with limited options and unremarkable industrial ham, sliced bread, jams and juices. We ate two dinners at the property, both of which were really good, but the fixed menu with undeclared appetizers and desserts can yield unpleasant surprises (it did to us).

Our vacation at this family hotel has been absolutely delightful! It has been a perfect blend of tranquility and beauty. The hotel's cleanliness and excellent maintenance have truly impressed us. The picturesque landscape, along with the inviting pool and garden, perfectly encapsulates the essence of Tuscany, just as we had always dreamed of. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

We selected this location as it was near Chiusi train station and the start of a 6 day Tuscan Cycling tour. We arrived around 5:30 after an overnight flight from Toronto and train transfer from Rome airport to Chiusi station. The minute we arrived we started to decompress due to the quiet and peaceful surroundings and view over a beautiful valley of vineyards and olive groves. A set menu meal was served at 8:00 and was utterly delicious. Same for the meals on Saturday. Would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay if we return to Tuscany. 👍👍

The property is gorgeous - beautiful views and location. We enjoyed the pool, bocce and tennis courts. Family suite was very comfortable for 2 adults and 2 kids. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious. The staff are all friendly and helpful. I felt some of the services were a little overpriced (Eg laundry and meals) and we thought the pizza night was “just ok” - but I would wholeheartedly recommend this Agriturismo and happily visit again. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Agriturismo La Sovana which offers spectacular views, clean and comfortable rooms, delicious food, swimming pool, playground, courts, and the most welcoming and helpful owners and staff. We will be recommending this place to our family and friends.

A gorgeous family farm with well appointed and spacious rooms, modern bathrooms and excellent and friendly service. The Saturday evening dinner prepared by the owner was very special. Would highly recommend for a comfortable, quiet, beautiful stay.

Weekend di pace e buon gusto!

La suite scelta da noi si trova in un edificio rustico ricoperto da edere e viti, la stanza è ampia, pulita e profumata sopra gli standard, letto matrimoniale molto comodo, il bagno ampio pulizia impeccabile. Immerso nella campagna dove il silenzio e la serenità per chi cerca il relax sono le caratteristiche principali di questo agriturismo. Cibi di qualità accompagnati da ottimi vini. La colazione buona. Per finire ma non meno importanti la piscina e la vasca idromassaggio.

Must visit place in Tuscany

The stay was fantastic. It is very close to the main cities such as firenze and rome. It takes around 1.5- 2 hrs by car to get to the place but you will find totally different mood from the cities. The town is very calm, beautiful and relaxing. The agriturismo has a pool which is facing its beautiful wineary. I unfortunately can use it as I visited in Autumn but it was still well managed and clean. The agriturismo prepared breakfast at poolside and the view was great. You can also have a dinner in the agriturismo. Foods are good, the mood is romantic and you can also taste its own rabel wines. Everything was good and highly recommended. MUST VISIT!!!

정보가 많이 없어서 많이 고민하고 결정하였는데 매우 만족하였습니다. 입구부터 조경도 매우 잘 되어있고, 수영장도 사진처럼 잘 되어있었습니다. 객실도 깔끔하고 관리가 잘 되어있었으며 화장실도 넓고 좋았어요. 무엇보다 저녁을 신청하여 와인과 함께 즐겼는데 분위도 좋고 너무 맛있게 먹었습니다. 다음에 다시 토스카나 지방을 가게 된다면 꼭 다시 방문하고 싶습니다.

Einfach mal Abschalten und Entspannen

Das Haus liegt sehr schön abseits der Straße. Der Empfang ist sehr freundlich, die Zimmer in tadellosem Zustand und nett eingerichtet. Die Anlage verfügt über alles, was man für einen Urlaub braucht. Das Frühstück ist sehr umfangreich und richtig gut und das Abendessen super lecker, insbesondere die Pasta. Natürlich gibt es hauseigenen Wein und den kann man sehr empfehlen! Zwischendurch kommt der Hausherr rum und erkundigt sich nach dem Wohlbefinden und erklärt einiges zum Wein. Hier lässt sich sehr gut Urlaub machen egal ob nur ein Tag oder länger.

Incredible views, lovely staff, clean comfortable rooms. We didn't stay for any of the meals, but they looked home cooked and delicious. The pool, jacuzzi, tennis courts and other activities make this a great place for the whole family. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get away from it all

Exceeded our expectations!

This place is breathtaking! Not only is the natural scenery amazing (rolling tuscan hills, walled cities in the distance) but the property is absolutely amazing. Every single detail is looked after both inside and outside. You are greeted by a gravel driveway, lined in Cypress trees that lead to the stone building covered in Ivy. Huge pots of flowers are everywhere. The pool area is amazing and everything is spotlessly clean. There are tables and chairs everywhere to enjoy the beautiful views and enjoy your wine from the winery on site. The dinners at the restaurant are really beyond amazing as well. The staff is wonderful and make you feel like the most important guest in the world. The buffet breakfast is included and is also gorgeous, with home made pastries, eggs, fruit, local cheese and meats and beverages. I was so grateful every day that I chose this place to stay. It it also near the town of Sarteano, so going to the grocery store or lunch is town is very convenient. This property if very close to the A1 so day trips to other cities is very easy and close.

Oase zum Relaxen / gorgeous

Ein idealer Ort, um sich zu erholen. Wir werden wiederkommen!. Das sehr gepflegte Areal selbst bietet ein Schwimming-Pool mit großer Sonnenterrasse, zwei Tennisplätze, einen Teich für die Sportfischerei und eine Boule-Bahn. Streuobstwiese, Olivenbäume, Eichen und Zypressen bilden den wunderschönen Rahmen. Die Außenwelt ist via Wi-Fi Internet-Zugang sowohl im Poolbereich, als auch auf dem Zimmer jederzeit gut zu erreichen. Das Hotelrestaurant bietet ein für italienische Standards sehr gutes Frühstück, Lunch und ein gutes, aber fleischlastiges Abendessen. Den toskanischen Morgen und den Sonnenuntergang hier erleben zu dürfen ist einfach wunderbar. Der eigene Wein und das eigene Olivenöl der Familie Olivi ist ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen (beachtenswert auch der Pugnitello). Slow Food Italien gibt jährlich den Führer "Osterie d'Italia" heraus, der einfache Restaurants verzeichnet, die zum fairen Preis gute Qualität liefern und regionale Traditionen pflegen. Hier gibt es auch in unmittelbarer Nähe (Sarteano, Chiusi, etc. ) gute ergänzende Angebote. Guter Ausgangspunkt, um die schönen Städte Montepulciano, Pienza, Montalcino, Siena, Arezzo, Perugia und Orvieto oder auch Florenz und Rom zu besuchen. Die Orte Greve, Castellina, Radda, Lucca, San Gimignano, Pisa sind allesamt nur mit Mehraufwand zu ereichen.

Herleg atmosfære

Vi var der berre 2 dagar heilt på slutten av bryllupsreisen vår, ein rundtur i Italia. Vi burde ha vert der lengre for det var så koseleg og avslappande. Det ligg sør i Toscana og dagene brukte vi på å utforske området med bil og besøke små middelalderske byer på fjellet. På ettermiddag er det deilig å slappe av med bassenget, spele tennis eller gå ein tur på området. Vingarden produserar mykje herleg, kvalitetsvin (dyr!!). På dagen må du bestemme om du skal ha middag der, det vil vi virkelig anbefale men det kostar 39euro (men det er verdt det) Det er ein bestemt 4-5 retts meny med lokale råvarer som blir spist utandørs akkompagnert av klassisk musikk og ein nydeleg solnedgang over det toscanske landskapet. Det er blant det mest romantiske på bryllupsreisa vår. Du blir kjent med verten, Gisueppe som er sjefen for vingarden og Lo Sovana. Han kan ta deg med på vintur og viser deg vingarden. Vingarden er blant svært få (5-10) i Italia som sorterer kvar enkelt drue for hand. Det er skikkeleg kvalitetsvin dette er snakk om! Det går også an å leige leiligheter, det vil nok anbefalast om du skal vere der over lengre tid fordi det blir litt dyrt å ete for 39 euro kvar kveld. Frukosten var veldig bra for å vere Italiensk. Mindre søtsaker og kaker enn mange andre hotell. Konklusjon: La Sovana var fantastisk, reis reis reis! Vi kjem til å komme tilbake =)
