Buen lugar si vas sorrento

Todo muy bien. Se descompuso el aire acondicionado una noche y es muy caliente. Pero lo solucionaron al proximo día y nuestra estadia fue buena.

Muy buena opción

Es un hotel muy bien ubicado ya que uno está en el centro de la ciudad. El salón del comedor es espectacular así como la sala de estar. El cuarto es muy amplio.

Hermoso hotel, excelente ubicación y gran personal

Es uno de los hoteles más acogedores y hermosos en donde nos hospedamos en la Costa Amalfitana. La habitación cómoda, de buen tamaño, con un lindo balcón y hermosamente decorada. El desayuno y el salón en donde se sirve de en sueño! Mi parte favorita fue la ubicación justo en medio del bello centro, las tienditas pintorescas y tanta vida alrededor. El personal del hotel de lo mejor, Tony de recepción amable, profesional y muy hospitalario nos explicó con gran detalle todo lo necesario para disfrutar muchísimo de esta hermosa ciudad y Giuseppe también fue muy amable. Sin duda, volvería a hospedarme aquí cuando regrese a Sorrento. Muchísimas gracias, fue de mis lugares favoritos.

Las personas muy atentas, el testaurante es precioso..muchas tiendas afuera pero no se escucha la bulla..un poco incomodo si tienes maletas pesadas pero las personas que trabajan son muy amables y te ayudan

Bueno: -Ubicación. -Tamaño de habitación. -Personal amable en Recepción. Malo: -No hay ascensor, hay que subir varios pisos caminando. -Desayuno muy básico y malo. -Limpieza general deficiente. -Ducha inaccesible y peligrosa. No volvería.

Sorrento=Maison Tofani

Una experiencia inolvidable en Maison Tofani. La ubicación exelente, a media cuadra de Piazza Tasso. El hotel ofrece un servicio inmejorable, en limpieza, desayuno, servicio y amabilidad. Muy buena predisposición del personal, siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Sin duda la mejor opción.

Hermoso hotel, magnífico personal

El edificio es hermoso, desde la entrada, el salón del desayuno y las habitaciones. Estuvimos en uno de los loft con balconcito, hermoso, igual a las fotos, muy romántico. La ducha y la bañadera de diez. El desayuno muy rico y con variadas opciones. Pero lo mejor de todo es el personal tan amable y super predispuesto. Quedamos enamorados de este hotel.

Situato in una residenza storica, con vantaggi e svantaggi. Sala colazioni e servizio elengantissimi e di ottimo livello. In zona pedonale, a due passi da piazza Tasso, ma pet questo raggiungibile solo a piedi e senza parcheggio. Inoltre la stanza, ben arredata e piacevole,, era però in una mansarda un po' bassa, e complicata da raggiungere. Se la camera fosse stata ad un oiano inferiore, avrei dato 5 stelle piene

Great location, kind and helpful staff, great breakfast

After finishing our stay in another property in a noisy area, we needed more comfort and quiet and this was a perfect choice after deciding to stay in Sorrento longer. This is one of the nicest places we've stayed. Extremely nice and helpful staff, comfortable beds, great breakfasts, amazing views from the rooftop patio (don't forget drinks and cheese) and more. We had an unfortunate family matter occur back home during our stay and we greatly appreciated the extra care from the staff and their local restaurant (across the ally) who offered take-away service (and the best food we experienced). If we go back to Sorrento, we'll definitely build our itinerary about their availability. Sorry I didnt take more photos but the ones on the website are accurate.

Our stay was amazing. Front desk very accomodating. Got us in early and extended our stay without a problem. Breakfast awesome however some staff members could be more inviting, like a bon jorno or smile bt female attendants . Great location. Air conditioning great. Roof terrace a real plus.

The location is excellent but overall the property is okay. The dining room is lovely but you better eat breakfast early as they do not replenish the food. The room itself was very good but we felt it needed some cleaning.

Sorrento is amazing!

We had a fantastic stay at Maison Tofani! Marilisa was fantastic - she messaged us ahead of time and when we arrived (around 7pm) helped us with dinner reservations at La Maison Douce (Fantastic). We absolutely loved Sorrento and would stay at Maison Tofani again the next time we are in Sorrento. Highly recommend!!

Antonino was a great host . The room was great and breakfast was wonderful. Great boutique hotel.

We used Sorrento as our home base for the amalfi coast and stayed at the hotel for four nights. It is perfectly located near Piazza Tasso, and walkable to the train station, the Marina and restaurants and shopping. It is an historic , beautiful building, very well kept. Despite our room being directly on the narrow shopping street, there was no noise and we slept well. The buffet breakfast offers something for everyone. Depending on your room, the size of the shower could be a problem for a large adult because it is very small. But we would definitely stay here again when in Sorrento.

Very central on main street for shopping and bars etc. staff very helpful. Excellent breakfast in astonishing room. The bedroom was a bit tired and needed a make over especially the bathroom

Great place to stay, very convenient. One this to be aware of is that the hotel is located along a very busy pedestrian street and can be loud at night. Overall the building is beautiful and the breakfast they provide is good.

Great property in the middle of things. Delicious breakfast in a beautiful room. Only negative is noise at night. Bring earplugs, or maybe a higher floor( no elevator). We only stayed one night, but would stay here again:)

I recently stayed at Maison Tofani in Sorrento, Italy, and had an outstanding experience. The staff's hospitality and genuine friendliness stood out—they truly cared about our stay, offering great recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed. The hotel’s location in the heart of Sorrento was perfect, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and beaches. As my first boutique hotel experience in Europe, Maison Tofani exceeded my expectations. The staff's attention to detail, like preparing our breakfast at a time we chose, made our stay feel special. The air conditioning in our room was also a highlight, especially after coming from a hotel with poor A/C. It was a relief to return to a cool room after exploring in the heat. The only small downside was the busy pedestrian street outside, but the convenience of the location more than made up for it. I highly recommend Maison Tofani to anyone visiting Sorrento!

Excellent location staff is welcoming unique hotel with gorgeous breakfast room and quiet despite the location. The only problem we had when we arrived the room was not cleaned

Great location but not the greatest place.

Located centrally which facilitates visiting many spots. Very kind receptionists. Breakfast was very basic. AC not great and room felt cramped. Only har elevator from 2nd floor and upwards.

Perfect location close to the main turistic streets. Difficult to get there if you are with your own car (be attentive with the restricted zone enforcement). Breakfast is just amazing. Port / ferry are accessible easily (including one elevator taking you from a park close to the hotel to the Marina/beaches). Nice stop in you way to expore Amalfi cost and Capri.

The third floor terrace had lovely views. Beautiful mosaic tile floor and a charming feel of the past.

Must stay!

This is spectacular! Sorrento is gorgeous and this is in the heart of historic area. The owner Maria has done a beautiful job. The room, breakfast, rooftop at sunset were all lovely. Do not hesitate to book this property!

Great location in Sorrento.

This is a beautiful hotel. We loved our stay there. The location was perfect for us. We thought the property was very well maintained and the room was large. It was very clean and the included buffet breakfast was a real plus. We would definitely stay here again if we returned to Sorrento. The small staff was very attentive and helped us with excursions, directions and basically anything we needed.

Room was very cold even the sheets! No heat , just AC. Breakfast choices were excellent! Office staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel is in a very good location. Clean, beautiful decor, very good breakfast, comfortable beds, large bathroom, and with many great restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay there again.

Great Place To Stay

We were only here for 1 night but the check in was easy the room comfortable and the location was in the middle of Sorrento. Loved this place

We couldn't sleep 1st night because of too much noice from the outside until midnight even it was heavy raining. Several people shout and talked loud until midnight. They considered change the room, but asked 50 euro charge. This property has too many stairs. One elevator allow only baggages.

Compact room. Wonderful breakfast in a large room with frescoed ceiling. Staff let us stash our luggage after checkout while we went on a day trip to Capri before heading back to Naples.

Absolutely lovely, quaint place off the main square in a lively street. The rooms and beds and amenities were all clean and comfortable. The staff were super friendly, accommodating and helpful. Breakfast is served in on gorgeous dining hall with beautifully painted ceiling and doors. Enjoyed our stay here and recommend it without reservation.

A beautiful old building in a great location. Lovely breakfast served in pan elegant room. We had a balcony and a rooftop terrace to enjoy. Loved our time there.

We were soooo pleasantly surprised by this hotel! Giuseppe greeted us even when our fight was delayed & we didn’t arrive till midnight. The room was huge! Had the most comfortable bed and pillows we have encountered on our whole trip all over Italy. The location is fabulous right in the center of town, yet very quiet. Don’t miss the roof top terrace at day and night. Amazing views. The breakfast was phenomenal and offered many options that were all excellent. The breakfast room looks like you are in a palace with frescos on the ceiling. Convenient to all the main areas and easy access to everything! Giuseppe was the best!

This hotel was truly great. Can't complain about a thing. Beautiful, great location, attentive nice staff, great breakfast, adorable room and bathroom! Bonus: beautiful roof deck.

We were in room 203. The shower was pretty rough as the knob would keep falling off. I pulled the drain plug up because it wasn’t draining and come to find out it was full of hair and gunk. Room looked clean but when we took off our socks our feet were instantly dirty. I had to leave a day early because of work but they would not refund me the day not used because i prepaid.. so I checked out and I’m sure they got double money for my room that night since I checked out early in the morning. Other than all that. The location was perfect to where ever you wanted. I would recommend they replace all the tubs with something wider or jacuzzi tubs or just standing showers. The tubs were not good. They were deep but super skinny.

Maison Tofani was beyond charming. Nestled on a busy street, once you walk through the doors you're in an Italian Oasis. The rooms were spacious and beautiful. The breakfast was great. The only thing that topped all was the service. Exceptional service, incredibly friendly staff.

Cannot get more central to the heart of Sorrento. Parking in the municipal parking (24 hr) is only 5 min away. Room has very high ceiling. Very quiet at night even though it was a very busy street downstairs. Front desk extremely helpful and very friendly. Again can’t beat this location. Will come back again next time we are in Sorrento hopefully soon.

Historical charm

Beautiful historical building with excellent service. Beds were comfortable - king sized (labeled as “double.”). Bathroom was clean, and have a lovely soaking tub, but changing the shower from overhead rain to the handheld or faucet was very hard. Everything in clean and working order other than that. Rooms were spacious and well appointed. Rooftop had a beautiful view and was relaxing. Staff and breakfast were both incredible. Top notch! One thing to know is that cars cannot drive through the street to the hotel, so they drop you off in the piazza and you have to roll your luggage over the cobblestones or carry it for a short distance to the hotel. The hotel does have a luggage lift to take it up to the rooms. They will let you use the lift to get to your room if you have physical limitations; otherwise walking the beautiful stone steps is needed.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Shower was not fully functional. Breakfast was good

Perfect stay

Perfect area to stay.. right in the center! Room quality was excellent: clean, spacious, air conditioned and quiet, comfortable bed/pillows. Breakfast was great! Variety of food to choose from. Highly recommend this location and hotel. Walking distance to great areas of town. We stayed 2 night and would def come back!

Lovely hotel in the absolute perfect location. The room was very comfortable with good AC. Loved the little balcony on our room and the cute rooftop terrace. Breakfast was really really good too and had so much to offer. It was only a few minutes walk to the train station and it was in the perfect location right on the main town streets with all the shops and restaurants. Loved it and would absolutely stay here again!

Great location, beautiful view

Maison Tofani was a great choice for hotel in Sorrento if you are looking for a very central location to dining, shopping and the town center. The complimentary breakfast had tons of options and our view of Mt. Vesuvius from the 3rd floor balcony was stunning as well. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to explore the city and stay right off the main plaza!

Details were really nice, location makes you feel like you are in the center of the city. Ceilings height in our room was awesome. Juliet balcony was fun for people watching. Staff was terrific, welcoming, accommodating. Roof top patio was great to watch the sunset.

Located in the center of the commercial part of Sorrento, surrounded by stores, restaurants and bars. Very close to the avenue so it is easy to carry luggage. The people who work there are always willing to help. There you can enjoy the best breakfast in Sorrento.

Madison Tiffani is a beautiful historic building in the heart of the historic center, conveniently located near Piazza Tasso, great restaurants, the beach, and Grande Marina. Rooms are spacious and clean, staff is very hospitable, and the breakfast is a great way to start your day. I would definitely stay here again.

Good central location but so noisy outside all night long - spoilt the trip as did not sleep well - such a shame as staff and breakfast and building itself was lovely

Great stay in Sorrento

Maison Tofani was a great stay in Sorrento. It’s right in the centre of the cobble streets, close to all the action. Staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel pet turtle is so cute!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Maison Tofani. The architecture and decor of the public spaces were beautiful. The Signora of Maison Tofani was kind enough to make us a boxed breakfast and leave it in our room for the morning we had to check out early. I highly recommend a stay in Sorrento at Maison Tofani.

Right in the middle of the action location. Beautiful room and over the top breakfast in a gorgeous room. Wish we could have stayed longer and take. Advantage of roof top.

The owner is so kind and was very accommodating even though we came in way later then the check in time. The hotel was also beautiful and located right in the middle of the main shopping areas but was not loud.

No parking, no bell service, no room service, no car access, they just do not have the amenities they claim and act surprised when you call them on it. Avoid dishonest hotels and shame on Expedia

This property was traffic, a grand room which was very clean, lovely amenities. We arrived very late having driven from Venice and the hotel was extremely accommodating. The location was in the city center bustling with people and noise was minimal considering. We just shut the big window doors and could not hear a thing. The breakfast in the morning was delightful, just what we needed. Once we circled around the city center parking was simple. We parked in a nearby ramp for $30 a night which was cheaper than what we pain in Serento.

Lots of plusses with one big minus

The building is beautiful, location is great, and the staff were so helpful; breakfast was ridiculously good even despite the covid restrictions (they seemed to go overboard because of it!). My biggest obstacle was that the a/c was not working in the room I booked and, because there is no 24-hr reception, there was nothing I could do all night except sweat (a major issue if you travel there in summer!). They changed my room after after that first night but I had to pay to upgrade it--which seems unreasonable since I didn't choose a room with no a/c to begin with--that does not seem like a good policy but I had not choice because I could not sleep in sweltering heat!

A 5 metri dal centro ( veramente ) si trova questa struttura Dove siamo stati benissimo per un week end con mia moglie e il nostro barboncino , personale educatissimo è disponibile ti mette a tuo agio , la proprietà con un focus sulla clientela ed esperta nella mega colazione prodotto di qualità , esperienza da rifare Consigliatissimo.

Maison Tofani was a wonderful experience. we loved the authentic surroundings of an historic, lovely boutique hotel. The location is incredible, just steps from Piazza Tasso with access to sightseeing, shopping and the best restaurants. The breakfast was very good and the breakfast room was just gorgeous with the ceiling painting enhancing our experience.

Wonderful stay

We had a lovely stay. The location is on one of the busy pedestrian streets so from your balcony there is alot to see! The room was beautiful with high ceilings and nicely decorated. The room is equipt with tea and coffee and mini bar. The bed was comfortable - but as with most king beds is Europe they are two beds joined and for some reason they dont use a mattress topper to hide this. So there is always a crack! The shower didn't drain water away very well which we forgot to mention to management- but they are the only 2 things negative and not really a bug deal! Great stay. Super clean. Great breakfast...lovely friendly staff.

This property is a little oasis among the hustle and bustle of Sorrento. You walk into the courtyard off the busy street and feel relaxed. The rooms are gorgeous and the bed is super comfortable. I was worried about the street noise but they have done a very nice job insulating the room. The air conditioning works very well and the breakfast was nice.

In the heart of Sorrento you will find this lovely building from the 1700 ‘s. Love this place and the staff! Breakfast is first class.

The rooms were spacious and clean. The location was a challenge to reach by car and we had to park at another location. The busy pedestrian street below was somewhat noisy, but the shutters helped muffle the sounds. Their breakfast and service was outstanding.

OUR SECOND VISIT!

We enjoyed a fantastic stay at Maison Tofani. The staff at the hotel were extremely accommodating and gave location suggestions to navigate the area. The breakfast was excellent and options varied daily. This was our second stay and should we return, we will again stay at Maison Tofani. Overall, we had not one complaint.

The dining area was beautiful! The receptionist was helpful with transportation. I wish she provided other breakfast options for those who need to leave the hotel early before breakfast started.

The layout was a bit quirky. No pool. which of course we knew going in, and was a major mistake, but the staff were all genuinely helpful and welcoming. Couldn't do enough for their guests but we did learn the earlier you got to breakfast the better you were fed. Coffee was great! One word of warning, If Expedia tell you they have paid all taxes take that with a very large pinch of salt. If you read the small print in a certain way and with the light turned down Expedia have a get-out line which leaves you swinging in the wind. At this time of year, that is three Euro, per person, per night.

Very average hotel. It is clean and in a wonderful location. But otherwise it is fairly average and seems to be outdated. Maybe some of the rooms are nicer, but ours had no natural light because the window was right up next to another building (an Irish pub nonetheless). Breakfast is good, but typical of hotels in the Amalfi Coast region. A bit disappointing when compared to the beautiful hotels available in Sorrento.
