Great Stay

Terrific small property with all the amenities. Hosts, Sue and Steve were great.

The property was beautiful and excellently maintained. Staff was dedicated, friendly, and helpful. Only negative was a slight unusual odor in our unit. While compact, the unit managed to have what was needed for a comfortable stay. A comfortable reading chair would be a nice addition.

this is probably the best maintained beautiful little resort cabana style inn. the property is well situated with a several different areas to hang out and swim or sun. parking is limited to guest so having friends over that are not booked in is not going to work well nor does the management really like it. but very lovely and a great place to hang out.

An absolue idyllic setting right on the shore . So peaceful and the property is immaculately kept .Sue and Steve ,who manage the resort are so welcoming and helpful with suggestions for restaurants ,supermarkets ,places to visit etc. We will return.

This resort is great! Small run resort with great views. Small cottages that have a patio and a grill to use if you wanted to! The propert is beautiful and very clean! Kayaks and snorkel gear available to use when you want. I will def go back in the future

Outstanding property! Staff extremely attentive and professional. Grounds are meticulously kept, calm, beautiful without the crowds and busyness. Well appointed room that is comfortable with the smallest touches that made the stay unique. Will definitely be back- no reason to stay anywhere else!

My wife and I just spent our anniversary here and highly recommended the Island Bay Resort! Sue was such an awesome and thoughtful host and helped make our stay here wonderful! Pictures and words cannot do this place justice and accurately describe what a gorgeous and peaceful property this is! You will just have to go and see for yourself!!

Beautiful property, abiance is great! The paddle boards were so much fun! Property managers very friendly. We enjoyed our stay in Sunsets cottage very much.

This place was exactly what I was looking for. Quiet and peaceful. The beach was kept very clean and the paddle boards and Kayaks were there for our use at no extra charge. The sunsets at night were spectacular. As soon as you walk out of your little cottage, you’re greeted by water. Steve and Sue couldn’t have been better hosts. They were very helpful in answering any questions I had. If you’re looking for peace of mind and tranquility, this is the place for you. I will definitely be staying here again.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and comfortable. Had a nice little beach and watersports equipment available.

Lovely quiet resort small only a few cottages but in a lovely condition

Quiet and tidy boutique property. Great little beach on property, across A1A is a convenience/gas store. Walking distance is a retail center with WinnDixie. Rooms are essentially individual cottage with kitchenette, walk in shower, TV and little front porch. Dock space for a boat, all water amenities and protected lagoon for floating. Tavernier is very quiet and an easy drive south to Islamorada and all the shoppping and dining. Friendly staff and good place to stay for extended time as well

What a wonderful, little tucked away gem!! We had such a great time here, the property is spotless and beautiful, the rooms were perfect in size and beautifully decorated, and the couple who run the property make you feel so welcome and like your family. We rarely left the property, it was so relaxing to sit on the beach, or take the kayaks or paddle boards out into the water, we even saw, sharks and manatees and got to swim with them right at the resort. We will definitely go back!

The property was very well maintained and beautiful. The management was outstanding and location perfect. You can snorkel from m the shore and see stingrays, fish etc. we will be back!!

Quaint - vey well maintained

Island Bay is small quaint resort where the owners make you feel like you’re family from the moment you check in. It’s gated so we felt safe. You are surrounded by tree cover and plant life which makes it quiet even though it’s off the main road. The decor is perfect for the location. We stayed for our honeymoon and we were welcomed with a bottle of champagne in the room which was a nice touch! The private beach is very clean and kept up with; the chairs on the beach are comfortable. There are plenty of activities (kayaking, bocce, cornhole, etc.) for guests as well. The dock also has some Adirondack chairs which is perfect to watch the sunset over the water. We had a great stay and would absolutely stay here again!

We loved everything about the property. Sue and Steve are excellent property managers and the place is impeccable. We highly recommend it for anyone who wants a quiet, serene stay in a central location for visiting the Keys.

This was just amazing little resort! If I could give it more than 5 starts I would. We had a fantastic stay. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This property is a little piece of paradise. It is an a wonderful spot for a romantic and peaceful holiday. The grounds are spotless and pristine. Sue and Steve are fantastic caretakers and we’re so lovely to talk to. We would absolutely recommend this resort and would return in a heartbeat.

Beautiful landscaping, quiet, nice man made beach with tikis and loungers and umbrellas, and direct water entry. Water clear, better snorkeling than state beach. Clean room.

What a wonderful place! Lauren & Justin have made this a beautiful spot to stay. It was comfortable, clean, very nicely decorated. We had everything we needed. The beach area was also kept very clean every day. Beach furniture is excellent. We stayed for 4 nights. Recommend C&C wood fire restaurant not far. Excellent pizza!

It is a special place, small cottages that are kept in clean conditions and decorated nicely. The even clean and rake the beach every night. Can’t recommend enough!

Beautiful and quiet location with private beach. Grills for cooking. Very relaxing and beautiful! Owners were quick to respond and extremely personable.

Wonderful experience

This is an absolutely beautiful property. Nicely landscaped, gorgeous views of the water, beautiful sunsets, safe and secure. Rooms are comfortable with a kitchen, oven, microwave and fully stocked with what you need to cook. The lovely couple hosting this property were amazing. Very hospitable and helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The cabins were clean and well equipped. The beach area was amazing! Plenty of seating, umbrellas, a cabana, showers, kayaks, paddleboards and a large dock with water access. Would definitely recommend!

The best property in the Lower Keys for couples. Well maintained with plenty of ammenities. Friendly staff, excellent environment for relaxation, kayaking, fishing, etc.

Stayed for a wedding down the street. This place is beautiful and so peaceful. The property is meticulously maitained. The rooms were very clean. Only stayed 2 days, wish I could've stayed for more.

This property is such a hidden gem! Only 10 bungalows, all beautifully decorated, spotless clean. The grounds are so well kept and beautiful. There is a laundry room, kayaks, private beach, dock, hammocks, games. If you’re looking to unplug, this is the place! A short drive to adventures, restaurants etc. gated community and very private. We absolutely loved it and will go back!

If I could give this place 100 stars I would. The grounds were immaculate. The staff was kind. The private beach was awesome! My husband and I loved using the kayaks! We also loved watching the sunset every night on the water in one of the many sets of chairs and umbrellas. Everything about this place was perfect and romantic.
