Absolute ideal location, amenities of Fairfield Mall across the way.

I loved staying at the discovery park. The other visitors were lovely and Kelly the front office receptionist is the most lovely person I have meet.

Kelly the front office lady was amazing. She was very friendly and welcoming on arrival.

Thank you so much to the wonderful lady behind the counter tuesday night who happily changed our booking when i mistakenly picked a cabin with no ensuite which i blamed baby brain as im 31 weeks pregant and need a toilet in the room as several toilet runs easier in the cabin thank you much for your wonderful work

Value for money.

We needed to spend some time in Townsville for medical reasons and the motel unit in the park was excellent value and convenient.

Please work on the wifi, it didn't reach my room in the motel block, i.e., it would cut out 5 seconds after connecting on multiple devices. Stay was great other wise :)

Very noisy location. Room dark. Was looking for spot in the park to sit outside and read, only place was the smoking area. Shower screens need a good scrub.

Advertises wifi, there is no wifi (in the Motel Rooms) unless you stand by the Office and then you only get 1 bar. Great water sports for children but shuts at dusk and then you are stuck in your room with no wifi.

Nice stay near Townsville

Good water park and swimmingpool for kids, super confortable beds, spacious and clean cabin, well equipped kitchen, easy and fast check in, 15min from the ferry to Magnetic Island which is very nice for about half a day (enough time to do everything, see koalas, rock wallaby, beach and snorkeling time), would recommend.

Staff not returning texts or phone calls promptly. I tried to upgrade my accommodations. No response till the next day from them and then i was told that im being rude.. i would avoid this place and its its associated parks . No need to black list me because i have blacklist you.

Der kleine "Wasserpark" war ganz schön. Trotz der Lage direkt an der Straße war es erstaunlich ruhig im Zimmer. Allerdings ist das Mobiliar schon in die Jahre gekommen, zwei Lampen funktionierten zB nicht und eine fiel fast von der Wand. Die Toikettenspülung lief auch ständig nach.

Super family friendly, big pool and waterslides for the kids, walking distance from the cabins, easy to fuel your car up as your leave the park as it's right outside the gate, the cabin was amazing and comfortable, we were lucky to have a little extra grass space to store our car trailer as well so that was a blessing.

Excellent place to stay - comfy bed blankets because it was a little chilly - all the comforts of home - close to shops and food outlets - we will stay here again

Good for what I required.

A neat little room everything I needed for a three night stay. Close to amenities building. Only problem was, the connecting door meant that noise from the other rooms was quite noticeable and I had a noisy neighbor. Otherwise would recommend.

Staff very friendly and room clean and in good condition.

We were booked in for 5 nights. There was no cleaning done in the five nights we were there. I was surprised at this because we were staying in a motel and there was no self cleaning materials available other than 2 sachets of dishwashing detergent and a tea towel.No towels changed or refreshed, bit disappointing. The premises overall were clean and tidy and the owner friendly.

Loved our stay this is the second time we’ve used this location and look forward to returning next time we are in town.

If you are staying here please try their pizzas on Friday and Sat .10/10

I was in room 15, the toilet continued running until I played around with the button to cause it to stop. The TV remote didn’t work at all. I had very little Telstra mobile reception in the room and I would have expected the motel to offer wifi. The bedside lamp flickered. I found a huge cockroach crawling up my arm in the middle of the night. Urgh. With the amount of auto theft being reported in Townsville I think a security gate would be necessary.

Enjoyed our stay and we are Definitely looking forward to Visiting Again We’ll set up for Families all ages😊😊😊

Upon arrival door to our room wide open full of bugs, door doesn’t shut properly have to hip and shoulder it shut. Went away to cairns for a night to come back to door wide open with all of our belongings in the room, went to reception to question why the door was open as house cleaning hadn’t done anything, then we talked about getting a late check out as my flight didn’t leave till 7pm the receptionist was absolutely lovely she said that’s fine check out whenever, 10am cleaner knocking on the door to tell me I had to leave, phone call 2 minutes later saying I had to leave within the half and hour. Previous quests tooth picks on bedside, the bathroom needs a bit of attention also no toilet paper in two toilets, not very happy with our stay

The staff and management were extremely helpful when we had issues with our car. Our cabin was clean and well presented.

ENJOYABLE STAY

EVERYTHING WAS GREAT EXCEPT FOR THE APPALLING INTERNET. APPARENTLY IT HAD NOT BEEN ANY GOOD SINCE THE CYCLONE SO THIS IS UNDERSTANDABLE. NOT EAST WHEN I WAS TRYING TO WORK. THE POOL WAS LOVELY, EASY LOCATION FOR US TO GET TO THE UNIVERSITY AND THE FERRY TO MAGNETIC ISLAND. FRIENDLY STAFF, WELL MAINTAINED. WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN.

Cabin was very clean,newly painted creating a fresh atmosphere, beds bit hard but do able.the only negative is the chairs around table could have a good wipedown..

Incredibly rude front reception lady. The accomodation was not as described and looked very different to the pictures online. An upfront payment of $200 was required as a bond, although credit card details had been provided, this seemed strange and it took days and multiple phone calls to get this put back on to credit card. Overall it was the worst experience I have ever had & I have stayed at a number of places for work and holidays. Absolutely stay far away from this shonky and divey establishment.

Yards are well maintained and kept neat and tidy. The room wasn't cleaned real well before our stay. Carpets in cabin bedrooms need a good vacuum.

Great things for the kids to do with the water park. The cabin was clean and tidy upon arrival. Easy check-in and left without any problems.

A very nice quiet area of Townsville and the property met our needs. Stayed 2 nights here and caught up with our washing in a clean respectable onsite laundry.

The property was a little run down with some electrical issues such as lights not working, fans making loud noises. No microwave! Sleeping facility good along with bathroom facilities.

It was all very good except no hot water in shower block.

Would stay there again.

Very enjoyable and very well located. Management was helpful.

So deducting a little for each disappointing aspect ..... I've got nothing! Absolutely nothing Apparently the cleaner's name was "Ainsley" & what a fantastic job Ainsley did. Not one thing out of place or not spick n span n clean. Bathroom - loved it. Not one spot on the mirror. Water pressure great. Instantaneous Hot Hot water. Toilet clean and plenty of spare rolls if needed Entry door was solid, with a very secure chain. Door was so thick, the outside highway, we literally tried unsuccessfully to hear traffic. Spacious car park directly outside room, undercover with plenty of lighting. Pool within 40 steps... Just simply a great place to stay and at the price it is.. an educated opinion, you will certainly never find better value for money anywhere in the region Thanks all Andrew & Kerry Stewart

No room service/clean towels for the three nights, no Wi-Fi in the room, had to stand outside the door to get signal

Had a good stay except I couldn’t warm up my food as the room didn’t have a microwave

Lovely stay for 2 nights with the kids. Excellent play areas for the kids, with a jumping pillow, play ground, pool and best of all the water play area. They're all fenced in as well. Only downside was the bed was pretty uncomfortable (sloped into the middle), and one of the aircons didn't work.

It was a good stay however there were ants everywhere in my room, on the last night they seemed to be on the bed. It wasn’t the best.

It was just up the road from the uni where I was going to a week long seminar. Close to shops too. Its clean but has seen better days and could use a bit of a face lift and minimal crockery and only teaspoons. So I wanted a basic place - tho a microwave would have been good - and thats what I got.

Really clean and great for the kids

cabin was dated stove and microwave looked like they came off the ark. A couple of extra cups would have been appreciated for visitors to have a coffee. Apart from that it was pretty good, and I would recommend it to other people.

Amazing place everyone was friendly

Kids loved the pool and splash zone.

Everything was dirty and old. There was lipstick on the drinking glasses and ants all through our room. The pool had chunks of moss floating through it and half the equipment was chained off due to lack of maintenance. My kids hated staying there. We left early.

Pool and splash park was a hit with the kids. More shade would have been nice but was ok. Caltex is located at the front of the property.

Loved our 2brm deluxe cabin. Well equipped, fresh, clean, convenient and cheaper than hotels. We were passing through on our way to Isa so straight on the road next morning.

Reception staff were amazing and more than happy to assist with my unplanned early check in request. Cabin was clean, modern and comfortable. The grounds were well maintained and whilst, I didn't use the facilities they certainly looked family friendly. Would definetwly recommend!

Hotel room was generally clean, need to remove bugs from bathroom ceiling. Took money from my credit card without authorization before I had even checked in. Was not told about remodeling of communal bathrooms so had to use dodgy gross demountables. Not very eco friendly with an inch gap on bottom of doors allowing aircon out and bugs and roaches in.

Friendly staff and very good locatiom

The only negative thing that I have to say is the bed needs to have wheel stoppers, so that it doesn’t roll around when you move on it 😃. The cabin was clean, comfortable and the pool area and playground was beautiful our grandson loved the waterslides

Good stay, value for money

Plumbing issue in toilet block. Shower didn’t drain so standing in water in seconds of darting water. Amenities were not cleaned during stay… grounds not kept well.

Had a great stay at the Wulguru discovery park, the staff were lovely and helpful lots to keep kids busy and the cabin was clean and had everything we needed.

I did like the fact that it was pretty quiet, some of the room amenities. like the wifi could be improved, it was like inside the room was a black spot and outside was not. Other than that it suited my needs very well.
