Beautiful Villas close to beach and shopping!

Very beautiful property with a lot of landscaping and palm trees around. Heated pool. Apartment was fully stocked with kitchen and bathroom staff. Laundry available next to apartment. Also property had bikes available and beach staff. Fred property manager was very helpful. I highly recommend this place, family friendly with lots of privacy. Also free WiFi with full streaming access. *****

Good hotel near beaches for a family trip

It was great except we booked a 2 night stay and had to move in between nights. The staff made it really easy but probably shouldn't have let us book 2 nights.

Hidden gem

We loved our stay at Tropical Villas. The property is beautiful. Its small and private and located close to everything. We used the grills, the beach chairs and the pool. It was like a home away from home.

Was super clean and very nice. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Our villa was perfect. We loved the tropical look of the property and how well it was maintained. The location was wonderful, close to the shops, the restaurants, and the beach. The beach was merely 3 blocks away. The property also provided us with bikes, which we used to get around everywhere (the beach, historic downtown area, and even Venice Pier which was a 10 min bike ride). We loved how everything was so close and so much fun to get around on bikes! The beach umbrellas, chairs, water toys, and even a small cooler was also provided. Everything was covered!! It was just great! I would definitely recommend and would love to stay here again if we visit Venice beach again in the future!! ♥️

Beautiful property, like a mini oasis. They had everything you could possibly need and may have forgotten. Loved having the bikes on the property, it's a very bike friendly community so it made perfect sense. Communication with property management via text worked for me, they were very responsive.

Beautiful place

The villa is well situated, being close to shopping, transport, and the tourist sites. We would definitely stay there again. The room have everything chair beach towels bikes kitchen staff love the place these was my second time Es un excelente lugar para gente mayor muy tranquilo aburrido para jóvenes .el room cuenta con todo es muy limpio y cómodo casa room tiene un patio con Barbie q hay bicicletas y el supermercado queda a 5 min lo mismo el centro

They were so accommodating at Tropical Villas. As part of your stay you had beach chairs, beach umbrella, cooler, coffee pods, sand sifter, beach towels (all in your villa). On-site you have access to use bicycles and washer n dryer at no extra charge. The Elite Villa we stayed in had direct access to the enclosed bug free pool. Our room was extremly clean and reminiscent of old school Florida cottage. The grounds were lush and they even had a sweet little wild brown bunny who wondered around the premises. It was 10 min drive to Caperson Beach known for shark tooth hunting. Would definitely stay here.again.

Great place near Venice downtown

Great location, walking distance to the shops and restaurants on Venice Ave (Croissant & Co is great). Very quiet street on a park. This is not a luxury resort but the management has made nice little space to relax and is extremely helpful with anything you need

Great place for a beach adventure.

Loved our time at The Villa’s. Far from new, but clean and fun. We stayed in the elite villa which opened right onto the pool deck. This did mean that we could hear any and all activity at the pool, but it closes early and the other guests respected the rules. All the fun beach accessories were great! We would happily stay again.

Adorable hidden gem. Gardens are lush and tropical…like a hawiian resort. The rooms are very clean with much more room than your standard hotel room. Living and dining area with separate bedroom. Pool was nice and private. There is even an area with travelers supplies in case you forgot something. We used the bikes as well as the equipment provided to look for shark teeth (none to find). The parking is tight but parking on the street is fine. This was our first visit to the area and we fell in love with it. Looking forward to our return visit.

Very nice! Can walk to town and about 3 blocks from beach. We didn’t use the pool, but it was heated.

Perfect location

Would benefit from some updates in the rooms. The mattress was definitely uncomfortable and it was hard to keep the temp consistent with the air unit. That was the only downside!

This property is in excellent location , 5 min away with the car to get to the beach . 5 min downtown Venice, the property is a cute little bungalow with chairs to sit outside and enjoying the evening. There was a private room to get clean towels, clean sheets,etc.

The pool area and overall landscaping was excellent. Quiet area, nice people everywhere.

Quiet and convenient. Clean and room included everything we needed- beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and more!!!

We enjoyed the little pool, and it was so nice to be able to borrow beach toys and umbrellas. My son loved all the little lizards running around the beautiful property.

Maybe just because it was the economy room but reviews way over rated and why I chose to stay here. Could not sleep. Jalousy window in door not sealed and no curtains. Like daylight all night, mosquitos all nite, AC so loud. Loved the bikes, the kitchen sink and dishes, Keurig, towels, Roku tv n easy check in. Tiny pool kids rt by door. Was very quiet thou at nite.

Good time

I was with family and friends. The experience was amazing.

First time staying at a non hotel and it was great! Other reviews complained a lot about the pool, but it’s a small villa and I found the pool to be perfect. My complaint would be the rude and disrespectful guest. The villa has free pool items you can use and these would be left out for staff to clean up..? Have some manners and teach your kids to clean up after themselves. The free washer and dryer, plus laundry soap was a huge convenience! We traveled from IN to FL and that saved me a chore to do when we get home. The beaches, restaurants, and shopping stores were close. And the staff were absolutely wonderful! I quite enjoyed the neighborly “good morning” each day we saw them. Highly recommend booking with them! I will definitely come back to stay with them!

The property is beautiful and well maintained. Our room was so comfortable and there was so much to offer for guests. Close to the beach and local restaurants and shops. My husband and I cannot wait to visit again. Next time we come to Venice we will definitely be staying here!

Everything was very comfortable and clean. Had an amazing time! I’ll back soon Cerca de la playa wonderful neighborhood Súper tranquilo y a 5 min de downtown Venice . Te dan todo lo que necesitas para la beach, toallas protector solar bicicletas los grills son a gas todo es excelente.

We have stayed at this property many times. The location is great because all of the beaches are an easy drive and you can walk down to the strip. We like the kitchenettes, grills, and the quiet residential setting. We also like the free laundry and use of the beach stuff. We have noticed many upgrades to the property over the years. What we don't care for is the loss of cable TV. We don't subscribe to the streaming services so the TV was rather useless to us.

Vacation time

Amazing property 4 tenths of a mile from public beach access. Tropical oasis with screened in pool. Free washer/dryer use on property. Several fee bike usage. Free beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas available for use. Walk to beach or shopping and restaurants in minutes.

Wir hatten 2 wundervolle Tage. Die Unterkunft ist mit viel Liebe hergerichtet worden. Sehr viele Pflanzen. Ein toller Pool mit Moskitoschutz. Hier kann man sich auch abends hinsetzen. Kurzer Fußweg zur Stadt und zum Strand. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gern wieder. Viele Grüße Ria Maertens

A quiet, secluded place in a nice neighborhood with easy access to the beach and downtown shopping made it a convenient, comfortable place to stay. A nice pool and good bikes were handy amenities we used daily. The lovely tropical plantings made it feel like paradise!

This little bungalow had everything we needed, bed was comfy, rooms were clean,staff was friendly and close to the beach and shopping. Not fancy and that suited my daughter and myself to a T. Loved that I could do a load of laundry and make use of the kitchen on the one rainy day we had.

We loved this property from the second we arrived! Beverly, the manager was a wonderful host and made check-in a breeze. We had everything we could have possibly needed. We have found our new go to vacay city in Venice. I've already booked two more trips back to this hotel. Beaches are close, historic downtown with dining and shopping is within walking distance. WE LOVED TROPICAL VILLAS OF VENICE BEACH!!! Don't miss this hotel if in the area!

Wonderful charming old style Florida Hotel

We really enjoyed our stay at Tropical Villas of Venice Beach. The property is older but well maintained. We were looking for an old Florida style hotel before we booked and this was perfect. We stayed in a Garden Villa which has a bedroom, bathroom and separate living room and kitchen. Small patio with 2 chairs and Garden view with palm trees etc. The hotel and grounds are clean and quite. The employees are all very friendly and helpful and the guests that stayed during our time were friendly as well. This is NOT a party hotel so dont book if you are looking for that sort of thing. They have quite hours from 9 to 9 but book it if you are looking for relaxation, friendly staff and a clean and beautiful place. My only complaint would be the wifi. It didnt work well but my 5G worked fine. We will definitely book again and are already making plans. The location is perfect. 0.5 miles to venice beach and about the same to the historical part with restaurants, ice cream etc. Supermarkets just a couple of miles away. Caspersen beach about 3 miles.

This property is immaculately clean. Landscaping all around is tropical & very pleasant. Convenient 10 min walk to beach & shops. Beverly is so friendly & helpful.. if you need any toiletries or clean towels she is right on it!! I did have a problem with the room code a couple of times & couldnt get in, so that is something they need to improve. I would stay there again because of the hospitality & cleanliness.

Relaxing paradise

Our stay here was amazing. This was our second time staying here and will definitely stay again. Beverly is top notch and we couldn’t ask for a more attentive person. Our villa was very clean and had everything we needed and if it didn’t it was easily accessible in the supply room which is open 24/7. Very close to the beaches, shopping and dining. Everyone staying there at the same time we did was also very nice. If we could give them more than 10 stars we would. Thank y’all again for a very comfortable stay 😍

Comfortable Paradise

Couldn’t ask for more. Lots of amenities, they thought of everything it seems. Very tropical feel, convenient to beautiful beaches and shopping/restaurants. Beverly and Mindy was awesome, terrific hostesses. All guests were very friendly. Will definitely stay here again.

Front desk ladies were friendly and polite, our room was closed to the pool in which you could hear people communication in which sound like that people were in my room.

This property was almost perfect and DEFINITELY lived up to its 4 star rating. I'd give it a 9 if I could. Check-in couldn't have been easier. I received an e-mail with a door code so I didn't even have to check-in at the front desk. The room was slightly dated, but in a quaint way, not a ewww way. Downtown was a 10 minute walk to the east, the beach was a 10 minute walk to the west. There were little things that I didn't expect, like a grill in the pool area so I could grill my dinners in the evenings, dipping my feet in the water while I waited. Dishwasher, full sized appliances, king sized bed,,, just am amazing level of "you mean there is a world with stress out there somewhere" relief.

The green garden and the birds signing was very relaxing. This is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beach at an affordable price. Amenities here are fabulous, they have beach towels, umbrellas and chairs, bikes, washer and dryer free of charge. Would love to come back and stay longer.

Beverly , the manager , was a sweetheart. Very helpful with any questions. Great location to shops and beach. Also , very quiet location. Can’t wait to return.

The manger was Great! So helpful with checking in. The place was very clean and everyone staying there were so kind. I would recommend this place over and over!

Tropical foliage surrounds all the walkways to the rooms. Quiet and peaceful and old - fashioned Florida style. Just a few blocks to Venice Ave shopping and restaurants and less than a mile to the beach. For light sleepers, the AC is extremely loud; despite this, we will definitely return on our annual trips here.

Gardens are beautiful. Room was clean. Staff was awesome. There is a park just across the street. Venice Beach is walkable as well as shops/restaurants. Will definitely be back!!
