Beautiful property with all amenities. Plenty of space. Very clean. Lovely staff.

Very good . It's clean, it's geographically located. The museum behind the lighthouse is also free to visit. We will certainly come again.

Tolles Ambiente! Man wohnt in einem historischen Gebäude. Im Haus sind 3 Zimmer, eine Küche und ein Aufenthaltsraum. Die Zimmer sind groß, die Matratze ist top und man hat ein großes Bad und Dusche (nur das Waschbecken ist nur für kleine Leute).

Location great and very clean. Did not like that we needed to share the line and kitchen facilities.

Clean, comfortable and close to everything

Really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and comfortable. Having a kitchen available was a nice extra. Easy walk to downtown and the beach. Would gladly stay here again.

This is a historic location next to the lighthouse. Large shared common areas.

An absolutely stand-out place to stay in Warnambool. I couldn't recommend it enough.

The photographs do not do this location justice! Not only is the lodge beautiful, but it's private, quiet, extremely well equipped and has very friendly staff! We wish we could have stayed longer!

I omitted to check that this would be a shared amenity cottage. A bit of a surprise but really ok

Lovely lodge by the water

We only stayed one night at the Lighthouse Lodge and wish we could have stayed longer. The room and common areas were very comfortable and well appointed. There was even a washer/dryer and laundry detergent available for use. The bedroom and bathroom were thoughtfully laid out and the bed was very comfortable. The lodge is also within easy walking distance to the beach and restaurants in Warnambool. Would definitely recommend!

Lighthouse Lodge

Loved this place - great history, located close to all the old haunts of a Warrnambool 60's child. Within walking distance to a multitude of destinations - train, shops, dining, beach walks - it's very central. The staff we met were wonderful. Hmm yes - loved it1

Adorable

We stayed in the Lighthouse Keeper’s room. It is beautifully presented and the entire house is in keeping with the historically theme but with modern touches like heating! The kitchen is well equipped and the living space large. It is located within walking distance of most thing.

Victorian Holiday

Our stay was amazing. We were lucky to have the whole house to ourselves. The room we stayed in was really lovely, modern and clean and roomy and the bed very comfortable. Of all the places we stayed on our trip on the great ocean road, this was the best and the most comfortable. The shops were also close by. We opted to drive everywhere as the weather was cold and showery.

Wishing we had more time in Warrnambool, really enjoyed the Lighthouse accommodations, especially getting the chance to visit with some folks from Brisbane who were also touring the GOR. The restoration of the lightkeepers home is quaint and spacious.

Lovely location

Great location and interesting place to stay. The three bedrooms have their own bathroom and walk in wardrobe with shared kitchen and lounge room. Fabulous views from the top of the garden looking out to the coast.

A lovely period building, well situated, close to CBD with views across the period museum town and ocean ( from the grounds at the rear) The rooms are period style with excellent furnishings

Wonderful Visit in Warrnambool

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lodge. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was perfect for exploring the immediate neighbourhood as well as the area surrounding Warrnambool. And it was lovely to be able to meet other travellers in the shared kitchen. We were offered some free passes to the Flagstaff activities which were very interesting and entertaining.

Amazing character property

Amazing character property. We were lucky enough to be the only people staying so had the run of the house. Lots of nice touches like high quality soaps&shampoos and a free bottle of wine. We also got free entry to the flagstaff maritime museum next door.

Lighthouse Lodge

it is a comfortable stay after a long day of driving! very tidy and clean, and i like the victorian style decoration. thanks for the welcoming milk at the reception tho' it's a bit hard to find when we arrive at night.

Lovely setting, the kitchen facility is great, but some negotiation maybe required if the residents of the 3 rooms want to cook at the same time. We had no problem though, lovely people!

Great location

Well set up house with individual bedrooms and ensuites. Great location and comfortable bed. We had quiet co-guests but could get noisy with inconsiderate housemates.

Lovely place to stay with loads of history

Loved our stay at Lighthouse Lodge. Very comfy bed and the best pillow I've ever slept on! Our stay was on xmas eve and when we returned to our room after going out for dinner we found a bottle of wine, box of chocolates and a xmas card had been left for us. Such a lovely gesture and one which we really appreciated.

Very close to Flagstaff Village.

Very handy-no driving- for our night tour starting at 10pm. Very good accommodation . Clean and a good setup.

Fantastic accomodation

The accomodation was immaculate, clean, tidy and very comfortable. We liked it so much we asked to stay another day and had use of the kitchen, BBQ and the laundry. We want to come back with friends and book all three rooms for a really fun get away weekend

Nice room, shared kitchen

Situated in a quite place near the beach. Bedroom and bathroom were very roomy, comfortable and clean. There was shared kitchen & lounge facilities, overall the house was very neat. I would recommend to stay here.

History with modern comfort.

This is a character property but has been upgraded in a tastefully modern standard. Scrupulously clean, our bedroom and bathroom were huge, the bedding had crisply ironed sheets and was cosy and warm. The kitchen had everything you could want while travelling. We used the comfortable communal lounge to relax with a wine and look out at the delightful working lighthouse, which does not disturb you at night.

Altes Häuschen des Hafenmeisters, mit hohen Räumen und alles sehr gepflegt. Hübsch eingerichtet und sehr gepflegt.

A lovely old home with all the modern trimmings, set in a perfect location. Of the three night stay we had it to ourselves for two, and there was no problem when there was another couple there. Home away from home could have stayed another three nights, we would recommend it to anyone who does not mind sharing the lounge and kitchen.

A good social hotel where you shaere a livingroom and kitchen whit other guests. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was better then good. Would stay there again. Clan, free wifi an a carton of milk :)

Beautiful views and charming interior

Fully equipped, shared kitchen. Very nice staff. No way to contact front desk from the rooms -- a bit inconvenient.

Historic Charm

Lovely old house on top of Flagstaff Hill in a lovely town on a lovely stretch of coast with hundreds of miles of lovely scenery. What more can one ask for a weekend away from the big smoke? Easy stroll to everywhere, park, pubs, eateries. And cheap for such luxury! The rooms were just lovely with their period furnishings, and yet with the modcons we all expect, unobtrusively included. It's a shared house. A small hotel, if you will. Three spacious rooms, with locks and bathrooms, and a common kitchen and lounge. Some might see that as a detractor, but if you're the social type it's the place to meet and eat and share company with new friends! Or old friends. It might be a problem if you're unlucky enough to have to share with a raucous mob of yahoos, but our random neighbours on the night were lovely and respectful. Your mileage may vary. This will definitely be my new stopover place any time I'm passing through, which is often. A lovely, charming place, in a lovely, charming town.

Cute cottage!

Had a great night at the Lighthouse Lodge! Keep in mind that it's a shared common room set-up so it's not for everybody. But it's a really cute cottage.

Good spot

Close to foreshore. Comfortable, great views. Will recommend. Just need to add "breakfast provided" and it would've been perfect.

Very clean and comfortable

The lady who checked us in was very helpful and friendly. Bed was very comfortable and pillows so soft. Would have been nice to know that was a shared enterance and kitchen set up.

Perfect location. Lovely house.

Beautifully finished, characterful, immaculately presented house. There is a shared well equipped kitchen and lounge area to service the three guest rooms. We were the only people staying so had the whole house to ourselves. Would highly recommend a stay here. Would be perfect for friends to share.
