Immaculate modern farm stay. Nothing would go wrong. Breaktaking view , tranquil location, modern facilities- it has everything you could imagine for the dream farm stay.

The first words out of my mouth when we got there: The tiles are warm! Everything is just perfect. Simon and Eileen welcomed us warmly and we felt very cared for when we arrived on Sunday night without food to find fresh eggs and a loaf of bread to give us an easy, delicious meal before bed. The views of Mt Rolland being illuminated in the rising sunshine provided continued inspiration for the day to come. Honestly, a beautiful place with beautiful people.

Best place to stay at Cradle mountain & surrounds

Home away from Home. Nothing to fault. Very generous breakfast hamper with local produces was a total surprise. I can see and feel a lot of hard work, love and thought are put into this place. To enjoy a cuppa on the back Verandah looking at the Mount Roland - only you will know the feeling when you are there. (We chose Manna Hill for this reason by looking at the photos as we were not sure about the weather in Tassie might stop us from going out. We did not regret at all.) Definitely recommend this place if you are travelling to Cradle mountains and surrounds. Amber (the dog) is so friendly and now my hubby wants a dog. :-)

We loved EVERYTHING about Manna Hill Cottage. If I had to pick one thing it would be the spectacular view of Mt Roland. I really hope to be able to come back here again. Eileen and Simon are wonderful hosts and have thought of absolutely everything to make their guests comfortable.

Perfect in every way

This is an amazing place to stay at. I could not fault it in any way. The hosts are beautiful and the cabins are perfectly decorated, clean, comfortable and fully equipped with everything you might need. The farm is lovely and the views are outstanding. I highly recommend staying in this stunning part of Tasmania.

Beautiful views of Mt Roland in a peaceful location, perfect as a base for a variety of day trips.The cottage was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Simon and Eileen were very friendly and knowledgeable about local attractions. The generous welcome basket was much appreciated and our daughter enjoyed collecting fresh eggs form the hens for breakfast.

Great relaxing farm stay, great for young families

We stayed at Manna Hill farm for 4 days (parents + 4 and year olds). Simon and Eileen were amazing hosts and looked after us well. The kids loved feeding the sheep and chickens and well as playing with Amber their Australian Shepard. The welcome basket was amazing and we enjoyed the fresh eggs and vege's from the garden. The cottages themselves are very modern, well kept and had all the right features we wanted. Loved the beds and the safe and warm fireplace!

Perfect place, in a perfect place.

An exceptional property in an exceptional location hosted by exceptional people. Every detail of accommodation is attended to. Our 'welcome basket' was exceeded only by the welcoming demeanor of our hosts who were, throughout our four night stay, available, responsive and generous in every way. Limitless things to see and do in the area. Good access to Cradle Mountain. We'll be back in summer months!

Manna Hill Farm was incredible. We found it while searching for somewhere close to Cradle Mountain but in the end we didn't even visit Cradle! Instead we just wanted to spend as much time as possible at this stunning place. The hosts Simon & Eileen (and Amber) were wonderful the accommodation was modern, clean, warm with spectacular views of Mount Roland. Would highly advise making this part of your Tasmanian Holiday!

One of the highlights of our whole trip...

Our stay exceeded our expectations! The bungalow was beautiful, comfortable and spacious! The view was breathtaking! At night the natural sounds of Australia were amazing! The hosts were so gracious and wanted to make sure we had a fabulous stay. As we drove up their friendly and playful dog Amber greeted us and there were sheep and chickens. We would love to return someday!

Everything about Manna Hill Farm was perfect. Amazing Hosts including Amber the Australian Shepherd. The views and cottage are Superb. Luxury and comfort. A great base for exploring the North East of Tasmania. 2 nights was not enough. We will be back. Thank you so much The Ryan Family⭐🙂

Luxurious cottage with magnificent views

What a beautiful place to stay! Eileen and Simon have created a dream farm stay. Everything was perfect... from the clean, comfy cabins to the warmth: the fireplace, that underfloor heating, the electric blankets ;), to the welcome basket, to Amber's joyful welcome (the dog) and the newborn lambs, to the view, to the gardens... We will not forget our stay here and will be recommending to all our family and friends. xxx

Memorable, impressive stay

I was amazed by the stunning Cradle Mountain view during the morning of our second day of stay. The host Eileen and Simon is friendly and we received a good welcome gift basket which included with a gift card with my favorite Australia Animal which is the wombat. The cottage is new and well equipped

Do yourself a favour and stay here!

We stayed 3 nights with our 5 year old son and were very happy with everything. Eileen and Simon are a lovely couple who have clearly put their hearts into setting up Manna Hill Farm. Everything has been carefully considered but our favourite features were the top end furnishing, linens and appliances, the real potted plants in each room, the stunning ever-changing view of course, and the fireplace and cosy feel. And Eileen's beautiful fine drawings of local fauna add a very classy and personal touch. The cabins are well positioned for privacy and so you feel it's just you and the mountain, but our hosts were also very personable and available and filled us on the possibility of playmates in the next cabin and took us out to feed the sheep right when we requested it - our little one loved that and frolicking around with the chickens and Amber the dog. We were provided with a very generous welcome basket and stocked fridge - breakfast supplies & snacks. The cabins are wonderful and the environment/grounds are lovely but still a work in progres e.g. the laundry isn't set up yet but Eileen was super accommodating with doing a load for us to dry by the fire. Our shower leaked at the base too which was the only negative, but we were pre-warned and they really couldn't be nicer about these things. We all have very happy memories of our time here and it'll take a while for the vision of that mountain and the mist rolling around in the valley to fade I think :-)

Very recommended, warmth welcome, fantastic view, the best place we stay so far.

We stayed 3 nights in a comfortable 2brm cottage. Exquisite views from the living areas and porch to Mt Roland. A full surprise hamper and some things in the fridge were very appreciated. Comfy beds, well heated for winter and spacious. Eileen and Simon are fantastic hosts and very friendly.

Absolutely amazing everything is perfect. Location and hosts are brilliant. View is like nothing else.

To be very honest, we cannot say what has not been said about the wonderful Manna Hills Farm. The reviews on all the sites say the same thing. We wish we could keep Manna Hills our secret. From the moment they reached out to us before our arrival, from the welcome basket to help us get started, to the expert local recommendations on activities and dining, a 5/5 does not tell the story. Simon and Eileen have poured their heart into the cottages. Every detail has been anticipated. We loved meeting them and learning more about Tasmania. Our daughter loved feeding the sheep and chickens and seeing the wallabys at night. We were sad to leave but hope to return very soon. Than You MHF !!!

Quality in the Country

Wonderful place, wonderful people in a lovely town around an hours drive to cradle mountain but 30 minutes to caves, and other lovely sites. Close to town for dinner, shopping. Cabins are new, posh and very well stocked.

Fantastisk ophold! Lækker ny hytte - hvor alt bare fungeret perfekt og alt interiør var virkelig lækker kvalitet. Flot udsigt og god beliggenhed for endags ture til Cradle Mountain. Kan klart anbefale dette sted.

Een verblijf als een warm bad

Alles klopt en is tot in de puntjes geregeld. En het uitzicht is geweldig mooi. Zeker een plek waar ik een volgende keer langer zal verblijven.

The cottage had very high quality finishes and appliances. The kitchen was amazing, bed and bath linen was luxurious and the view was magnificent. The hosts were friendly and responsive. I could easily spend a week here, relaxing with a book and going on the occasional walk and exploring the local area. The walk up Mt Roland was beautiful. From rain forest to open mountain plains and peaks with a view all the way back to Bass Strait and across the the Cradle Mountain range.

Property had a beautiful view of Mt Roland, excellent location to get around northern Tasmania. We loved everything about it.

The view from the verandah is amazing. The quality of the furnishings is first class and the little extras we had waiting for us when we arrived were a luxury we didn’t expect.

This property was amazing. Sparkling clean and immaculately presented. The owners take a lot of pride in their property and consequently have high standards. A fully stocked kitchen and well appointed with quality appliances, beautiful bed linen and towels. Charming sheep, chickens, and a dog keep children happy.

The cottage was extremely cosy, well appointed and very clean. It had everything we needed and more! The views from the deck were spectacular and the absolute highlight! Having Netflix was a nice surprise. Kitchen is huge considering size of accommodation. Only improvement would be some landscaping / garden around the cottage which I’m sure will come in time as they are very new. Maybe a confirmation or welcome email prior to arrival. The cottage wasn’t quite ready when we arrived, had to wait 30 mins but was a very busy time of year.

This is one of the best places we stayed during the trip. Great n clean place with wonderful view. The hosts are very friendly. Highly recommended! If we come back to cradle mountain area, we will stay again❤️😊

Would highly recommend staying at Manna Hill Farm! Absolutely beautiful and tranquil surroundings. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly, leaving a complementary hamper of food for us to enjoy during our stay. The cleanliness and amenities were even better than that of a hotel! Very affordable. We wish we had booked to stay for longer!

Hosts thought of everything to make our stay comfortable, enjoyable and luxurious. The beautifully newly furnished, cosy cottage and the fabulous view of Mt Roland made us not want to leave. Would definitely recommend this property and I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Great rural retreat - amazing

Most amazing stay. Wonderful in every way. The hosts were accommodating and friendly, the house was beautiful, clean and high end. We enjoyed every part of the trip. And the view - WOW! 2 things in particular - a small personalised gift basket on our arrival and also the sheep in paddock next to us.

Amazing view and beautifully equipped cottage! Every amenity you can think of and a fireplace- perfect for a cold weekend in Tas! The welcome hamper was a lovely touch from the hosts. Had a great weekend at Manna Hill Farm- we will be back for sure!

Amazing property! Must visit

Such a lovely host experience. They really have thought of everything in terms of your comfort. Everything is brand new and good quality. Plenty of room for us (couple) but would comfortably fit more. Netflix - always amazing. Not to mention the AMAZING view. Probably the best location to stare at the beauty of Mt Roland. Absolutely refreshing, welcoming and soaked in sun and nature. As mentioned, best hosts. Thoughtful, kind and helpful. Great with communication and lovely welcome basket. Eileen and Simon are creating a special place for travellers! I stayed here with my daughter as we were making our way around the north west and northern parts of Tasmania. I wished we could have based ourselves in this beautiful location for longer. The chalets, the thoughtful extras, the breakfast, communication with the owners and their recommendations where to eat in the quaint village of Sheffield were all spot on! The Sheffield Pub for dinner was amazing, and the coffee to head off fro the day from the fudge and coffee place was excellent. So much history and well done to the communtiy of Sheffield for you making your town stand out.

Beautiful modern self-contained cottages with breathtaking mountain vista views. Warm, comfortable with all the modern amenities to make a home away from home. Hosts were engaging and knowledgable about the area and willing to cater for our every need.

Warm stay with beautiful views

We had a lovely 2 night stay, beautiful views of mt roland and rolling farm hills. The house way lovely warm and had all the latest mod cons, fabulous reclining couches and netflix to binge watch on a cold winters night infront of the heater

Spectacular view and amazing hospitality

With the view, decor of the accommodation and hospitality shown it’s hard to think of a nicer place to stay. We certainly will next time in the area. The view of Mt Roland is both inviting and spectacular, changing colour with the different light.
