Very roomy flat , clean and tidy with all the amenities you would wish for. Good location with car park nearby and plethora of restaurants nearby. Make sure you ask for car park discount card. On the downside three seater settee for four person accommodation, dripping tap in hall bathroom . But on the whole really good place and would stay there again.

Nice flat but a little dirty

Nice flat but wasn’t that clean, ring marks in kitchen and shower was moldy and corners of room dusty. Living room window was also broken so couldn’t close it. Very comfy bed though

Apartment are ok but not in the best shape. Some windows wouldn’t close proper. When very hot there were no fans and no possibility of having ones brought. Area around is very nice but lots of noise as one of the restaurants plays music many hours a day. Also my location wasn’t great as there was a garbage container just below my balcony which meant I couldn’t open windows too often as flies would come in. Overall the apartment was nicely located but I would recommend a hotel.

Good points - it’s a good location. We felt safe and it was local to Cardiff bay. Car park isn’t too far away and it was £6 a day after using coupons given to us. Free Wi-Fi. Working tv. Bad points - strong smell of cannabis coming from next door so we couldn’t enjoy the balcony/having doors open as much as we wanted to, condition of property was quite poor… property has a damaged en-suite door, kitchen floor needs replacing as it’s a trip hazard, several doors bump into a light/lampshade so this needs removing, cleanliness could have been a lot better… sofa cushions stink of cigarette smoke, curtains are so dirty/stained, toilet seat in en-suite was so dirty/stained . It was very hot in the apartment with just a tiny fan available so more fans/air con needed for summer and more towels needed.

Great location. General lack of communication- only replies to emails were after our arrival. The tv could do to be mounted higher up but overall a good little place to stay. I would stay again. Thank you

Spacious, clean and had everything we needed for 3 nights. No complaints.

Getting into the apartment was a bit of a hassle on the the check in day. There toilets not cleaned well. The mattresses needs replacements. The apartment was a bit dusty. Not enough lighting in the rooms especially near the mirror. Night gets very warm in summer and there is no ac. Too much of traffic noise if leave windows open. The kitchen needs some upgrading as it looks very worn out and the cooking pots and pans probably need replacing. Having a kitchen and the washer were really convenient and that’s the good thing about this place besides the Sainsbury shop downstairs. Overall, It was a pleasant Stay.

Love the location on Cardiff Bay, near the Senedd, the restaurants and Torchwood HQ. Our sat nav had trouble finding the affiliated car park but we got there in the end.

Go to the Premier Inn instead. Cheaper and cleaner

Would not recommend. Although the studio looked clean it felt dirty. It was dark and the water wouldn't drain from the shower tray. We informed them of this but nothing happened. Bed was really uncomfortable with exposed springs in mattress,there was a huge dip in the base. Huge scratch mark on the headboard. The decking on the balcony was brittle so you couldn't really sit out there. Communal areas such as the entrance was dirty and I wouldn't have felt safe staying here alone. Had to wash mygs before using as there were brown stains and the worktop was chipped and unhygienic.

Great location

Excellent communication throughout. Fantastic location,easy walk to city centre or no6 bus almost outside the door or a boat trip round the bay and up the Taff to the Principality Stadium. Apartment was spacious and had everything we needed, with so much choice of eateries on the doorstep at Mermaids Quay no cooking was necessary but there was a full sized oven, microwave and toaster in the kitchen.

It was a good place. Close to every key facilities. It was a great stay. Only thing was i was not very clear with the parking instructions. Otherwise it is good

Couples stay

If you don’t want to be able to have communication with anyone on the outside world due to having no cellular connection or WiFi then this is the place to go, the overall apartment was ok but the bed was horrendous every time you moved you would wake up. Great spot though in Cardiff bay!

No Communication.

Payed £20 for an early check in. Could not contact anyone as described. No one available to speak, no one replied to messages left for help. Only got in through people leaving the flats luckily. Should be refunded the £20.

Good location

Second time staying here and will book here again if staying in Cardiff Bay. Comfy and clean. Everything you need is in the apartment. Sainsbury’s next door which is really handy, a minutes walk to all the bars and restaurants. There is also a bus stop under a minutes walk which takes you right into Cardiff Centre

Bad property management !

Didn’t receive an email about access to the flat . Tried to call several times, no one answered or bothered to call back . Dismal customer service !

Did the job for a lads trip

Basic apartment, but you get what you pay for. Beds were comfy and clean towels provided. 20 min walk to the city center. Mold in the shower in the en-suite. Some renovations going on a the moment so all the floor is covered in plastic. A very rude awakening on our last day when we had drilling right outside our room at 0830, zero consideration for guests staying. Lots of noise from other guests in the evenings.

Great location - if you can find it!

Great, clean apartment in a fab location down on the quay. About 25 mins walk into Cardiff centre. We had apartment 7, with a view of the Millennium Centre and down towards the quay. The difficulty with being on this side of the building was the 6am deliveries to the Sainsbury’s Local below. Don’t expect a lie in! Finding the apartment was a trial and not what we needed after 4 hours on trains. Despite what looked like good instructions we spent 20 mins in the area and had to make a call to get extra info. Once you know it’s above the Sainsbury’s it’s simple to find, but the postcode covers a big area and the spot in the map linked in instructions shows the building on the wrong side of the road. While clean, the space needs some good maintenance. The loo flush was unreliable, bedroom door handles not working and chain not attached to the plug meant using a knife to let the water out. The windows don’t shut properly either, making it draughty. Despite the issues, this was a great spot for a family city break. We loved the dining options at Mermaid Quay and the space to relax after a day of sight-seeing. Sorting better location instructions - a What3Words would nail it - would have got us off on a better footing!

I cannot rate this property highly enough.Apartment was spacious clean and exceeded my expectations. Fully equiped kitchen fridge/freezer oven /hob microwave, washing mch/dryer and dishwasher....what more could you need. I would definitely recommend this apartment and hope to return soon.

Great location

The apartment was in the perfect location with a fast charger outside the door and discounted parking nearby. However the apartment could do with a good clean and checking before renting. There was only a very rusty frying pan, no trays for the oven, only1 fork between the two of us and the tv didn’t work. The person on the phone was excellent and did her best to rectify the faults all except the tv which couldn’t be fixed until Monday. Not her fault. We cut our stay short and left on Saturday morning a day early. We were very disappointed.

Great apartment in a fabulous location

Walking distance to the bay. Stones throw from a local supermarket, the millennium centre. Good communication and simple access to get into apartment. Great that they offer discount parking which was just across the road. Apartment clean and tidy and ideal for a few days away in Cardiff,especially for the Cardiff bay area. The apartment was a little dark,with very little natural light but thankfully didnt spend much time in the room. So wasn't an issue.

Only problem was finding the way in to the property but once we phoned good instructions over the line.

Weekend away

The flat could do with up dating. Did not sleep at all as the mattress had lost its spring had a dip in it very uncomfortable to lie on Hanse no sleep. We had no hand towels at all and no floor mats the shower and bathroom floor was very slippery and I nearly fell down

The Apartment was excellent (although Apt 34 overlooks a 24hr Premier Store that did seem to attract some early hours noise issues). Entry is situated between Sainsburys Local & Well Pharmacy). The location excellent also. - Mermaid Quay is just round the Corner. The parking agreement with Q Park (just over the road) is spot on - we liaised with them & they said they would supply extra discount vouchers if we needed to exit more than once per day. My only issues were that I had to chase Urban Space for access codes to the premises which were not given until less than 24 hours before travel. As a very organised person I found that stressful. Also, having given them a 3pm arrival but arriving over an hour early I rang to ask if the Apartment was ready but they checked & I was told not until the time specified. We had no issue with this & went for a Coffee but on arrival at 3.05pm we were told it was still not ready as they had been given an arrival time of 4pm. This left us waiting in the Lobby for over 30 mins. Urban Space staff were very friendly by phone, as was Roberto who met us at the Apartments. I would have no issue booking with Urban Space again in the hope they've just tweaked the Admin side for next time.

The property was very clean and admin booking was excellent; however, the first night we both had an awful sleep as the mattress which has springs on one side, was placed on the bed upside down, hence the uncomfortably night. When I turned the mattress the correct way the next morning, it was filthy and a huge burn mark, which is probably why it was the wrong way around. I have photos to show if required.

We had a wonderful Time in this appartement. It was really rommy and confortable.

Great location, spacious flat

Very nice flat! Spacious, has a balcony. Kitchen was decent, could use a few more utensils for cooking and such. Good communication and easy chk in process. Very good location! Easy bus ride or walk up to city centre. Was rather hot inside the flat and the fan did not work. All in all, good stay and would recommend.

Excellen5 apartment, superb location

A superb apartment in a great location! I had a studio but it was perfectly good for one or possible two with a double bed, a 2 seater # Settee a large wardrobe and a well fitted kitchen plus double doors onto a good size balcony (a unique ana panoramic view of three brick walls but if you want a nice view you have to pay for it). Improvements? They provide a starter kit of tea, coffee & sugar but some washing up liquid and a sponge would have been useful as I had to go out and buy them (Sainsbury's next door & Tesco round the corner).

Great place to stay. We traveled with our 1.5 year old and stayed in an apartment with a separate bedroom. The flat was everything we needed and our toddler loved watching out the window at everything going on below. We would stay here again.

Central apartment - convenient and affordable

Fantastic location right on the bay, clean and comfortable apartment. Easy initial access through key code and affordable parking £6/ day provided in nearby multi story. Highly recommended

The apartment is conveniently located with nice restaurants and a carpark nearby. It is also clean and spacious for 2 of us. The bed and pillows are comfortable too. It would be perfect if the oven glove is more heat resistant.

great value for the money, spent 2 nights in this apartment. excellent communication from Tia, everything was prepared, got a discount that saved me £18 for the parking. Definitely would use it whe i go back to Cardiff. Great service. Well done!

A Great Stay

We recently stayed at Quayside Appartments, which was located in a great spot, just a short walk from the bay. The apartment itself was spacious and well-equipped, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well-stocked with utensils and appliances, and the bed was very comfortable, so we slept well both nights. The millenium centre was right on our doorstep as well as the local restaurants, which serve a variety of cuisines. **Pros:** * Great location * Spacious and well-equipped apartment * Comfortable bed * Lots of things to see and do in Cardiff Bay **Cons:** * The apartment is located on a busy street, so there is some noise from traffic. * There is no parking available at the apartment, but there is a pay-and-display car park nearby. Overall, we would definitely recommend this apartment to others.

Excellent central location. Apartment was well equipped but the fridge was smelly.

Clean and tidy apartment with nice balcony! Kitchen had everything you need including a little cleaning kit. Beds were 2 singles pushed together and with a duvet that zips two singles together, but nice enough. Bathroom clean and tidy with shampoo, conditioner and body wash available. No hand towel or soap so had to use the body wash and bath towel. Would stay again if in the area.
