Great place to stay

Always a great place to stay. Great location and well appointed apartment. Needs to be supplied with washing up liquid and a cloth as dont have time to shop for necessities whilst there.

The staff were great and Roy, the manager, was friendly, attentive, and helpful. The room (suite) was wonderful and had all the amenities we could want. The property is located in a quiet section only a block or so away from many restaurants and shopping. Transportation by bus was nearby and the trains were within a short bus ride. We would gladly stay there again.

Loved the stylish Italian design and the Amalfi Suite layout. It felt luxurious. It was also really centrally located just off thr high street. It was very comfortable. We had a couple of basic cleaning issues, which were not corrected during the stay, which has resulted in us not giving 5⭐️ for everything.

Just returned from a long weekend in Cheltenham and stayed here in the tuscany suite. Was great value for money and would love to come back again. Booking was easy and updates / information prior to the booking was good. On the day we were waiting to check in, got a nice courtesy call giving us all the information we needed for our room and that the air con had been left on to cool the room. We found the hotel easily enough and the apartment did not disappoint. Very spacious and had everything we needed. Everything was clean and tidy and the bed / furniture was nice quality and comfortable. Location was perfect and was a short walk to the brewery quarter and town centre. Would recommend to anyone and will hopefully be back soon!

We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment. The location was ideal; the apartment facilities were great; and it felt very safe with the front lobby. Just needed the curtain fixing in our apartment. Good communications prior to our arrival.

Perfect stay and service

there was a few things that let the property down in our opinion. dirty cups on arrival. doors ti bedroom needed re painting aa there are scratched whilst the sofa is fashionable its its not very comfortable and very low to the ground. my husband had to sit at the dinning table as he couldn't get out of the sofa. bathroom was clean shame about the large boken tiles around the bathtub. was good to have milk in the fridge on arrival. didn't get entrance code till the morning we went and was told when i checked in it would arrive via email the day before. when i rang i could get an answer and was constantly being cut off the bed was comfortable and so were the pillows. there was a lovely glass coffee table in front of sofa but we moved it so we didn't hurt our self walking through the apartment at night.

Just book, you’ll love it.

First time booking an apartment and no regrets. Large main room and bedroom as well as excellent bathroom. Everything you need to either eat in the apartment or take advantage of the multitude of bars, restaurants and cafes in the Town centre. Large screen smart TV with a the usual apps already installed. Full crockery and cutlery with coffee machine, microwave, kettle and large fridge with freezer compartment. Communication from Roy the manager was superb and ensured everything went smoothly with code for both exterior and room doors. Couldn’t be simpler. The added bonus was the carpark that was described as a minute away…..it isn’t it’s actually attached to the building so a real winner. Overall if you are doubting yourself, don’t just book. You’ll not regret it 👍

Perfect stay in Cheltenham

We had a perfect stay at the Strozzi Palace in Cheltenham. The building is very well located, close to the High Street, shops and restaurants, but yet at a tranquil and silent comer of the city. The apartment is beatifully decorated, well equipped and impeccably clean. Self check in was super easy. Highly recommended.

Nice stay great location

Overall it was a very nice stay, the room (Sienna) was luxurious with excellent kitchen facilities a really comfy, big bed and a nice looking terrace (although the rain put paid to using it). It is situated perfectly with great independent eateries and bars within a short walk. Parking is a little difficult and if there were some way of communicating exactly when a space would be free that would be more convenient. The lack of a working freezer compartment was the only other downside although the helpful and friendly Ray in reception assured us this would be fixed next time we visited and we can certainly say we would stay again!

Roy was the manager on duty when we checked in and out. He helped carry one of our suitcases to our suite! He was awesome and helped out with some local areas to dine and visit. The suite was excellent, slippers and a robe waited our arrival, along with coffee, hot chocolate, tea and milk. Was very clean and a comfortable kind size bed. We loved it.

Really lovely stay, paid extra for parking very secure and a few steps away. Suite was lovely and clean with everything you need. Central to town and a short taxi to racecourse. Will definately come back. Well done Strozzi

Lovely place to stay! Beautifully decorated, highly recommend!

Lovely stylish apartment with bedroom; living room, private bathroom and kitchen facilities. Perfect location for the town and with parking close by. Easy self check in and out. Very comfortable and nice luxury touches with robes, slippers, wide choice of tea and coffee, and an array of quality toiletries. Would definitely return. Would appreciate instructions for Nespresso as coffee came out cold. Other than that it was a perfect stay, many thanks.

Suite rooms rather than just a bedroom

Fantastic stay for a few days, clean and comfortable. The only thing (and its very minor) is that it wasn't very clear how you could get access to the property, I had to call, which was fine - I just missed from the communication that I needed to. Perhaps just texting or emailing the code to the booker?

Lovely apartment!

Great location, apartment was cosy, clean, comfortable and fun to look at! They have a couple of parking spaces too which was super convenient. Great communication with the owner/manager. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent stay in Cheltenham

Very comfortable centrally located Cheltenham serviced apartments. Very good facilities in the room. Air conditioned. We were visiting the Cheltenham Science Festival. The on-site manager, Roy, was very helpful throughout our stay.

Stylish apt near centre of town

The Amalfi apt is small and very stylish. Well equipped, great bed and very comfortable. I will definitely stay there again when in Cheltenham.

Location is excellent. Accommodation is great only thing lacking is kitchen facilities there is a fridge, microwave and toaster need something to cook eg an air fryer would be great (we took our own). Will definitely stay again. Thanks

Tuscany Suite

Booked this property for an overnight stay, was very happy to have a call to say we’d been upgraded to the Tuscany Suite. This suite is on the second floor, beautiful accommodation and well equipped. The property is centrally located and next door to a pub, but there was no noise or disturbance. Highly recommend and good value for what we paid.

Good overnight stay

Property in very good condition with the only problem being the A/C had packed up. In fairness, they had telephoned me to warn me and put additional fans in the room. Well equipped with toaster, coffee maker a selection of teas and a microwave. Suggest if staying overnight you bring some orange juice croissants etc for the morning.

Beautiful building. Small well appointed units. The unit was clean but the fan was very dusty. The unit had a ln excellent tea selection. Sugar and milk provided. As the unit has a microwave, we could do some quick meals. Would have appreciated salt and pepper. Overall very good stay for 3 weeks

Very small issues

The only reason it isnt perfect score is that it took a while to communicate with someone to get access we had to wait by the front door. Thank goodness it wasnt raining. The other small thing was that ut took a few days for new batteries for the remote to arrive.

It was good overall but too noisy on the apartment above partying.

Really like these suites, and will stay again. Stayed in the Tuscany suite - lovely kitchenette/sitting/dining area with Juliette balcony. The bedroom is beautiful and tucked away to the side - only gripes are that there is no window in the bedroom and we found it very hot despite opening doors to get air from the dining area in. Prssonally we found the pillow uncomfortable, but that is personal taste. The air conditioning in the kitchenette did not work ( had we been there longer we would have spoken to someone.) despite these minor niggles, the suite was beautifully presented, plenty of tea & coffee plus fresh milk, and incredibly clean.

Stunning apartment!

Such an amazing apartment and so well located for our mother and daughter stay for the run up to Cheltenham races! Would thoroughly recommend stunning!

Great value, recommend it.

Good facilities for making our own breakfast. Loved having a cafetiere and teapot. Fresh milk provided. Our stay was complicated by adding a second night, then having to choose a different suite because the first booking wasn't free. This made our interim day a bit more difficult with 10 am checkout and 4 pm check in. I didn't get any timely responses from anyone I emailed but the on site staff in the morning were great and even moved our case for us and let us in to the new room as soon as it was ready. Both were clean. Amalfi was lovely. Palermo great for star gazers. There were no windows but a HUGE skylight (closeable so light pollution no problem at night). Palermo had a whiff of sewage so there's an issue that needs sorting there.

A special stay

We had a fantastic stay. The accommodation is central and beautifully decorated and comfortable. We stayed in one night to make the most of being here. The only negative was that I didn’t received the security code prior to arriving. Luckily I was able to contact someone when we arrived. Our suite was ready early which was an added bonus.

Please refund me for being charged twice!

Strozzi Palace was superb. The only drawback was being charged twice for this accommodation, due to Hotel.Com's failure to pass on my payment made in advance on 29 November to Mansley. And now 2 weeks later I have still not been refunded. The Hotel.Com Customer Services rep's are not particularly empathetic, maybe that is a cultural thing, maybe not!

Fantastic apartment

Stayed for a night in the Tuscany apartment which was spacious, with a separate lounge/kitchen and clean apartment. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment had everything we needed including coffee and milk. It is well located near restaurants and shops and the coach station. I'd definitely chose this apartment again

Comfortable room. Stayed just for one night to go to a party and was just what I needed. Very easy checkin and checkout.

Great Location

Fantastic location, right in the centre of town, loads of parking nearby. Perfect place for a few days nice having mini kitchen. Really clean and secure entry to the building. Will stay again when in the area.

Perfect location and excellent rooms!

Perfect location. Parked in Chelt Walk carpark which is a couple of minutes walk away. You can pay by mobile app so easy to extend your parking each morning. Bed very comfy although squeaky. Wasn't disturbed by other apartments or road noise. Despite a large kitchen area there is only a fridge and microwave so wasn't able to do any cooking whilst there.

Brilliant room was stunning thanks to all that made our stay lovely.

It was great. One tiny issue: too hot and we could not open a window!!

We thought the property had a lot of character. We also liked the coded key system. It was close by to the local shops and very peaceful when inside. No disturbances. Great amenities and comfortable.

Great apartment!

Great apartment in a central location for restaurants and shops. Also easy to get in and out of Cheltenham to explore the Cotswolds and beyond. The apartment was spotlessly clean and spacious (we had the Tuscany room) and the supply of milk, orange juice, bread and cereal etc was great. Very few negatives really but the car parking not ideal, it did get a bit hot in the room and also during the night it sounded there would be sounds like a generator kicking in and the room would vibrate a little. We got used to it though! All in all it was really great value and we would stay again.

Efficient booking in facility on line, with clear instructions as to how to access the room. The room was very clean and had bread , milk, cereal etc provided.

Great place,stylish and comfortable. Close to town but quiet enough not to know. Lots of pubs and restaurants within minutes (in fact one nice pub next door!). Recommended.

The apartment is so lovely. It has everything you need. The kitchenette is perfect, the bathroom was large, the bed was huge and comfortable. The sofa was also comfortable. It is very well done and tasteful. Although I was there with a friend, it was also a perfect stay for a couple so I plan on taking my husband back there!

Great location. Lovely apartment, so much better than a hotel room.

I found two buttons in the bed and a yellow stain on the sheets. Obviously with the whole covid situation made me feel very uncomfortable and I left. The cleanliness was not great , in the process of complaint and to get refund .. as we didn’t stay but as on now no one is replying!

We have stayed at the strozzi many times over the years. We always enjoy the many comforts provided, and it is well located to enjoy all that Cheltenham has to offer.

La chambre était assez petite. Le petit déjeuner relativement sommaire (en fait pas de service de petit-déjeuner mais des vivres prévues à cet effet). A 10:00, les clients se font "mettre dehors" par les nettoyeuses. Pas une minute supplémentaire, pas de possibilité de "négocier".

Not recommended. Minimum service!

- The booking requires pre-authorisation payment of £200, even though booked through third party. This is unacceptable, I did not book through third-party to pay a second pre-authorisation. - The phone number provided does not answer even after trying to contact you several times out of business hours. - Very disappointing "breakfast": you need to cook breakfast yourself. The "fresh pastries" for breakfast must be requested. They are bought from Tesco/Waitrose the day before. The hotel only provides cheap toast bread, one small milk, cheap marmelade in plastic (how hard is it to buy Bonne Maman mini jars?). I did not receive my croissants the last day (why?). No espresso machine, only cheap pre-grounded powder coffee, or instant coffee. This is worse than a PremierInn, which is a shame at that price. - The Wi-Fi keeps disconnecting and is using an insecure protection (as shown on my laptop) - The bedroom is small compared to the rest of the flat. I would expect a bigger bedroom, in accordance with the size of the living room. Also, having the bathroom far from the bedroom is not the most optimised layout. - The TV in the bedroom is really bad. Very small, the sound is bad. - The BOSE speaker has no battery. Suggestion to invest in a battery powered one to move it into the bedroom without unplugging everything? - The mini soap bottle is not replaced daily when only half of it remains. Don't take 2 showers a day! - Dusty environment. - A pub is just below the bedroom. Noisy!

Lovely place to stay

Lovely place to stay for the weekend and very central to all the amenities of Cheltenham. Very clean and lovely continental breakfast.

Very near the centre of Cheltenham. On catch was parking was in a nearby council car park with pay and display. The only problem was for a visitor the UK, the machine didn’t take credit cards, old one pound coins. So be warned,you need at least £10 in new coins on the first day.

Loved the Strazzi Palace. Very romantic and we will certainly be back. Just about everything had been thought of. Loved the walk-in shower, 50"TV, breakfast already in the fridge was welcomed as we had a very early start. But the best of all was pressing a button only for the ceiling to pull back to reveal the nighttime skyline. Lovely
