Great stay and wonderful view

Great location, a 10 minute walk around Currumbin point to a couple restaurants then into the wonderful Currumbin Surf Club. lovely pool and spa. As others have mentioned lots of stairs.

A few more rules than usual for short term accomodation and a little tired with comfort but perfectly fine for a short stay on the Gold Coast

The property was convenient and walkable to everything we went there to do.

Beautiful view. Apartment was spacious. Well fittted out. All amenites worked. The aprtmwnt was lovely. It was exactly as expected.

Great veiws

Spectacular view of the water, the boats, dogs, watercraft and people below. Occasional welcome visit from birdlife on the balcony. You could holiday happily without ever leaving the apartment! It’s fully appointed and stylish. Great beds and showers. Wish list would be for suitcase racks, larger disc of soap, a rattling bedroom door, assistance with entering and departing complex outside office hours, light in stairwell not working. Also a seat outside entry to wait for Ubers etc. Would have liked to have known that pool was not available for use during our stay. Lost count of how many stairs to get to the room but it is significant enough to contemplate next outing and that bringing a small suitcase only is recommended. Hosts were very friendly and eager to assist and overall our stay was superb. It’s a well managed and well loved complex. We were able to get a late check out which was so appreciated with our late afternoon flight. Sad to leave.

Nice place… the famous stairs are great exercise. Beautiful view from clean n comfortable appartment. Pool area is awesome. N walk to the beach nice beautiful. I’m sorry I only got to see a small part of swell festival. Just remember you are straight under flight path… didn’t annoy me too much but it’s good to know. Everything else except carrying my heavy arse suitcase up n down those stairs was fantastic..would go again.. n will.!!

Don’t lock your Keys in the unit and go into the garage after hours, because you can’t get out. Otherwise nice stay🙂

Could make updates…

Great location but the apartment cuts corners in silly ways. No bed head? One half roll of toilet paper- but the offer to buy more at reception. Rooms are spacious but in need of an update. Over all I’d suggest this would be a great place for families.

Great place very peaceful everything close lots to do

The only thing we did not like was the stairs leading up to our first floor apartment. Also the shower head in the en-suite needs fixing. Otherwise it was excellent.

Good outlook over the lagoon and beaches. Close to Cafe's and generally good place to chill out

Great location, helpful staff great views

The apartments are in a great spot just off the highway and close to the water. Great place for families. Due to the age of the property there are no lifts so people with young kids or those with mobility problems may have some issues. View from the pool and spa we’re amazing at sunset. Would definitely stay again.

Great location with a fabulous view, Way too many flights of steps however.

Our apartment was wonderful. Great view of the ocean . Very friendly and welcoming when we arrived. Lovely pool spa and gardens .

Sunny break

OK apartment - Lazy Boy Chairs need new coverings (leather is frayed on headrest)

This is an older style of property but it is clean, spaciouswith big balconys with views over Currumbin alley. The property managers are on call and respond immediately. The only detractor is the odd access and layout of rooms, having to enter and exit through the carpark each time which required a key

Views to Die For!!

My stay at The Hills Apartments was part work related and part family holiday. The apartments are in a fabulous location with views to die for!! The apartment i was meant to be in had some hot water issues at the time so the apartment i was allocated was one not used often and on my first night and following morning i discovered a few issues but with a quick call and txts to Michelle and Peter everything was sorted promptly and i even came home after my first long day at my course to a new bread board with a bottle of wine and chocolates for the inconveniences i'd experienced. These guys were terrific and made my stay very enjoyable. I will definitely recommend and stay again. I stayed in the back block which overlooked the pool and had views right up the coast. Lots of stairs involved which i love but may not be for everyone. Really the only downside is the flight path of incoming air traffic but with that view even that didn't bother me too much.Cheers

Comfortable accommodation in a good position, very clean, the managers are lovely and the facilities are well maintained. Bed was good, amenities as described, lots of cafes down the hill and the walk to Palm Beach was easy. Good access to public transport and taxis/uber freely available. Only issue I found was that the planes from Gold Coast airport are very low as they come across, especially if there is low cloud. The noise they make meant that I couldn't have the balcony doors open and watch the TV in the evening, I also needed to sleep with earplugs. It is only for a short period each evening but there were more planes than I was expecting, was not my memory of Currumbin in the past.

Relaxed weekender

2 Br apartment was roomy and well appointed. Managers were very helpful and provided extra car parking which was spacious and under cover.Very quiet and great location

Good location overlooking Currumbin Creek and near to the Alley. The property is showing its age but, aside from traffic noise, is a quiet place with sensational views to the north.

Amazing views

Lovely spacious apartment with amazing views of Currumbin creek, and Surfers Paradise. Loved the friendly kookaburras that came every evening for a visit. The planes come in very low straight above the apartments which was very interesting. Close to the beach and cafes. Downside to this see apartments are the fact there are no lifts and had two flights of stairs to get up to get to the apartment and another two flights of stairs to get to the pool area, which did have amazing views of the Coast.

Beautiful Location

Avoid room 56 if you want privacy. It's in front of the pool and everyone in the pool area can see into unit. Noise from several permanent residents made our stay unpleasant. Couldn't use balcony because of noise/music/ciggarette smoke coming from adjacent unit. Unit is dated and some appliances are 20+ years old. Floor was filthy. Unit is near a main road so traffic noise is noticable when bedroom windows are open. Staff were wonderful and the facilities spotless. Have stayed 3 times but never again in room 56.

Great view of the Surf

Fantastic view.. great beach.. awesome coffee at the local coffee/surf shop.. locals made us feel very welcome we would definitely come back to Currumbin beach and stay at The Hill apartments

Nice apartment with great views of coastline

For the money this apartment was good value. Close to airport, beaches, public transport etc and had facilities eg BBQs, pool and spa included. Unit was comfortable and spacious. Only problem was we were in the direct path flight of all planes landing at Coolangatta....something to think about if you are not an early morning type.

great views of Currumbin Ally

very accommodating and friendly staff, Maintenance work was being undertaken during our stay and the staff offered us another room but with a better view, also very apologetic about the inconvenience ( my wife and I with two kids, 2 and a half yo and a 9 months old,. The stairs up and down from the car park to the apartment were a bit of an effort after a while but not too bad. For us with kids we probably wouldn't stay there again until the kids are a bit older, otherwise a great place to stay and enjoy the best of the Gold coast with sensational views of the coast and Currumbin alley, just make sure you speak with the staff to ensure what you want to get out of your stay, views etc.

Lovely apartment, overlooking the ocean.

We only stayed one night but the kids were asking if we could come back. We had a lovely view of the water and it was a short distance to the beach. We enjoyed the pool & spa, as well. The kitchen was well equipped for people wanting to prepare meals.

Excellent Apartment Stay

was a really nice place, very comfortable, great amenities and everything we needed was provided. Great view to the ocean and forrest behind us. was so nice waking to teh sound of birds singing and waves lapping. 5 minuite walk to the beach and cafes. Very friendly and accomodating staff. Was a very enjoyable and relaxing stay! Would definitely reccommend to friends and family. Thankyou

ビーチとプールが一度に見渡せる素敵なお部屋

0時間近のレイトチェックインにも関わらず、スムーズな対応をしてくださいました。また、部屋もとてもきれいで、数日の宿泊ではもったいないほどでした。ハイウェイ沿いということもあり多くの方が車で来ているようでしたか、私たちはバスで移動していました。ザヒルアパートメンツの徒歩圏内から10分間隔で深夜までバスがでているバス停があります。スーパーに行くにも外食するにもとても便が良かったです。

Great view

Very spacious unit with wonderful views. Great position. Bed was comfortable, linen clean and adequate. Floor was stained and either not or poorly vacuumed. Unit a little shabby, 60's tired Decore but comfortable and well equipped. Maintainance/on site man, was very helpful, courteous and efficient.

Noisy

Stayed here about 10 years ago and had a great experience. Not so this time. The room we stayed in was right next to the mountain which saw minimal sun and was to cold to sit outside to enjoy the view not only because there was no sun but the noise from the planes overhead was deafening. They were so close you could almost see the faces of the passenger's. A disappointing 3 days.

The Hills with a view

Nice clean accommodation with great views to the north. Close enough to the freeway to the shops, beaches & attractions that the Gold Coast has to offer. Only 30 mins from Gold coast university hospital. Beds could do with an update in apartment 23 though...they were a bit worn out & the one I had needed a wheel that was missing.

I haven't anything to add only great room, location didn't like other guests taking my parking space upset other guests because I had to park in there space

Great view, close to beach cafes and the beautiful Currumbin Valley. Great for cycling

A quiet refuge away from the hubbub.

This hotel only has very large rooms with two bedrooms, baths, etc. And a large, well-equipped kitchen, with balconies that look out onto the Bay. It´s 2/3 the distance from the Gold Coast and 1/3 from Coolangatta, but the busses run about every 7 to 8 minutes during the day, and they´re not expensive. The staff is wonderful, helpful and cooperative and leaves nothing to be desired. The only MAJOR weakness (for us) was the lack of a WiFi (= WLAN) in the rooms. The reception is only in the office, which closes at 5 p.m., but if you stand just outside of it, you can receive mails, internet, etc. This drawback is known by the staff and there are technical reasons why this is not currently in place. Check into this if this is important to you - it may be fixed by the time you read this.

Perfect for access to the Currumbin Alley and Elephant Rock for an early morning photography session.

Nice hotel. Beautiful views.

Had a great stay. Staff where wonderful and helpful. Rooms were clean. A little noisy due to flight path above but not hotels problem. Master bed was a bit squeaky. Will definitely be coming back and using the hill apartments as our regular family hotel. Kids loved the pool. 10/10

Needs an update

In our room we found a dusty old shoe under the bed and opened milk bottle in the fridge. The hallway cupboard and a couple of kitchen cupboards wouldn't close. Lots of silverfish and also found a few spiders. Updated furniture didn't quite fit properly in the living room. Flight path was directly overhead. Other odds and ends made it less than perfect but it wasn't terrible. Just needs a little bit of an update and better cleaning. Staff were nice and the location is ideal for families with small children who want small waves at the beach.

Good location right near beach

I came for the weekend to do dragon boating was a good hotel for weekend. But bed was not comfortable so glad was only for Two nights. Managers are very helpful and friendly and good location. Needs a bit of an update.

We enjoyed 10 lovely days thanks to the friendly manager Maggie ,very helpful lady.

Great location, great view, small walk to the surf

The units are nicely positioned over looking the still water and surf. Though the units are close to the gold coast highway the highway noise cannot be hear in the units. Rooms are spacious, and well appointed.

Well situated apartments, and great views.

The Hill Apartments are very well situated to get around, there are great views of the Currumbin lagoon and the beach, and it is quite comfortable. The staff are lovely, and very helpful. We had a great holiday.

Close to the Currumbin Estuary and Beach

We had a unit with a lovely view. When we arrived I asked the Managers if we could change units as we hadn't asked for a unit with a view. They were very obliging and allowed us to change.
