This was one of the best places I have stayed anytime. The host was super friendly and offered an espresso and a chat in the morning, the room just as expected and also the cleanest rooms! Did not expect this level for the price, very very good. Also very short walk feom everything, both nice restaurants, bars and the harbour. Very good place to go from if visiting Cinque Terre or other places nearby. Thank you for the warm hospitality and the umbrellqs to borrow 😉

The room was excellent and had everything we needed, and Cristina and her family are absolutely excellent hosts! Kitchen, laundry, and lovely shared balcony also!

We had a very nice room with balcony. The bed was very nice, the bathroom very clean. Christina, the host, was lovely, one of the best hosts I have ever met. I recommend 100%. Very good value for money ! The place is about 10 minutes from a free parking (d'Armi) and 10 minutes from the train station, and also near good restaurants and shops, very useful ! We spent 3 nights to visit Cinque Terre, including 2 in Riomaggiore, but if I had discovered this place earlier, we would have been there all 3 nights.

Abbiamo soggiornato in 4 per 6 notti nell'appartamento. Ci siamo trovati benissimo. Appartamento completo di ogni confort (lavatrice ferro e asse da stiro cucina completa con macchinetta caffe bollitore stovigle e pentolame nuovi). Appartamento restaurato da poco bagno nuovo e stanze grandi ci si puo stare comodamente in 6. Comodo a tutti i servizi della citta ed escursionii varie.

Un séjour très agréable ponctué de petites attentions. Notre hôte a été d'une gentillesse remarquable. Nous conseillons les yeux fermés et nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

Has been the best place where we have staid in Italy so far. The room was perfect. Big, confortable, very very clean, beautiful. The location is perfect. They always leave free water daily. The management at our hotel in la Spezia was fantastic, Christina was extremely helpful and her customer service was out of this world, they were always willing to help and suggesting things to do. Their responses to our wishes were fast and very efficient. The rooms were spacious and comfy and nicely decorated and the location was 10 min walk from the central train station . The en suite washrooms were very clean and had all amenities with a single shower in each room. We loved our stay in Le Cemere

Very clean, close to the train station, mother and daughter who run the place were super lovely and helpful. Gave us local restaurant tips. They also speaks very good english which helped me a lot. I would recomend to everyone

Quarto maravilhoso, com ótimo atendimento

Quarto maravilhoso, confortável e limpo, e com ótimo atendimento. Boa localização, com muitas opções de restaurantes. Embora não tenha café da manhã incluído, há vários locais em que se pode fazer a refeição com um preço ótimo nas proximidades.

Excelente estadia. Quarto muito bom, excelente espaço com tudo que se faz necessário para o conforto do hóspede. Banheiro muito bom com produtos de higiene de ótima qualidade. Localizado no centro de La Spezia, a poucos minutos a pé da estação ferroviária e do porto. Limpeza impecável. Além disso cabe ressaltar a calorosa recepção e hospitalidade da Cristina e da Julia, bem como sua disponibilidade em dar informações e orientações mesmo antes de nossa chegada.

Absolutely fabolous! the place is so cosy, tidy and clean, yet spacious enough to feel comfortable. The host is exceptionally nice and welcoming, availablem understanding, and guiding, she definitely contributes to make the stay enjoyable. Location is excellent, few minutes away from Train station, and from the Harbour, in a quiet district.

Great location. The host was the nicest person I met in all of Europe and I was in Europe a month. Very helpful in plan trips around the area The hotel was clean and quiet. We stayed another night.

Luxury in La Spezia

More than I Was expecting very clean ,stylish and modern , close to station and market , felt safe and secure ,owners friendly and helpful

Perfection

What an experience.... as soon as we arrived Cristina (owner) made us feel like family. She is the quintessential hostess with the 'mostest'. She printed out: Maps of the city of La Spezia, train times, tours available, cost of Cinque Terre ferry , and more, and it all awaited us upon our arrival. Our room was huge, clean and perfect for us. It even had a fridge. The bathroom was huge and roomy, and spotless. We were within walking distance to the train station AND the harbour AND shopping AND dozens of restaurants. Big plus for us was to leave our luggage safely stored for the day while we toured the city and then Cinque Terre. This is one place you must experience to see just how perfect it is. Cristina & her daughter will be like family! Don't miss out on the perfect place to stay for your Cinque Terre trip

Guilia and Cristina are wonderful hosts

Guilia and Cristina are wonderful hosts who were very welcoming, friendly and informative. The room was spotless clean and central to La Spezia to give easy of ferry access to Cinque Terre.

A great hotel for family stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Le Camere with our family. The location is about 15 minutes walk from La Spezia station. It's a safe neighborhood for family with everything including grocery stores, pharmacy and restaurant just outside the hotel. Both Gulia and Christina were extremely helpful. One thing to note is that they don't have a 24 hour onsite staff so your check in is limited to a few hours but they do co ordinate well. Very clean hotel. Room looked brand new and was very beautiful room just as shown in the picture.

Amazing homebase during your visit to Cinque Terre

Despite all of the excellent reviews, I was ready to be underwhelmed by Le Camere nel Corso. But this place did not disappoint!!!! Cristina and Julia were both very helpful, kind, and professional, Cristina even offered to do my laundry for me. Also, the place was completely spotless and everything smelled faintly of lavender! Most importantly, this is a great place to stay during your trip to Cinque Terre. It is a 10 minute walk to the train station and your have a convenient, clean, and quiet place as a homebase during your visit. When we saw all of the poor people carrying and dragging their suitcases up the stairs and steep inclines of Cinque Terre, we were so happy that we stayed in La Spezia and le Camere nel Corso in particular!!!

Perfect stay!

We loved our stay at Camere nel Corso! Guilia and Cristina are wonderful hosts who go above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay. Our lovely room was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. We were so impressed by the extra things they do to make your visit special: the information on Cinque Terre was so helpful and we really appreciated the great recommendations for restaurants in La Spezia. We also liked the bottled water, tea/coffee and sweets that they provided free of charge. We would happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone planning a visit to La Spezia. Thanks so much Guilia and Cristina for a wonderful stay at your beautiful place.

Très bonne adresse

Très bon accueil. De bons conseils, adresses et attentions de la part Cristina. Un logement très bien situé (10min de la gare à pied), pratique pour visiter les cinques terres ! Petit + pour le parking gratuit à 5min de l’appartement. Un séjour agréable et une adresse que nous recommandons à tous !

Welcoming and Really Kind

Our hostesses made our stay in La Spezia more than just a stop over to access Cinque Terre. We were greeted with all the information, timetables dinner recommendation and encouraged to walk the corso and appreciate their town. It was more lovely than I expected. Orange trees being trimmed in the street. Bike riders and people walking their dogs through the Piazza. Then back to a quiet, cool and clean room... such a bright and pleasant stay. You could take a fussy friend to stay in this appartment.

Exceptional service

This hotel was wonderful to stay in La Spezia. Christina and her mother were extremely helpful and even giving us a lot of information on where to explore. Before we checked in they made sure the air con was on for us as it was very hot during summer which was a delight. The room is modern clean and bedding was great. Service exceptional. Definitely would stay again.

Soggiorno a La Spezia

Ho soggiornato per tre giorni nel mese di luglio con mia figlia. Le camere sono nuove, pulitissime e dotate di ogni comfort. La titolare e la figlia sono state gentili e disponibili. Si trova in zona comoda al centro ed è ben servita dai mezzi di trasporto.

A great stay in La Spezia

Enjoyed our stay. Julia greeted us within seconds of arriving, and was so gracious in showing us our room and explaining a bit about the area, the trains, etc. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was modern and the shower hot! The only thing I'd comment on is that someone was smoking in the hallway or another room - so when entering or exiting we smelled smoke. Our room was smoke free and very comfortable. The A/C was almost too cold LOL.

Wonderful Hosts, Great Location Next To Train

Had such a great experience! The two women who run the hotel could not have been sweeter. Our room was spotless and was even packed with complimentary drinks. We asked questions for probably about 20 minutes and they were so happy to help. The hotel is very close to the train station, (5 minute walk), which was perfect for our stay as we were taking day trips to Cinque Terre. We came back one day from Cinque Terre and it had rained so our clothes were soaked and they offered to dry our clothes for us! Could not be happier with our stay! Ask for recommendations as well! Thanks so much for the amazing stay!
