Great place to stay. Home from home. Clean, comfortable Apart Hotel. Warm friendly welcome from reception. Welcone pack included cereal, milk, coffee, tea, crumpets and butter. Local to shops, bars and restaurants.

Great stay, ideal apartments for either Blackpool or lytham, friendly staff, will definitely stay again

Not quite what I was expecting but still nice

The apartment was very nice, clean and comfortable. Not quite as luxurious as it looked from the pics (it wasn't the same apartment as in the pics) but still nice and a great location. Check-in was complicated, we were sent to different places so ended up walking around up and down the road in the rain for half an hour trying to work out where we were meant to be. Communication beforehand wasn't great, they didn't respond to emails so I recommend phoning if you have any questions.

Have stayed before and apartment was much fresher and clean. This time we were allocated the ground floor 3 bedroom apt which felt quite run down. All the blinds were really dusty aa was dining table and bedroom floor when we had to move a bed it was full of dirt and rubbish. The bathroom window handle fell off and the window wouldn’t shut

Lovely apartments in great location

Apartment was lovely, very spacious and very clean. Location was perfect. Being at the back of the property, it was very quiet. We weren't able to use the table and chairs on the terrace outside due to the weather, but my only comment would be is that it could have done with tidying up a bit with rubbish overflowing from the bins.

Lovely apartment, clean with good facilities. Good parking and close to areas of interest Just be aware that apartments are over 3 floors with no lift.

Great for self catering but not what we booked

I booked a twin room with breakfast for two nights through Hotels.com and got a one bed self catering apartment with a kingsize bed and one pack of 6 crumpets. Not what I had ordered and the place was full so they couldn't move us. Luckily there was a sofa bed which we had to make up ourselves but it was in the dining kitchen with a glass panelled door and no blind, a noisy fridge freezer and a rattling air vent.

I had an excellent stay at the apartment with my 2 dogs. It was a great location right next to the beach where the dogs could run and enjoy the sand dunes. The apartment had everything I needed and was spacious especially for a solo traveller like me. There is a park opposite which again was perfect for the dog’s morning and evening strolls. Would definitely stay again.

The location was ideal for the beach. The shower didn’t drain away very well and had quite a lot of mould around the bottom. I think that the property was over priced. Henry was very pleasant and helpful.

Room 3 building 377. Not one mirror in the flat. (despite many comments in visitors book). The water in the shower is stuck on dangerously hot. The bed frame is broken (beware heavy people.) Take your own tea towels. Otherwise it was a lovely apartment.

Great find! Great location ! Apartment had everything you would hope for! Tastefully decor and all mod cons and unlike a hotel room it has plenty of space! The apartment was also spotless! Planning our next trip already!!!!

Good locale - close to beach, shops and park. Roms a little"tired" - chipped paintwork etc. Nice touch leaving fresh milk, butter, jam, croissants and pancakes. Double bed extremely uncomfortable - springs coming through mattress

The WiFi kept disconnecting, and the outside area is a bit scruffy

Family break

Apartment was lovely and good location for shops and local transport. Only downfall need to attend to loose toilet seat , bathroom mirror light not working , lamp not working in lounge , cooker hood all dirty finger print marks .

Can't fault them

We've stayed at these apartments 3 times and all have been great! There's nothing negative I could say about them, they are just brilliant. They're clean and spacious. The staff are warm, helpfull and friendly. The breakfast provided is all quality stuff. Tried out a few places in Lytham ST Ann's (including some of the top hotels) but these apartments are our favourite place to stay.

Lovely!!

We stayed here friday night as we were at a wedding in lytham. We read some reviews thursday that made us worry it wouldnt be very good..... however we were very pleasantly suprised! Absolutely gorgeous and very clean! Can not fault the place! We wished we were staying longer than 1 night! We will definitely return! Huge spacious apartment with an outdoor terrace area! Tea coffee etc supplied! Crumpets, butter, jam, milk and fresh orange juice in the fridge included in the price!

Fine for a night.

Great size apartment, but several broken lights and implements, some dodgy wiring with two switches controlling one light, and one not working at all. Abject confusion upon arrival as to keys for the room due to staff shortages. I'd called and requested a smaller bed for my 2 year old a few weeks prior to our arrival, but this was simply lip-service paid to me on the phone, as it wasn't provided. (A damaged bed-guard eventually was, and just about did the job). Fine for one night and a great location, but just missed the mark for me sadly.

Fantastic staff. Very spacious and good value for money. Only downside was traffic noise so best to request a quieter apartment at the back.

Excellent stay again

Lovely apartment, even better than the first time we stayed. One of the very few places that doesn’t charge extra for my Labrador. Friendly helpful staff with excellent recommendations re food an pubs Great little pub, No10 Ale house nearby.

Home from Home

Howarth House Apartment is brilliant, it is in an ideal location but is very quiet. There is a bus stop very close so if you don’t want to drive you can go into Blackpool, Clevleys, Fleetwood and Lytham. There are plenty of bars, tea shops and restaurants in the local area. There is an Aldi and a M&S food store very close by. The kitchen in the apartment is fully equipped so if you want to stay in and eat, it is very easy to do.

Lovely place, would definitely stay again. one of very few places that doesn't charge extra from my dog :) Larger towels would be good, otherwise brilliant.

Comfy stay and superb service

The staff sorted everything out for me and I had a really nice stay at Howarts. They have my favourite apartment always available and they are very flexible to adapt to my need. Happy to recommend Howarts

Hotel & aparthotel review

Aparthotel very well appointed. Rooms were lovely and warm apart from the bathroom which got warmer the longer we were there and we left the door open to allow the heat into it. My only slight niggle was that all the mirrors were high up so getting make up and hair done for New Year’s Eve was not easy - there were no “dressing table” mirrors. Our friend stayed in the hotel and although the room was small it was again well appointed. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were extremely helpful and chatty. The only other thing that threw us a little was that there were 3 sites for Howarth house and the sat nav only found the 2 aparthotel’s. I would recommend a location map with the 3 buildings clearly marked. We had 2 dogs with us and there was no problem or questions around either dog. Unusual as generally you get quizzed about size, and insistence about being well behaved. That said, Both of ours were very well behaved! Would definitely recommend anyone to stay at either. Bathroom shower is tiny. Bedspread had pet hair. I had already paid through Expedia but they wanted to run my card again

Free Continental Breakfast ?

The website states free breakfast. We received a single serving of cornflakes and a packet of crumpets for the first night. The lady said that we would not get anything for the next 2 nights. When website states free breakfast I would have thought it would be for every morning, not just the first.

Howarth apartments

Howarth Apartments were everything I hoped they would be. Comfortable, clean, spacious and private. I would highly recommend them.

Great quality

We stoped here as a family as my daughters were in a cheerleading competition in Blackpool . These are quality apartments , very comfortable with loads of space . Defibitely recommended . They are two minutes walk from Lytham town centre and a great escape from the tackines of Blackpool.

Really close to the beach

Quite a well equiped ground floor 'apartment' in an annex behind the main building. The quality of finishing far from perfect. Not for us. Won't return.

Lovely clean and tidy in a great location! Staff were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble.

Good and Bad

The room was fabulous, but the wall in the bedroom so thin i could hear others in the neighboring room watching TV until about 1 a.m I also didn't have internet access which i needed for work. I text the number i had been given twice, but they failed to respond which i don't think is very good.

Nice location

The apartment was ideal for us, only a 5min bus ride to Starr gate and opposite a park which was brilliant for our son. Room was perfect, plenty of room for 3 of us. The only downside was that we thought we booked breakfast with the room which when checking in this wasn't the case. We looked back at our booking and Breakfast was definitely noted. But apart from that our short stay was brilliant.

Great location, great service and great decor.

We booked to take elderly parents away with us for a couple of days at St Anne's, but forget to request a ground floor apartment because elderly parents struggle with stairs. Not a problem. When we arrived, the helpful staff successfully rearrange the booking and accommodated us. The location is excellent and décor and inclusions superb. We will recommend Howarth Apartments to friends and family.

Spacious but not comfortable...

Howarth House apartment was very clean and quiet and a friendly welcome. Bed and sofa very uncomfortable need renewing. Great location. Maybe don't advertise breakfast included we stayed two nights "breakfast" provided only for one night. Overall enjoyed our stay.

Not 4 star luxury

No breakfast on 1st day which was offered in description booking No room to park Shower door hanging off Smelt damp and obviously had leaks as could be seen on bedroom ceiling. No dishwasher which was also stated in the booking Went to the reception to ask re breakfast lots of women smoking in there not a good advert for your reputation No way was this 4 star luxury

Myself and 3 girlfriends, plus a 6 month old baby stayed at Howarth apartments for one night. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely be back. whilst we had more than enough room, we will definitely opt for the two bedroom apartment next time for that little bit more space. The only problem we found with the apartment was that it was too hot and very stuffy, there were no windows for us to open, and as much as we loved our stay we couldn't wait to get out in the morning as we were all very warm. This definitely needs looking into as there was no air coming in and circulating the room. All in all, our stay at Howarth house was brilliant and I will definitely be back.

Amazing

A lovely and spacious accommodation with very friendly staff. Very enjoyable for our family. Very comfortable and a definite Base for future trips and adventures to the coast. Highly recommended.

Cleanliness,check in and cracked window

We had to wait around over an hour to be checked in, not what you want to do after a 3 and half hour journey. We did notify of arrival time. The rooms had dirty floors. Kids room window had a crack in it with sharp edges.

Lovely overnight stay in Lytham St Annes

Great value to have this apartment for the family. The children could have their own room and lots of living space. Breakfast was basic but absolutely spot on.

Very Pleasant Experience

It was a fantastic experience, very impressed with the apartment. I stayed with my wife and 3 kids whilst visiting Blackpool pleasure beach. we had complimentary scones, bread, orange juice and milk left in the fridge for breakfast. We had to call room service in the morning because there was no toilet roll. They were very apologetic and had someone deliver to us within minutes.

Fantastic from start to finish. So impressed with the service and help. The shower could do with a small service but I'm taking away such great memories from such a short stay. As Arnie would say... 'I'll be back'!

Had a lovely stay at these apartments. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Apartment was a great size for a small family. Bed was very comfy. Within a few minutes walk to a fabulous dog friendly beach and all the shops. We will, hopefully, be back.

Great apartment great location.

This is the second time I have stayed at the Howarth House apartments and I will return. The spacious apartment has everything that is needed and is fitted out to a high standard. I travel quite often for work and I enjoyed the space, it is much better than a small hotel room and I don't need to eat out every night :-) It is on the bus route to Blackpool so you are only minutes away from everything it has to offer but it is in a quiet area so you are not being disturbed all night. Although it is the holiday season, I was here for work and getting out of bed at 5am but I never heard any noise from the other apartments. I have found a gem here and I will be back.

Certainly Not Luxurious

Poor customer service - no one at check in 2pm. No greeting or advice re facilities on arrival. Not even asked for paperwork. Staff thought we were booking out on 2nd day - booked for 3 nights. Definitely not luxurious as described or as depicted on photographs. Poor quality bedding, furnishings, crockery etc for luxurious accommodation. Lamp table provided as stool at dressing table. 3 hangers for 2 people for 3 days. Continental breakfast - 1 x 4 pack of croissants, 1 4pack of rolls, 4 jams, 4 butters, orange juice for 2 people for 3 days Dirty kitchen floor, had to clean coffee table and dining table, dining chairs all sticky, dirty oven tray. Bath mat provided as dish towel. Stickers still on glasses and pots. Dirty marks on carpets, walls and paint on quilted cover. Small bedroom. No dishwasher or safe. Description says available. Cracked tile at wc. Torn pillowcase. Complimentary toiletries - 1 tiny showergel and shampoo Used ear cottonbud found underbed. Disappointed.

Most amazing stay.

Have to say I don't normally write reviews but on this occasion I feel it only just to say what a wonderful find this place is. We had the 3 bed apartment and it was amazing value for the money. 2 double rooms, 1 with an ensuite and another room with 2 single beds in. The place was in pristine condition. Not a speck of dust anywhere. Looked like a brand new build. Very spacious with all ameneties. Dishwasher, washing machine. Even some milk, tea coffee and croissants for breakfast. Tv's in every room too was a bonus for the kids. We will definitely stop here again in the future. Would 100% thoroughly recommend.

Good Value Apartment ideally placed

A two night break for a quiet weekend away. Ideally placed apartment, shops and restaurants nearby and on a bus route for those who prefer public transport.A small amount of maintenance needed in our apartment but this did not affect our stay. Would definitely return there

Great location

Across the road from a lovely park, short walk to the beach. Comfortable accommodation, clean and well equipped - decent size. Great staff. Would have loved it even more if there was a bath!!! Will be back!

Fabulous place

Having stayed before I was half expecting another good visit and I wasn't disappointed. Very modern, clean, usual facilities, free wifi and with a car park at the front I had everything to make my stay perfect. Ideally located a short distance to the shops, beach and Gastro Pub this apartment was spot on and I'd definitely stay again
