Viva Mare Hotel

This is the second year we have stayed at the lovely Viva Mare, we have already booked again for next year. This little gem of a hotel is amazing and you will not be disappointed. The welcome you get from Chrissa, Maria and the team is wonderful, they are always on hand and can help you with any questions you may have, booking trips and restaurants. The hotel is very clean and all the rooms are spacious, cleaned every day and well equipped with cooking facilities (microwave, hob and fridge freezer) if you wish to eat in. Breakfast is varied and top quality. The pool is a good size with a poolside bar for drinks and snacks. There are plenty of sunbeds and seating areas around the poolside. It is child friendly with various pool toys available and a shallow area. It is a ten minute downhill walk into town (the walk back up to the hotel is quite steep and not suitable if you any mobility issues). In the town you will find plenty of restaurants, boutique style shops, beach bars and you can hire sunbeds on the beach. You could either take a boat trip around the coast or hire your own small boat. If you choose to hire a car the villages nearby also have some lovely restaurants. Highly recommend.

Excellent accommodation in a beautifully clean complex. Rooms cleaned to an immaculate standard: clean bedding and towels every day. Breakfast is simple but fresh local produce. Swimming pool is perfect. A quiet time is observed between 14.30 - 17.30 though you can still swim. We found most families headed for the beach and returned early evening for a sunset swim. Perfect. The staff are amazing- the cleaners clean everything including shutters, windows, everything! Special mention to Alex as nothing is too much trouble and also to Chrissy who is so friendly and helpful. To summarise this place is perfect.

Viva Mare is a gem. Beautiful apartments, well appointed, with both a pool and easy access to the beach, shops dining. Alexandros, one of the owners went to exceptional efforts to help resolve a problem I had accessing some Greek services. Many thanks!

Great property. I would recommend for families

Great looking property, pool is excellent. Front counter staff speak excellent English and are very informative. Even made dinner reservations for us at a very good and popular restaurant. 5 min walk to beach and restaurants.

What a delightful hotel! Wonderful Greek experience, wish we’d discovered it earlier in our travels through Peloponnese. Definitely in our plans on return trip for a longer stay. Staff very friendly and efficient.

Superb customer service - so friendly and helpful. The hotel is kept impeccably clean. Breakfast (delivered to room - order day before) is excellent, especially the homemade pies and cakes! Location is overlooking the town (<5 minute walk away) with wonderful views.

Beautiful hotel, lovely seaview from the room/balcony. Stunning pool, very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely rooms, very clean and great standards. Quiet location but only 5mins walk to the beach. We had the most relaxing and wonderful holiday!

Superbe hôtel. Très bien placé (une rue à descendre pour avoir accès à la plage et aux restaurants....). Très propre. Tout le personnel est très sympa et souriant, aux petits soins. Par contre, covid oblige, le petit-déjeuner était servi en chambre : viennoiseries pas top, et au secours l'écologie, tout emballé individuellement ou presque !!! Coin cuisine un peu trop petit pour 5. Merveilleux séjour malgré tout !

Charmant séjour mais attention vue mer

La chambre, l'accueil, le petit-déjeuner en chambre a cause du covid, tout cela etait très bien même si le contenu du petit-déjeuner pourrait etre amélioré avec des produit de meilleur qualité. Seul bémol, la notion de chambre vue mer n'est pas très honnête, nous avions vue sur un bout de mer sur le côté de la terasse donc de la chambre, vue sur les chambre d'en face.

Απλά Τέλειο.. Κλείσε δωμάτιο τώρα !!

Απλά Τέλειο...! Κλείσε δωμάτιο τώρα !! Είναι αυτό που θέλεις... Κλέινεις δωμάτιο και πάς να απολαύσεις ξεκούραση ! Θερμή και ευγενική Υποδοχή με άμεσο check-in. Τέλειος εξωτερικός χώρος και δωμάτια όπως τα βλέπεις στις φωτογραφίες. Μεγάλα και ήσυχα δωμάτια 30 - 40 m2 με ότι χρειάζεσαι..! Κλιματισμός, ψυγείο με δωρεάν νερό, κουζίνα, φούρνος μικροκυμάτων  όλα τα είδη εστίασης κ.λ.π. Διπλό μεγάλο κρεβάτι 2m x 2m. Μονός καναπές που κοιμήθηκα χωρίς κανένα πρόβλημα για το ύψος μου (1,93m). Πεντακάθαρα όλα και τακτοποιημένα. Ωραία Θέα από το μπαλκόνι σου στην θάλασσα. Ησυχία.. Χαλάρωση ! Πισίνα να ευχαριστηθεί όλη η οικογένεια. Πρωινό καλό με καλή ποικιλία.  Παραλία σε 4΄ με τα πόδια, το αυτοκίνητο το ξεχνάς. Αξίζει τα χρήματα σου 100% ! Ήταν η 2η φόρα αλλά θα το επιλέξουμε πάλι σύντομα !

Nicht zu empfehlen

Für ein 4 Sterne Hotel recht bescheiden. Keine Handtücher für den Pool. Das Frühstück war auch eher bescheiden. Sehr laut und kaum Erholung möglich da Kinder den ganzen Tag Radau gemacht haben. Für Paare ohne Kinder nicht zu empfehlen.

Magnifique endroit, les chambres sont spacieuses, bien décorées et très propres. La piscine est très bien aussi. A 2 minuntes à pied vous trouverez la plage et plein de restaurants. En un mot allez y !

Χώρος που θυμίζει Κυκλάδες - μεγάλο δωμάτιο διακοσμημένο με γούστο. Πολύ καθαρό. Ευγενικό προσωπικό.

Απίστευτα καλόγουστο και καθαρό διαμέρισμα,τέλεια εξυπηρέτηση ,καθαρότατη πισίνα και καταπληκτικό πρωινό.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit hübschen Apartments, alles sehr gepflegt, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, nur 3 Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand und Ort, ordentliches Frühstück - können wir (Familie mit 2 Teenager-Töchtern) absolut empfehlen.

Ambiente spazioso e pulito a 2 passi dalla spiaggia locale. Staff cordiale e disponibile.

Πάρα πολύ ωραίο διαμέρισμα, ευρύχωρο και καθαρό. Εμεινα πολύ ευχαριστημένη από όλο το προσωπικό, διακριτικοί και ευγενικοί. Το πρωινό εξαιρετικό, καλύπτει ολα τα γούστα.Η πισίνα υπεροχη , καθαρή . Κατάλληλο για χαλαρωση!!! Μονο η συνδεση με το wifi ήταν κάπως προβληματική κάποιες φορες, νομιζω όμως οτι ειναι θεμα της περιοχής.

Trevligt och välskött hotell

Vi tillbringade en vecka på hotell Viva Mare i juni och hade det väldigt bra. Trevlig personal och fint och fräscht hotel.h frukosten fullt tillräcklig möjligen kunde man önskat att det varit lite mer variation.

Best looking studios in town.

Very spacious studios, enormous comfortable bed, great views of the sea and town. We were at the top and the only ones with a balcony on both sides by luck. Vast choice at breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Lovely pool, very rarely used by anyone. Definitely the best hotel in town!

A Southern Peloponnesian Oasis

In all of our travels we have rarely encountered an accommodation as nice as this one. While not a large property, it meets or rivals much larger Greek accommodations when it comes to management, decor, cleanliness, beauty and can-do, positive attitude of its staff. There is really not enough that is positive that we can say about the Viva Mare. They’ve been attentive to every detail when it come to decor – rivaling places in legendary places like Mykonos and Santorini. Their pool is beautiful and there’s an enchanting beach right below the hotel. The landscaping is impeccable and simply must be seen for its attentiveness to detail. Perhaps the only area where Viva Mare needs improvement is expanding its parking, though we had no problem in parking our car. The breakfast room is enchanting and pleasant and the choice of breakfast fare should satisfy any and all comers. We plan to return to the area for the simple reason that, this time, we wish to reserve an entire week to relax amidst the charms of this place. Would that all Hellenic hotelier emulated the owners and staff of this little oasis in the Southern Peloponnesos.

Das Hotel liegt 10 Min. vom Strand in Finikounda entfernt und bietet eine sehr angenehme, entspannte Atmosphäre. Zimmer, Frühstück, Pool, alles top !!

A Hidden Gem

This place is a gem. We had been travelling for Europe for 2 months and this was without a doubt the best place we had stayed in. The rooms were spacious and clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff were fantastic and the included breakfast was awesome. The pool was great. It was a short walk to the main shopping/dining area and the beach. We wanted an authentic Greek experience and we weren't disappointed. The streets come alive at night. What an awesome experience we had in this town. We wished we had stayed longer but at this moment we are planning a return visit. I would thoroughly recommend this place!

Brilliant Holiday

We came as family (3 person) and staid for a week. Even our check in was at 1am the staff was very friendly and gave us a nice welcome. Holiday started from the first minute. The room is clean, large and beautiful equiped. Some rooms accessible for people with a disability. Breakfast buffet is very good, choice was OK and changes nearly daily. The complete hotel area is very tidy and the pool is top. Enough sunlounger for everyone. Drinks are available on the pool bar and their are tables and chairs in front of the room. Shopping and restaurants within a lovely 3 minutes walk. The whole staff was friendly, nice and helpful. It was a familiar atmosphere. We will surely come back.

Fabulous Hotel Close to Beach

We stayed in a lovely, spacious family apartment which comfortably accommodated 5 people. The hotel is of a very high standard, in fact one of the nicest ones we've stayed in Greece. Very clean with fresh towels every day and bedlinen every other day. Free air conditioning which works very well. Excellent pool area with bar. Five minute walk to beaches and tavernas. Lovely, friendly staff for whom nothing was too much trouble.

In close proximity to the beach. Super friendly for families and kids but also very pleasant for young couples. Nice, clean and friendly staff.

Tolles Hotel sehr nahe am Meer und am Dorfkern

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen zweiwöchigen Aufenthalt. Das Hotel hat uns sehr gut gefallen, einziger Wermutstropfen man kann sich in der kleinen Küche keinen Kaffee morgens kochen. Nach Anfrage haben wir aber eine kleine Kaffeemaschine gestellt bekommen von der Hotelleitung. Ansonsten alles tipptopp wir kommen gerne wieder

Beautiful place to stay, wheather you relax by the pool or explore the beaches! Walking distance from the main strip in Finikounda which hosts small shops and the best resturant... Elena's!
