Maravilloso hotel

Todo estuvo perfecto, muy amables al permitirnos dejar nuestras maletas antes del horario de entrada, el cuarto grande, limpio, hermoso. Muchos detalles para los huéspedes, un desayuno delicioso y todo el personal impecable y muy atentos. Recomiendo muy ampliamente este hotel.

Al hacer el check out quien me atendió me cobró de forma indebida una noche, argumentando que hoteles.com no había pagado todas las noches Insistí en que erra un error y lo checara, pero de forma brusca me cobro de igual forma y tuve que llamar para hacer el reclamo. Estoy en espera del reembolso

Hotel Pequeño pero muy bonito en el centro de Houston, la habita muy cómoda, todo en general bien, lo único que no me gusto es que no hicieron el aseo del cuarto, fueron solo 2 noches y no sé si por tema COVID no lo hagan el aseo en estancias cortas

Tengan cuidado porque en la página no anuncian que durante tu estancia en el hotel NUNCA te van a tender la cama ni tampoco el baño ni cuarto en general.

Excelente servicio y ubicación en Houston.

El hotel está muy bien ubicado en el centro cerca de restaurantes, teatros y tiendas comerciales. El hotel es un pequeño museo de arte y cuenta con lo necesario un pequeño restaurante de muy buena calidad habitaciones no muy grandes pero del tamaño necesario para estar cómodo, y el servicio de primera en todo el hotel, La atención extraordinaria de Diana y Jesse en la recepción fueron un valor agregado nos resolvieron todas las dudas y nos dieron toda la información así como nos ayudaron con la compra de tours a donde queríamos ir. El personal del valet también muy atentos y tienen un servicio que te llevan y te traen al centro de la ciudad. Nosotros fuimos al Toyota Center a un juego de baskebol y nos llevaron y nos recogieron a la puerta del estadio. El hotel también tiene un servicio complementario del servibar que está incluido en el precio. Este hotel es chico pero grande en servicio y atención. todos están atentos para que tengas una muy buena estancia. Para nosotros que hemos viajado a muchas partes del mundo este hotel tiene un estander muy alto Para mi es un claro cinco estrellas o algo más porque así nos hicieron sentir

This hotel is absolutely one of the finest you'll find. They go the extra mile in so many ways to make your stay memorable and comfortable. Beautiful, stunning interior. Exceptionally competent and friendly staff. We always look forward to our next stay at the Lancaster.

We love this hotel and it’s bar. Only complaint is the bartenders. ALWAYS have to flag them down for another cocktail they act as if stocking the bar is their priority.

Nice old style hotel. Good service, nicely decorated for christmas. Had an excellent meal in the restaurant and enjoyed our stay.

The shower and bathroom were very underwhelming for a penthouse suite.

We would have eaten in the restaurant but we had a really bad experience from the bartender in the hotel restaurant that completely put us off our experience in that area of the hotel. Everyone else was welcoming and professional.

Truly THE Place to Stay in Houston

The staff are the most welcoming people and I look forward to seeing them again in the coming year. My favorite amenity is the snack drawer with free drinks, candy, cookies, and chips that are replenished daily. The hotel restaurant is equally outstanding and makes single diners feel right at home.

Lancaster never disappoints

The Lancaster is a beautiful hotel located in a very convenient spot downtown. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. Enjoyed the bar as well with a delicious dirty martini! Highly recommend

I wish every hotel was like this. Clean, comfortable, and quiet. It's the same every time we stay. We know we are going to enjoy it and it does not disappoint. What really sets this hotel apart is the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. From the first valet that opens your door, to the doorman, the front desk, the bartenders and waiters, housekeeping, etc. - everyone is smiling, professional and so helpful if you need anything. We don't like to stay anywhere else when we come to Houston.

Great hotel, perfect location, yummy food & drinks

This hotel is a gem. The rooms are lovely. The fridge is full of drinks and good snacks. The bar/restaurant is top notch. The breakfast is included and like those a fine European hotel would offer. Staff is great. Five stars all the way! And the location...just a block from the symphony hall and opera house...wow!

A classic hotel from 1926 with impeccable service. food, and security.

Property is great and the amenities and snacks that are complimentary were great. However they only checked me in almost at 4PM and only because I went to ask how far they were with my room and check in time is at 3! Did not offer me even a glass of water or anything while I was waiting. The staff is rude! And overall not a great stay…. I would not be here again

The Lancaster is a lovely classic property. Immaculate and service-oriented. The rooms are quite small but very comfortable with all the amenities and more. We will stay again for sure.

Love the quietness of the room and extra amenities from robe/slippers, free snacks/drinks, and delicious breakfast buffet to extremely accommodating and kind staff, the Lancaster feels luxurious. Wish we had gotten the extra VIP/room upgrade Expedia said.

This is such a beautiful property. The location is wonderful, right in the heart of the art district and walkable to restaurants, shows, and street art. The amenities are great!- breakfast, gym, in room snacks and nespresso coffee, on site art gallery, and welcome Champagne. I am marking them down because you can hear everything in the room. There was a car alarm that went off for 2 or more hours and it was from the valet parking area. It went off so long that my brain made it a permanent sound. You could also hear the showers from other rooms, doors closing, everything. It was so terrible that I did not get a good night of sleep and I woke up with a headache. If I do stay again I would bring my noise machine and/or earplugs.

The hotel is stunning! It is walking distance to many of the downtown events. The staff were very attentive and engaging. There was an issue with the chain in the toilet tank and I reported it, within 10 minutes someone came to fix it. The bar was lovely, we ended each evening there with a nightcap. I highly recommend this hotel.

Our room was elegant and comfortable, and the on-site restaurant served an exquisite dinner that we thoroughly enjoyed. The hotel’s location was ideal for exploring the area, making it easy to enjoy nearby attractions. Overall, The Lancaster Hotel exceeded our expectations and provided the perfect backdrop for our celebration. We can’t wait to return for future anniversaries! Great hotel - the location (close to theaters, restaurants), the staff was helpful and friendly, the hotel is beautiful and the amenities offered go above and beyond most hotels. Definitely making this a regular stay when we are downtown.

I would have gladly given all excellent and 5 stars but the air conditioning is super load and comes on for a few minutes it seemed like off and on all night long. The fan makes a lot of noise. Thankfully the room stayed cool but it was very loud and hard to sleep

It was a really amazing stay! The room was clean and relaxing. The music coming from the Houston Symphony building just outside our room was very soothing! Complimentary breakfast bar was amazing! Can’t wait to stay here again!

The Lancaster has become our go to hotel for my partner and I when attending an event in the theater district. Its absolutely gorgeous with its rich history and the attentiveness of the staff is a HUGE cherry on top. The staff is incredibly courteous and always available to assist. The fact that all the theaters are within walking distance is a plus.

Wonderful staff and luxurious facilities. Every need was met, and exceeded expectations! Will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area, especially those attending a performance at the Alley.

Great place to stay for anyone, even locals, for an enjoyable stay in the theater district. Do not drive home. Make it a late night with a great night sleep with a fine breakfast.

I liked everything.

We have stayed here a few times and it’s always been great. Rooms aren’t huge, but well appointed and the service is always amazing. We don’t stay anywhere else in downtown Houston.

The ambience of this posh small lovely hotel was hip yet classic. Very clean, polite staff and informative valet service, higher end complimentary breakfast is a must have, easy walking distance to a night life, parks, shopping, arts , music and food. Be informed of the cancellation policy before you book just in case you need it.

On site restaurant was great. Easy to walk to our event at Minute Maid Park. Convenient for many downtown venues. Rooms are clean and quaint, not huge but quiet and comfortable. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Nice boutique hotel. Old school classy. Would stay again!
